Welcome to the trophy guide for Unsealed: The Mare. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox One, Series X and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4/5 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Welcome to Unsealed: The Mare which is a first-person psychological horror where you play as Vera, locked inside a nightmare born from your family’s broken past. Restore memories, solve puzzles, and face what you tried to forget. It must end, before you do. You search for what should have been forgotten. As fragments of your family’s tragedy surface, they poison your mind and intertwine with your memories, distorting the dream into something increasingly horrific. In this nightmare, everything feels connected – bound by guilt, sorrow, and something far darker you cannot yet comprehend. Progress through three chapters of an unfolding nightmare, each distorting reality in new and unpredictable ways. Use tools like the flashlight, lighter, bulbs, and camera wisely as resources grow scarce, and rely on your Focus – a memory-driven vision that lets you recall the past, reshape the dream, and solve puzzles that defy logic. Destroy fragments of her memories to weaken her hold, if only for a moment. Death is not liberation; it’s merely another memory, sealed away.
Stage 1 – Play the Story.
There are 3 chapters to play through in the game. During this stage you will need to interact with as many items as possible that you see through your playthrough. Otherwise play through the story to enjoy it the first time and you will earn most trophies naturally. There are a few puzzles to solve while playing through the chapters. There will be a larger white note nearby that will have a riddle or “what to do” message that will help to solve the order of lighting candles or which rooms have the teddy bears inside them.
Note: As you move through a chapter, you may notice a “swishing sound” and this is an auditory cue for you to use your special vision in the game. To use the special vision you only need to press and hold the x button. This will reveal any special symbols, locks, etc. that are needed to solve a puzzle. Remember that anything revealed in blue is considered good or working in your favour to progress through the game. Any items in red are considered a road block or something that will lead to your character’s death.
Stage 2 – Replay Final Area of the Game.
After finishing the game, you will be able to play the final house area of the game over and over. In this area you will be able to earn any outstanding trophies. The placement of items and the teddy bears is random. so this can either make a run easy or frustrating depending on how much searching you need to do and how aggressive the ghost hunts are. Using the camera will help to make this easier to prevent a death, as a death will cause you to have to recollect the final teddy bears.

Lurker
Complete chapter 3 without using the flashlight.
During Chapter 3 while in the house you will have to make sure that you never use the flashlight at all. This includes the very final part of the chapter too. If you by mistake bring up the flashlight even for a split second you will avoid this run for the trophy. Therefore, it is recommended to replay Chapter 3 after you have learned the house layout and know your way around. If you are looking for light sources, it is best to turn on or repair with a bulb, the ceiling lights of a room as this will flood the room with the most amount of light as you search for the teddy bears. After finding all the teddy bears you can proceed to the next and final area of the game in the basement through the unsealed door. At the very end of the chapter you will be able to hold the lighter (lite or not) and press and hold the “X” button so that the magically lock will appear once the ghost is inside the room with the playing music. Then you can activate the fire by also pressing and holding the “X” button again. See the video below for more information.

Efficiency
Burn 4 teddies within 60 seconds.
You will need to find and burn at least 4 teddy bears in a row within 60 seconds. You can replay Chapter 3 as many times as needed for you to be successful with this trophy. Remember that the placement of the teddy bears is random and you can possibly find 2 or 3 within one room and then a few more in the next. Once you get accustomed to where you typically can find them, you will be able to move more quickly through the house to burn as many as you can.

Awakening Memory
Complete chapter 1.
This is story related and cannot be missed. You will earn this naturally for progressing through the story.

Remembering Home
Complete chapter 2.
This is story related and cannot be missed. You will earn this naturally for progressing through the story.

The Final Flame
Complete chapter 3.
This is story related and cannot be missed. You will earn this naturally for progressing through the story.

Poor Teddy
Successfully flash a running teddy.
Later in the game you will eventually find a camera. You can pick up to 3 cameras at a time. Once you use one, it will be used up. You can use the camera to stun the mare or the teddy bears. You just need to use the camera while a teddy bear is running near you to stun it.

Daddy Teddy
Find the secret teddy.
In Chapter 3 in the basement of the house there are some shelves that are near the blue barrels behind the stairs. You will need to equip the lighter with the flame going and then between the two shelving units there will be a teddy bear that you can burn. This is the secret teddy bear in the game. See the pictures below for more information.



