Stage 1 – Complete the first 6 levels

Welcome to the trophy guide for ‘Into the Restless Ruines’. Those with a keen eye for indie games might have noticed that this game is from the same developer as “Dead end Job

Your first goal is to complete the tutorial level (Eorisdale). You’ll unlock the first level called ‘Clava Cairn’. You might not be able to clear this level at once. Don’t fret, it’s a roguelike dungeon crawler! You will unlock new cards, buffs and weapons as you keep exploring levels. As you unlock Cantrips you can make your run easier (or harder), and you will be able to best those dungeons.

For an easy run, you can equip the following cantrips:
1. Draw Full Deck -8 || Your full deck is drawn in to your hand every night
Unlock requirements: Play Entire hand in one night
2. Seals are Exits -5 || Claimed Seals also work as exit portals
Unlock requirements: Level 9
3. Unlimited BP -12 || You have unlimited Build Points
Unlock requirements: Have 10BP in one night

For level-specific trophies you only need to clear each level once. After that, you’ll need to grind EXP and unlock some misc. trophies.

Stage 2 – Grind EXP

After you’ve beaten all levels, you’ll need to grind some more EXP to unlock the final cards and Cantrips.
The advised set-up is as follows:

A Boon and a Bane
Have 5 Boon cards in your hand

This trophy can only be earned during the level “Brodgar”, which is the final level of the game.
You’ll get a boon for claiming a seal. This level has 5 seals, meaning 5 boons.

As your default hand only holds 5 cards, taking some Cantrips for this trophy is highly advised.
The following Cantrips are advised:

1. Draw full deck (-8)

This enables you to have many more cards, allowing you to stock up on the boon cards while still being able to play regular cards.

Prolific
Play 8 cards in one night with no Cantrips

To earn this, you can’t take any Cantrips with you.

The following cards will greatly assist you in playing multiple cards during the same night:
Blessing – Builder’s Blessing (Earned from clearing a seal)
Blessing – Bountiful Deck
Herb – Thief’s Dexterity (Bought from the Wulver)
Herb – Gravedigger (Bought from the Wulver)
Herb – Hard Craft (Bought from the Wulver)

Regular cards to increase drawing power:
Workshop(+) – Draw 1/2 cards and Corridors drawn cost -1 BP

Brodgar Survivor
Harvest the Brodgar Warden

The Brodgar Warden is the game’s final boss fight, which spawns in the level with the same name.

The boss has 2 phases;

Phase 1 – Corrupted Maiden
She shoots out bushes in a star pattern, which need to be destroyed in order for her to move around.
You can still reach/damage her while the bushes are up. Just keep in mind the small enemies that might come towards you.

During the second phase she will transform into her real form. The important gimmick here is that you need to destroy the 3 red trees that spawn around her. If you don’t, she won’t take damage.

Dread Harvest
Harvest the Warden of Clava Cairn with maximum Dread Multiplier

You’ll need to clear the level Clava Cairn with a Dread Multiplier of x8 (58 Dread)

This can be achieved by combining many negative Cantrips, but you’ll need a few big ones to achieve such a high multiplier.
The following ones are the least invasive and net you 42 points.
Boss Torch +6 || Torch keeps burning on Boss Fight
Corruption bar size down +2 || Bar size -25%
Double Upgrade cost +4 || The Hen Wife will charge you double the relics
Hen Wife Holiday +6 || Hen Wife doesn’t appear
Enemies move faster +4 || Enemies move +50% faster
Invisible Fog Rooms +4 || Fog rooms are invisible until you build within 2 spaces of them
Max Deck Size +5 || Maximum deck size of 10
No Boons +6 || Claiming a seal will not give you a boon card
No Redraws +2 || Redraws are completely disabled
Favours Discard +1 || New cards earned are added to your discard pile
Where Wolf? +2 || The Wulver will not appear

With these selected, you still need 16 points;
Double Enemies +6 || Twice as many enemies can spawn
Hardcore +8 || Die and your run is game-over
Start with no Torch +12 || Start the run with 0 torch
Toch Always close +10 || Your torch is always empty

Give it a few tries and figure out what negative buffs best suit you.

To get started, make sure you take the Cantrip “Double Cards” with you. This doubles the amount of cards you get for each level up.
You can take the “Easy” set with you, as defined above you make building a lot easier.
