Welcome to the trophy guide for Islanders: New Shores. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox One, Series X and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4/5 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Stage 1 – Play High Score Mode.
You can only earn trophies while playing in High Score Mode. Start a new game in the High Score Mode and you will learn the mechanics, about the building item options, and the boons (bonus items). You will be given choices throughout the game for criteria like: what type of island, what could be on the island or the special boons, freedom to place items where you want if the game allows it, and how to take advantage of the boons.
Some building items will have positive affects, negative affects, and/or no affects at all on how they interact with other items on your island. There are two circle meters to fill per island and they are located in the opposite bottom corners of your screen. The left is for the build meter and the right is for island score meter.
As you earn points you will fill a build meter that shows you how much of the completion circle that you will end up filling and as complete it, you will be able to choose a new building pack. Open the building pack to unlock all the items contained inside.
You will also be filling the island score meter that will be filling as you earn points and are also rewarded boons at set intervals. Some islands will have more set intervals so that you can earn more boons on the island and, if applicable, this will be stated on the making your choice of island screen as Stellar. You will need to play through to the beginning of making the choice for island 16 in High Score Mode.
Through this guide any time you see the word “building” it will refer to any item that you can build with from your building bar.

Prophesized
All Trophies have been unlocked.
Congratulations on your shiny new platinum!

Architect
Build 240 buildings on the same island.
You will need to place 240 buildings on the same island. To do this you will need a large island map where you have enough space to fit them all on it. You can use wall plateaus, platforms, and terraces to help you fit more as long as you are on the island. Also, use the boon that will shrink the size of a building as often as possible.

Steadfast
Reach a draw limit of two buildings on one island.
On a very small island, you will need to place exactly two buildings to cover all the available land so that no other possible building could be placed on it.

Explorer
Explore 15 islands in the same run.
You will need to play High Score Mode and make it all the way to Island 16 in one run. You can make a manual save of your game and you will be able to close your game and return to your same run of High Score Mode. It does not need to be completed in one session. Depending on how you play – going immediately to the next island as soon as possible or using every item to earn the highest score – you will need to play until unlocking Island 16. It is best to create zones that are more beneficial so that you have buildings interacting positively with each while maximizing the boons to earn more points and building items. Refer to Stage 1 for Building and Their Interactions.

Deity
Reach a high score of 60,000 points.
You will earn this naturally as you play in High Score Mode as you will be keeping a running score going as you make your way through the needed 15 islands to be completed.

A New Challenger
Complete 4 challenges.
Note: This trophy is not a requirement to earn the platinum. This is part of the free Challenge Mode Pack 01 DLC included with the game.
You will need to complete all 4 of the challenges that make up the Challenge Mode Pack 01 DLC for this game.

Monarch
Reach a high score of 30,000 points.
You will earn this naturally as you play in High Score Mode as you will be keeping a running score going as you make your way through the needed 15 islands to be completed.

Adventurer
Explore 10 islands in the same run.
You will need to play High Score Mode and make it all the way to Island 11 in one run.

Planner
Place three buildings in a row scoring more than 60 points each.
While playing in High Score Mode you will need to place 3 buildings one after the other that score more than 60 points each. They do not need to be placed beside each other. Some of the buildings that can more easily give you 60 points or more are: Market, Aviary, Temple, Hermitage, Tower, Fortune Teller, Circus, etc. See the pictures below for more information.

Slow Burn
Reach a score of 1,000 without ever having more than 6 buildings in your building bar.
While playing in High Score Mode, you will need to start a new game and earn 1,000 points without having more than 6 buildings in your building bar. Place your buildings to earn points and do not open new building packs until you have almost or have used up all the buildings. Do not open more than 1 building pack at a time either. Also, use any boons to help you earn more points, but remember that you could earn more buildings with some boons so be careful to not make a choice of boon if it is a reward of buildings. The boons choice will remain the same until you have made your choice.

