Collect all Trophies

At the top
Win all sponsor races in a game

Sponsered races are unlocked by earning enough points in that chapter. You’ll need to finish first on all races anyhow, so don’t worry about not unlocking those races. The sponsor races are as followed:

Collect ’em all!
Unlock all characters

You will need to earn a gold medal on all races for the “At the Top” trophy. Unlocking all characters will be achieved then too. When you start a level, you will see a new unlocked character on the left side of the loading screen. Usually you need to finish in the top 1-3 to unlock them.

Grim Harvest
Have all players dead simultaneously

For this trophy, all people playing need to die at the same time. The easiest way to achieve this is to stand in front of an upcoming car. You may also stand on top of a lava crater that explodes from time to time. Level 1999 – 10 has a lava lid that could be used for this purpose.

Ecologist
Recycle 200 items in total

Items can be recycled by putting them in the green bin. Various levels have green bins present, but not all of them.
Here are a couple of levels you could (re)play in order to boost your amount:

Living Tanker
Refuel 50 canisters in total

In chapter 1977 you’ll need to refuel canisters in order to re-fuel cars. During 1988 you’ll get a moving refueling station that doesn’t count towards this trophy. Level 1977-04 has a canister present (for example).

Targa Cannon
Finish 70’s chapter

The 1977 chapter consists out of 12 levels, 01-10 and 2 bonus levels called Micheblade and Goodyearn. You’ll need to complete all 12 of them with a gold medal for the “Pit stop legend” and “At the top” trophies.

Cross Rally B
Finish 80’s chapter

The 1988 chapter consists out of 12 levels, 01-10 and 2 bonus levels called Firremi and Contirent. You’ll need to complete all 12 of them with a gold medal for the “Pit stop legend” and “At the top” trophies.

Initial Midday
Finish 90’s era

The 1999 chapter consists out of 12 levels, 01-10 and 2 bonus levels called Dunalight and Yokomote. You’ll need to complete all 12 of them with a gold medal for the “Pit stop legend” and “At the top” trophies.

Supergum GT
Finish 00’s chapter

The 2009 chapter consists out of 12 levels, 01-10 and 2 bonus levels called Brimstone and Hanktire. You’ll need to complete all 12 of them with a gold medal for the “Pit stop legend” and “At the top” trophies.

Pit stop legend
Win all regular races in a game

Win all races (first place) in the chapter 1977, 1988, 1999 and 2009. A total of 40 levels. Doing this solo seems a lot easier then playing in co-op, as timers expire a lot faster.

The Professional
Fix all cars in a level without the timer expiring (24 times)

Fix a total of 24 cars without having the timer expire (left top corner). This gives you bonus points.

No time to spare
Release a car last moment before the race finish

You will probably earn this trophy during the campaign. It unlocks if you release a car once the timer is red (last 10 seconds). You can prepare a car and just wait if you are having trouble unlocking this trophy.

Beginner’s luck
Win a race on your first attempt 5 times

Win a total of 5 races on your first try. Technically missable, but you can always start a new save files and replay the first level 5 times.

Diligent Student
Beat the tutorial

Beat the tutorial and learn yourself the basics of the game.

Young talent
Finish your first race

Win your first race, on level 1977-01.

Slap right now!
Slap Dominion 10 times in a single level

Dominion is an NPC available from chapter 3. He carries a sledgehammer and will demolish your cars. Slap him to prevent any damage to the cars.

Pit Crew
Win a race for the first time

Win your first race, on level 1977-01.

Full Tune-up
Win 20 races

Win a total of 20 races. You’ll need to earn a gold medal on all races anyhow.

Golden Boy
Unlock your first sponsor race

Each chapter has 2 bonus levels. You’ll need to beat all 8 bonus levels with a gold medal for the platinum.

Prestige Grows
Win your first sponsor race

Each chapter has 2 bonus levels. You’ll need to beat all 8 bonus levels with a gold medal for the platinum.

Stronger together
Perform a co-op action

This can be done by picking up an engine with 2 people.

Multiplying Efforts
Perform 30 co-op actions in a single level

A co-op action is for example carrying the engine of a car with 2 people.
Simple pick it up, drop it and pick it up again. Do this a total of 30 times to unlock this trophy.
Requires 2 controllers.

New me
Unlock a character

Complete level 4 of world 1977 by finishing first.

No Offense
Slap a teammate

Slap a teammate with triangle. Requires a second controller.

You Died
Die for the first time

Die for the first time.

Cursed
Die 13 times in a single level

The level 1977-Goodyearn has water you can into. This allows you to die quickly, racking up the 13 times.

Just as planned
Hit your teammate with a car

Release a car once it is fixed, have your teammate stand in front of it.
May also unlock if you kill yourself by releasing a car.

Activist
Put 20 items into the trashcan in a single level

Put 20 items into a bit on any level. A possible level for this is 1999-Dunalight.

Fuel Carrier
Refuel 15 canisters in a single level

This trophy is best earned playing with 2 people on the map 1977-05.
Doing this solo is nearly impossible, as you won’t have enough time to fuel 15 cars. Only one person may fuel up the canisters, otherwise the player won’t hit 15 canisters!

Do note that it is a bit RnG if cars spawn with empty fuel, so it may take a few tries. Big thanks to our German friend Hinsusta for helping us out!

Hammers’n’wrenches
Repair 15 broken parts in a single level

You will earn this trophy during the level 1977-08, as a lot of cars with “hammer-problems” will spawn.

BIG RED BUTTON
Release 20 cars in a single level

This trophy is best earned playing with 2 people on the map 1977-05.
Doing this solo is nearly impossible, as you won’t have enough time to release 20 cars. Only one person may press the red button, otherwise the player won’t hit 20 cars!

Do note that it is a bit RnG if cars spawn with fewer problems, so it may take a few tries. Big thanks to our German friend Hinsusta for helping us out!

Fire Department
Douse fire 20 times in a single level

Level 2009-01 comes with a lot of burning cars. Chances are you will earn this trophy during this level.

Ugh, Stinky!
Remove 15 pieces of junk in a single level

Slap a total of 15 pieces of junk from cars with triangle. Earnable in the level 1988-02.

Combo king
Get 4 combo modifier during the race

As you release cars without having the timer expire, you will build up a multiplier. 4x is the max combo you can achieve.

Bottom line
Finish last in the race

Stand idle while the timer expires, earning you this trophy. Best done on the very first level with the shortest timer.
