Welcome to the trophy guide for Matchbox Driving Adventures. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox One, Series X and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4/5 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Stage 1 – Adventure Mode.
Welcome to the trophy guide for Matchbox Driving Adventures published by Outright Games. The player can start with either stage, however most trophies are earned in Adventure Mode and this will require the most time and skill.
The main aim of the game is to complete all 30 missions. For each mission you will be given a Bronze, Silver, Gold Medal. You can also gain a Perfect if the player scores 100%, the medal grade is determined on the time it takes to complete the mission, in the missions that require picking up objects on how many of the objects the player picks up.
In order to Platinum the game you’ll need at least 3 Perfect scores for the Trophy “Matchbox™ Master”. Currency is awarded dependent on which Medal is earned and the player will need to gain a Gold Medal in almost all of the missions and a few Perfects in order to gain enough currency in order to own all 12 cars for the Trophy “Car Collector”. It is therefore advised to only buy one paint job for 5,000 in order to unlock the Trophy “Paint Job” and then purchase no more paint colours in order to reduce the grind for currency. The remaining trophies will unlock naturally as you progress through Adventure Mode.
Stage 2 – Competition Mode.
The two remaining Trophies “Champion!” and “We Have a Winner!” are earned in Competition Mode. Place 1st in a Competition Championship and a Competition race. Both can be done against AI on Easy or against friends on pads.

Collect All Trophies.
Vroom Vroom Plat Vroom
Airtime
Perform a jump.
Jumps award boosts and there are many jumps in the missions. Will unlock early on.
Boost Performance
Use boost to overtake at least 2 cars.
You gain boosts by going over jumps and drifting. Make sure the boost bar is full and the two cars in front of the player are close together and then press X in order to pass both of them in one boost.
Catch my Drift
Drift to fill your boost.
Press Square while accelerating to drift. Keep drifting until the boost bar at the bottom is full.
We Have a Winner!
Come in 1st place in a Competition in Competition Mode.
In Competition Mode, win a race. Can be played on easy against AI.
Paint Job
Unlock a new vehicle color and paint the vehicle with it.
Press Square on any of the hubs to enter the garage. In the garage, buy any paint, The cheapest pain cost 5,000. Then select that paint to apply it to the vehicle.
New Ride
Unlock a new vehicle in Adventure Mode.
Press Square on any of the hubs to enter the garage. In the garage, buy any vehicle. The cheapest car is the MBX Field Car – 50,000.
Burning Rubber
Complete any drive between Adventure Mode missions in less than 1 minute.
There are 16 drives in Adventure Mode, you will need to get good times in order to gain currency. To get under a minute, bump into the sides of cars to gain boost and drift also on corners. Should come naturally as you complete all drives for the Trophy Mission Accomplished.
Side Slide
Slide against the side of another vehicle to earn boost.
During the drives in Adventure Mode, bump into the side of another vehicle to gain a boost and this trophy.
Champion!
Earn 1st place in a Competition Championship.
In Competition Championship, place first after completing 4 races. Can be done on Easy against AI or against friends on pads.
Mission Accomplished
Complete all missions in Adventure Mode.
Complete all 30 Adventure Mode missions. Can get any Bronze, Silver, Gold or Perfect result.
Driving Dynamo
Complete all the drive routes between missions in Adventure Mode.
Complete all 16 drive routes. A time and the ability to skip the drive will show if the player has completed the drive already.
Matchbox™ Master
Complete 3 Adventure Mode missions with a Perfect Score.
To get a perfect score the player will need to complete the objective within a certain time. Times to get perfect scores are not shown but a percent sign will let the player know if they are close. Best to unlock cars that are faster, have better handling or boost before attempting a mission over and over.
Golden Gearhead
Complete 5 missions with at least a Gold Medal ranking.
To gain a Gold Medal ranking complete the mission objective within a certain time. Gold Medals are awarded for 90% and above. Will likely come naturally as you play the game.
Silver Speedster
Complete 10 missions with at least a Silver Medal ranking.
To gain a Silver Medal ranking complete the mission objective within a certain time. Silver Medals are awarded for 80% and above. Will come naturally as you play the game.
Car Collector
Unlock all the vehicles in Adventure Mode.
There are 12 cars, and they are the following:
Mail Truck – Free
MBX Field Car – 50,000
Swamp Raider -70,000
Dune Dog -125,000
Push ‘n Puller -150,000
Snow Trasher – 175,000
Terrain Trouncer – 200,000
MBX Urban Tow Truck – 250,000
Whiplash – 300,000
Ambulance – 400,000
Flame Tamer – 500,000
Sonora Shredder – Free
To gain currency, the player will need to obtain good race times as currency is awarded for Medal Ranks. There is not much room for Silver/Bronze Medals. The player will need to get mostly Gold and some Perfect Medal in order to unlock all of the vehicles as well as good times in the Adventure Mode drives.