Scrupulous
Earn at least 2,000 points without scoring negatively once.
While playing in High Score Mode, you will need to earn 2,000 points while never having any negative scoring (minus negative (red) amounts of points). To do this never place buildings so that they will interact negatively with another or environmental item.

Fast Traveler
Reach island 7 in the “No time to dilly-dally” Challenge.
Note: This trophy is not a requirement to earn the platinum. This is part of the free Challenge Mode Pack 01 DLC included with the game.
You will have 30 minutes for this challenge where you will need to reach a minimum of island 7 of a possible of 12 in order to earn this trophy.

Constructor
Build 120 buildings on the same island.
You will need to place 120 buildings on the same island. To do this you will need a medium island map where you have enough space to fit them all on it. You can use wall plateaus and terraces to help you fit more as long as you are on the island.

Coordinated
Destroy 2 Sacred Rocks on an island at the same time.
While playing in High Score Mode, you will eventually have islands that will have Sacred Rocks on them. There will be at least one set of these Sacred Rocks that will be fairly close together that you can build around. As you build around them make sure that you are always earning the same amount of points from both Sacred Rocks so that when you reach the needed amount it will show that you will earn 40 points each when this final building item is placed. You will eventually destroy them both at the same time (earning 40 points per Sacred Rock) to earn this trophy. See the pictures below for more information.

Respectful
Beat an island without hiding any Trees or Flowers.
While playing in High Score Mode, you will need to beat an island without ever getting rid (hiding) any of the trees or flowers that were originally on the island. This is best to do on the first few islands as the amount of points needed to complete these islands is low compared to the higher islands. You can choose islands that are less likely to have as many trees and flowers on them like deserts and volcanoes. However, even with these islands you may need to avoid building in any areas that will cause the trees or flowers to be hidden due to the placement of a building.

Frugal
Have 5 unopened Boon packs on one island.
While playing in High Score Mode, you will earn boon packs at set intervals of points earned. You will need to have at least 5 boon packs on one island that you have not opened.

Central
Place a City Center in the vicinity of two other City Centers.
In High Score Mode, you will need to place a couple of City Centers near each other. You will earn this trophy as soon as you place a third City Center near these two.

Odyssey
Complete 3 islands with special properties in a single run.
In High Score Mode when you choose the island that you want to use for your island to build on, there are some that will say about special properties such as Aurora, Stellar, Ley Line, and Sacred Rocks.
Each of these will have the following affects:
1. Aurora – Boons also grant points when used.
2. Stellar – adds two extra boons to the island score meter.
3. Ley Line – earn points with the Ley Line for extra Sealed Boons.
4. Sacred Rocks – break the Sacred Rocks for extra points.

Forested
Place a Lumberjack that scores with at least 15 Trees.
In High Score Mode, you will need to place a lumberjack so that you interact with at least 15 trees.

Renovating
Demolish a building that removes at least 40 points.
In High Score Mode, you can be rewarded a boon that allows you to demolish any item that you have built. You will need to use the demolish boon on a building that when you destroy it that it will give at least 40 negative points. Buildings that will give this amount of negative points like a Hermitage. See the picture below for more information.

Guild Master
Place a Guild Hall that scores positively with at least 10 buildings.
In High Score Mode, you will need to plan out where you need to place the Guild Hall as this building will give 12 points for each built item that it interacts with. This means that you will need to have at least 10 buildings that are all different because any duplicate will cause negative 12 points to occur which you will need to avoid doing. See the picture below for more information.

Crammed
Place a Cliff House that scores with at least 20 other Cliff Houses.
In High Score Mode, as you progress through the islands you will eventually be able to use Cliff Houses. Cliff Houses are different shapes and you can place them so that you have a gap in the middle so that when you place one in the centre that it will score at least 20 points. You could also use City Centres, Monuments, etc. that is close by so that they will provide higher values of points for each Cliff House that you place so that you eventually earn at least 20 points for one of them. See the picture below for more information.