Speed Run
Seal the door within 10 minutes.
You will need to complete Chapter 3 within 10 minutes, but in the PS trophies description it says 13 minutes. Using either time, you will need to be quick in burning all the teddy bears in Chapter 3, luring the mare to the room in the basement, lock the ghost in the room, and then burning room with the mare. Since the placement of the teddy bears is random, you may need to replay this chapter a few times in order to be successful. It is highly recommended to play with headphones on and to listen carefully for the sounds that the teddy bears make (laughs, snorts, sneezes, etc.) while avoiding the mare (foot steps, breathing, odd electronic interference sound on devices, etc.). Remember that the mare will also dim or break light bulbs when near so make sure to turn on the main ceiling lights if you need more light to see the teddy bears more easily. Scavenger
Loot a total of 300 items.
You will need to pick up items as you find them in the game. The items are: bulbs, flashlight batteries, lighter fluid, and cameras. You can pick up multiples of an item to have in your available inventory. There is a maximum number for each different item that you can carry, but once you use one of those items you are free to pick up that same item again. You will earn this trophy as soon as you have picked up your 300th item. There is a trophy counter for this that you can check on your PS5 within the trophy list to see how many you need to still obtain.

Bulbasaurus
Repair 30 lamps.
You will need to repair 30 lamps (desk lamps, floor lamps, wall lights, or ceiling lights). You will need to pick up light bulbs when you can and then use them to repair any of these lamps through the game. There is a trophy counter for this that you can check on your PS5 within the trophy list to see how many you need to still obtain.

Archivist
Read all notes.
As you are playing through the game, you will notice a sound effect when you are near any notes that are posted on walls or posts in the game. You will need to interact with the larger white notes only in Chapter 3 to earn this trophy. You do not need to read any of the post-it notes in this chapter. There will be 13 of these notes. The notes are always in the same location within the chapter.
The locations are:
1. Second floor – on the wall to the left of a bedroom door that is close to the straight set of stairs.
2. Second floor – from the note above, go into the bedroom and it is on the wall to the right before the walk in closet.
3. Second floor – on the wall in the laundry room.
4. Second floor – on the wall in the room with bookshelves, couch, radio, lamp, dresser, and floor lamp outside the bathroom.
5. Second floor – in the bathroom on the wall.
6. Second floor – in the master bedroom on the wall near the opening to the computer room.
7. First floor – on the wall outside of the living room that has the TV beside the French doors.
8. First floor – on the wall outside the bathroom.
9. First floor – on the wall inside the bathroom near the bath tub.
10. First floor – on the wall near the small table with a lamp on it beside the basement door.
11. First floor – on the wall in the dining room beside the French doors that lead to the kitchen.
12. First floor – on the wall around the corner from the straight set of stairs and near the front door.
13. Basement – on a hanging wooden beam to the right directly after going through the unsealed door.

Never Surrender
Die for a total of 30 times.
In order to die you will need to be caught by the mare. You will need to die at least 30 times. There is a trophy counter for this that you can check on your PS5 within the trophy list to see how many you need to still obtain.

Flasher
Stun the mare for a total of 20 times.
You will need to use the camera to stun the mare a total of 20 times. When you stun the mare, she will fade away, but this does not mean that she is far away from you as she could come right back at you a few seconds later. Therefore, make sure to always try to carry the full amount of 3 cameras with you at a time.

Pyromaniac
Burn 200 total teddies.
You will need to use the lighter to burn at least 200 teddy bears in the game. There is a trophy counter for this that you can check on your PS5 within the trophy list to see how many you need to still obtain.

Nope
Quit the game within 60 seconds of starting a round.
As soon as you start the game from it begin closed, you will need to start to play the game and then immediately close the game. This can be done at any point in the game.

Pizza Lover
Serve pizza to the mare.
During Chapter 3 you may experience a random event where the doorbell rings and a pizza then appears on the floor near the front door. You need to collect the pizza and then take it to the kitchen and place it on the kitchen island. Eventually the mare will go into the kitchen and eat the pizza. You do not need to wait around in the kitchen for her to do this, you can continue doing other tasks in the game while they eat it. See the pictures below for more information.



Halfway There
Burn 5 teddies in a single run.
Use the lighter to burn 5 teddy bears in a row without ever being caught by the ghost.
