Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4/5 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Stage 1 – Useful tips and tricks

Welcome to the trophy guide for The Plucky Squire. Your main goal is to complete the game in ‘Adventure mode‘ while collecting all scrolls and glitchbirds.

Before starting the game, you can adjust some options to make it easier. Navigate via options to Accessibility.
You can turn on a bunch of options here like ‘One Hit kill’ and ‘Invincibility’.

The game has chapter select upon completing the game. However, to save you some time keep the following trophies in mind:
– Adventure Complete – Start your game on Adventure difficulty.
– Perfect Fish Grab – Earned during chapter 4
– Cheese Mushrooms – Earned during chapter 6
– Star Walker – Earned during chapter 6
– Bust Buster – Earned during chapter 9

Furthermore it is important that you collect enough light bulbs to upgrade all of Jot’s abilities. During chapter 6 there are two mugs present. The first one has a bunch of bulbs on the right-side area. If you walk towards area 2 with the candles and return to the first mug, the bulbs will be there again. This allows you to get 7 bulbs at a time. It doesn’t seem much, but doing this 10 times will get you 70 bulbs.

Glitched trophy: Saviour of the Glitchbirds
Ironically the trophy name has the word “glitch” in it. The birds must be collected during a single walkthrough without using chapter select or reloading a save file.
If you use chapter select and pick up a Glitchbird, it will reset the counter. You will need to pick up any Glitchbirds before that point.

Upon completing the game, you may use chapter select to revisit the missed glitchbirds in the chapters. The game will notify you how many glitchbirds you have by saying “This is the fourth lost glitchbird”.

Stage 2 – Roadmap including scrolls and birds

Chapter 1

Trophy: “Powerful Puncher” (Story related)
Scroll #1: Behind a tree and inside a bush. Towards the left of a pound.
Scroll #2: Just a bit forward, it can be bought from the merchant
Glitchbird #1: To the right of a bigger rock.

Chapter 2

Scroll #3 Behind multiple trees
Scroll #4 bought at the merchant
Scroll #5 Left bottom of the map, where the text reads: “There was a strange electricity in the air”
Glitchbird #2: Behind a stone wall/ruin at the top of the map
Scroll #6: Bought from the merchant
Scroll #7: Behind the pages on the left side. The text reads: “Big blocks of Books”

Chapter 3

In chapter 3 you can leave the magic book. Upon finding the glove you will be able to open the book and turn pages.
Before you enter the book, you’ll collect scroll 8.
Trophy: “Optimistic Explorer” (Jump from the table)
Scroll #8 From the book’s position, climb the items upwards. Walk towards the right and you’ll see the scroll.
Scroll #9 After opening the book, enter the book. You’ll find the scroll in the top right corner.
GlitchBird #3 Same page, inside the left building

Chapter 4

Trophy “Huge Frog“
Scroll #10 Bought from the merchant
Trophy “Perfect Fish Grab“
Walk underneath the bridge and interact with the goldfish. Grab the goldfish on your first try in the following sequence.

Scroll #11 Towards the left on the page with the many frogs
Scroll #12 Inside the cave, top right area
Scroll #13 Behind the painting palette
Scroll #14 Just a bit forward, inside the building on the right
Scroll #15 Bought from the merchant inside the town
Glitchbird #4: Exit the book and go back to the page with the hollow tree and a black page on the left. Walk over the black page and a hidden portal appears. Enter and grab the Glitchbird.
Scroll #16 Continue your path inside the book, you’ll find it on the bottom side of the area inside a tree.

Chapter 5

Scroll #17; Bought at the merchant

Find all the pigs:
Pig #1: Bottom left
Pig 2: Bottom left, brown building
Pig #3: Top right corner
Pig #4: Middle area, pink building with the brush
Pig #5 Top right; interact with the big big. Now walk towards the bottom left and interact with the dog.
Walk towards the bottom right, and interact with the dude with the matching hat (owner of dog).
Grab the green apple from the purple building at the top left. Bring the apple to the owner of the dog.
Interact with the dog. Now enter the portal and exit the book. Walk towards the top left corner, and enter the book. Grab pig #5.
Pig #6: Exit the book again and walk towards the right bottom corner, enter the book and grab Pig #6.
Pig #7: Complete the 3D section until you get the new gloves. Tilt the book.

Scroll #19 Bottom left building in the city
Scroll #20; in the 3D section top right section. Jump through the duct tape and you see it inside a glass.
Scroll #21 Still in the 3D section. Jump on top of the kubus and continue forward. Jump down from the red block with eyes and follow the path upwards to the blue book.
Scroll #22 Inside the castle, top right corner
Glitchbird #5 Left side of the castle. Enter from the top side, as you can’t pass the guard from the bottom side.