Islander
Reach a score of 1,400 on the first island.
In High Score Mode, while playing on the first island, you will need to place your buildings so that you earn a score of 1,400 points. You may have unlocked the ability to move to the second island, but you may need to continue to build until your score of 1,400 points is reached before moving on. If you cannot achieve this and only have the option to move to island 2, you should restart your game.

Traveler
Explore 5 islands in the same run.
You will need to play High Score Mode and make it all the way to Island 6 in one run.

Ruler
Reach a high score of 15,000 points.
You will earn this naturally as you play in High Score Mode as you will be keeping a running score going as you make your way through the needed 15 islands to be completed.

Puzzle Solver
Reach a score of exactly 100 points.
In High Score Mode, you will need to build on island 1 and get your score to be exactly 100 points. This can be achieved by using any combination of positive and negative points so that you do get a score of exactly 100 points. So if you go over 100 points then use negative points to lower your score to get it to 100 points.

Nice Spot
Earn at least 35 points from one building.
In High Score Mode, as you build you will eventually be able to score higher values for the buildings that you place. You can use boons to help boost your score for a build so that it is at least 35 points. For some buildings to score higher point values, you will need to leave gaps that are big enough for them to fit so that they score the desired amount. You can also use plateaus, terraces, water platforms, and wall platforms to get a building in a location that will give you this higher value of points.

Brilliant Position
Earn at least 75 points from one building.
In High Score Mode, as you build you will eventually be able to score higher values for the buildings that you place. You can use boons to help boost your score for a build so that it is at least 75 points. For some buildings to score higher point values, you will need to leave gaps that are big enough for them to fit so that they score the desired amount. You can also use plateaus, terraces, water platforms, and wall platforms to get a building in a location that will give you this higher value of points. Some buildings that can earn 75 or more are: Fortune Teller, Aviary, Market, Tower, Hermitage, Mountain Shrine, etc.

Perfectly Placed
Earn at least 150 points from one building.
In High Score Mode, as you build you will eventually be able to score higher values for the buildings that you place. You can use boons to help boost your score for a build so that it is at least 150 points. For some buildings to score higher point values, you will need to leave gaps that are big enough for them to fit so that they score the desired amount. You can also use plateaus, terraces, water platforms, and wall platforms to get a building in a location that will give you this higher value of points. Some buildings that can earn 75 or more are: Market, Hermitage, Mountain Shrine, Guild Hall, etc.

Tall Tale
Place a Fisher that earns points with at least 10 Fish.
In High Score Mode, there are sometimes circles in the water (where there is a fish) and you can use the venture boon to place up to 4 fish at a time. You can build an area that has at least 10 fish nearby so that when you place the Fisher, it will interact with a minimum of 10 fish.

Fortunate
Place a Fortune Teller with a base score of at least 60.
In High Score Mode, the Fortune Teller is a building that its base score is determined by how many other buildings are in your building bar. The more buildings you have in it, the higher the Fortune Tellers value. You can check what its minimum score is by hovering the Fortune Teller over an area that it does not interact with any other items to earn either positive or negative points. Once you have the base score of at least 60 points you will need to place it so that you still earn at least 60 points. You do not want its placement to cause its score to be lower than 60 points. You cannot use boons to boost the base score to 60 or more to earn this trophy, the base score must be valued with the method noted above. See the pictures below for more information.

Blessed
Use 8 Boons on the same island.
In High Score Mode, some islands will have more boons that are rewarded in the move islands meter so that when you have unlocked the ability to move to the next island, you will have received 8 boons that you will need to use. You could also have Sealed Boons from a previous island or earn Sealed Boons from Ley Lines that will increase the amount of boons that you normally would not receive. You will earn this trophy as long as you use a minimum of 8 boons on the same island.

Tactician
Earn at least 125 points from a single Level Up Boon.
In High Score Mode, as you play through an island, the build meter will fill with earned points. The build meter starts at 20 points and goes up by 5 each time you fill it. When you have reached 125 or more points needed to fill the build meter, you can use this boon to earn 125 points or more. Make sure that you will earn 125 points and not just complete the circle so that 125 points amount is completed on the build meter. It is also more advantageous to use this boon when you are near completion of the island or when you are running out of building items and you have not yet unlocked the move island meter.

Spectacular
Earn 3 Sealed Boons from a single Ley Line.
In High Score Mode, there can sometimes be a Ley Line or more on an island. A Ley Line will be 4 pillars with a stone that is hoovering above them in the centre. When you build close to a Ley Line to score points with it. You will need to build 8 positively scoring buildings (no negative points or it will reset) to light up the 4 pillars and the hoovering stone. This will reward a Sealed Boon. You will need to continue this process through playing this island so that you will end up earning 3 Sealed Boons from a single Ley Line. You can use these Sealed Boons whenever you want while playing an island otherwise Sealed Boons can be carried over to the next island or islands as you progress to higher islands. See the pictures below for more information.

Newcomer
Reach the end of your journey for the first time.
In High Score Mode, you will earn this trophy the first time that you fail to complete your island score meter fully so that a triangle appears beside it. This triangle indicates that you can move to the next island.

Interconnected
Place a Pyre that has positive scoring connections to at least two other Pyres.
In High Score Mode, some islands will have Pyres that you can build on your island. You will want to place your first Pyre so that it is in a higher area with lots of lines of sight to other points on your island. When placing a second or more Pyre, you can see a visible line of sight that will score you points with the other Pyre. Depending on where you place the second or more Pyres it will earn more points. Even though Pyres will score with other buildings, make sure that the third Pyre that you place will positively score with at least two other Pyres.

Fluttering
Place an Aviary that has a base score of at least 50.
In High Score Mode, the base score of it is determined by the buildings that it positively interacts with to earn points. With each new island that you travel and then build an aviary on, the score will continue to grow from its previous points earned.

You will need to build as fast as you can to complete the move to next island meter and also earn at least 15,000 points along the way to be successful. You will need to quickly assess an island and determine where to build certain types of buildings together so that you maximize the points that you earn with each item you place. You will need to use any earned boons to also help to boost your score along the way too.

Temple Trouble
Earn at least 900 points in the “Temple Trouble” Challenge.
Note: This trophy is not a requirement to earn the platinum. This is part of the free Challenge Mode Pack 01 DLC included with the game.
You will need to place a temple that scores at least 900 points on one island. You will earn building packs as you fill your build meter and you will earn boons as you fill your move to next island meter, however you will not be going to any other islands. To do this you will need to create quite a few plateaus, terraces, and wall platforms with preferably mansions (as they are worth more than houses or cliff houses) on each of the platforms so that the most possible will interact with the placed temple. You need to visualize that you are trying to score 900 or more points from the temple within a 3D sphere around it when placed. You can use boons like increase area or score multiplier to help boost your score as much as possible. You can restart this challenge as many times as you like so that you get an island you like.

Fully Stacked
Earn at least 4,000 points in the “Fully Stacked” Challenge.
Note: This trophy is not a requirement to earn the platinum. This is part of the free Challenge Mode Pack 01 DLC included with the game.
You will need to earn at least 4,000 points on one island where you will start with all of the buildings in your build bar. You will not earn any more building pack. You do not have a time restraint so you can take your time to plan out where to build certain buildings together and in any formation that will earn you the biggest amount of points as possible. Make sure to also use all the boons that are provided to increase your score as much as you possibly can. You should plan out and test the placement of buildings, how the boons interact, the order and arrangement of buildings, and try to maximize earning points all the time. You can restart this challenge as many times as you like so that you get an island you like.

Mayor
Reach a high score of 5,000 points.
You will earn this naturally as you play in High Score Mode as you will be keeping a running score going as you make your way through the needed 15 islands to be completed.

Protective
Create a closed loop of at least 3 Walls.
While playing in High Score Mode, you will eventually be able to build walls. You will need to use a minimum of 3 walls to create an enclosed area. The easiest way is to make a triangle with the 3 walls. Even though this game will allow you to make an enclosed rectangle with only 2 walls, this will not count for this trophy.