Chapter 6

Scroll #23 Upper left area of the area with the gate that requires two keys
Scroll #24 Bought from the merchant
Scroll #25 In the dark cave section, bottom right
Scroll #26 While in 3D section, jetpack inside the mug
Scroll #27 Top left area, inside a tree
Scroll #28 On top of the stargazer
Trophy: “Star Walker“

There are two mugs present. The first one has a bunch of bulbs on the right-side area. If you walk towards area 2 with the candles and return to the first mug, the bulbs will be there again. Put the word cheesy inside the cavern to make the mushroom cheese.
Note: This area can be overlooked if you play with unlimited health.

Glitchbird #6 After you’ve unlocked the bombs from the wizard, go back a few pages and blow up the weed. Behind it is a glitchbird.

Trophy: “Cheese Pillar“
Take the word Cheesy from a few pages back and place it inside the cave.
Scroll #30 Bought from the merchant

Chapter 7

Scroll #31 Bought from the merchant
Glitchbird #7—It’s not accessible yet. You will return here after completing a big piece of chapter 7. You will be notified below.
Scroll #32 Behind the palm tree in the corner (This area is revealed by the little dude with the shovel)
Scroll #33 Inside the mug where you collect your first amber (3D section)
Scroll #34 After opening the gate, make your way towards the right. As you enter the red dinosaur, kill all rats and check the leg for this scroll.
Scroll #35 After the dino, you’ll come to this giant board where you need to enter through the portal. Instead, go all the way towards the right area.

Shortly after this you will obtain the bomb stamp. Allowing you to unlock Glitchbord #7 and various other collectibles.

Glitchbird #7 Enter the portal and go a few pages back. Collect the glitchbird
Scroll #37 In the cave. It’s in a dark section just before the end

Chapter 8

Scroll #39 Left side behind the fire
Scroll #40 Right side of the town, inside the pink building
Scroll #41 enter the portal inside the town and enter the 3D section. Walk towards the right and you will find the scroll behind some paintings and books.
Glitchbird #8 Left before entering the castle

Chapter 9

Glitchbird #9: Start of the chapter head into the yellow hidden path.
Scroll #42: In front of the closed gate head right.
Scroll #43: Still in the 3D section. As you pick up your gloves, head behind the painting stuff to the right
Scroll #44: This one is visible during the cutscene. Keep going forward instead of left and you will find your 44th scroll here
Scroll #45: As you make your way down with the sword, you can now cut down the trees and access a new area
Scroll #46: Destroy the Diamond Bust. This also unlocks “Bust Buster“
Scroll #47: Bought from the merchant
Scroll #48: Behind the pipes. Pick it up before you place the magnetic pipe there, you can’t reach it with the pipe in place
Scroll #49: Bought from the merchant (Make sure you bought all upgrades here too!)
Scroll #50: In front of the castle, take the path to the right
Glitchbird #10: Behind the pipe on the right.

WRETCHED RODENT!!!
SIMPLY INFURIATING

This trophy is part of the story and cannot be missed. It is earned during chapter 9 when completing the final mission with the mouse/rat for clearing the last datacenter.

Optimistic Explorer
Try jumping off the desk. Worth a go.

Jump off the table when outside the book (in the 3D world). This can be done in many chapters starting from Chapter 3.

Perfect Fish Grab
Catch Floatio on your first try.

Earned in chapter 4. Walk underneath the bridge and interact with the goldfish. Grab the goldfish on your first try in the following sequence.

Triumphant Squire
Defeat the nefarious sorcerer Humgrump.

This is earned for defeating the final boss. First you will need to complete the 3 mini games you’ve also done during the campaign. After that, you’ll be transported to the 3D section outside the book. You’ll need to grab the jetpack and you will be given a gun.

Now with the ability to fly and shoot, you will need to defeat the evil Humgrump. aim for the eyes to damage him.

Powerful Jot
Fully upgrade Jot’s abilities.

This is earned by buying all upgrades at the merchant. To do this, you will need to find enough light bulbs.

During Chapter 6 you can re-enter the mug and keep grinding light bulbs to get them without any worries early on. See the Roadmap above at chapter 6 for more details.

The latest you can buy upgrades is during chapter 9. Should you not earn this trophy, you may play New game+ and buy them during your second run.

Art Collector
Find all Art Scrolls.

Refer to the roadmap above for all information regarding the scrolls.

Saviour of the Glitchbirds
Rescue all Glitchbirds.
