Stage 1 – Walkthrough
To obtain the platinum trophy, keep the following things in mind when playing: – Collect all blueprints in chests (“Extreme Makeover: Ranch Edition” & “Arsenal“) – Complete all 4 ghost stories and select the correct answers (“Medium“) – Complete the full map (“Full Picture“)
At the end of the game you will reach the mother. Make a save to reload to obtain both “Goodbye” and “Forever”.
As you explore, loot all chests available. They will provide you with essential items for a smooth experience. Upon arriving at the Ranch, you will be able to build more buildings as you progress. This allows for self-crafted guns and resources such as Molotovs and ammo.
The Bunker
> Watch the cut scene > Loot the crates > Take the blueprint (bandage) from the picnic table Navigate towards the upper right of your screen > There will be some crates in front of the bunker. Hit these with your melee weapon and pick up the resources > Enter the bunker with the big writing “KEEP OUT!!!” on it > Talk with the NPC > Explore the bunker by crawling underneath the desk towards the lab >A. Restore power by crawling underneath the small vent shaft behind the control room > Interact with the PC on the desk >B. Don’t enter the big room yet; take the small door where the NPC stands and make save #1 > Walk into the big room and make some noise. You will get pulled, this will earn you the trophy: “Pointy Little Thing“ > Progress: Before you cross the bridge, grab the two blueprints on the wall (Gun + Bullets) > Open the safe on the wall with the code 1111 (Code is found on the bridge) > Cross the bridge and shoot the enemy > Enter the room. Crouch across and avoid the glass > Head left at the intersection and talk with the NPC again. > Enter the room and loot everything. Make sure to take the nailbomb blueprint from the table > Head through the door and loot the place > Head forwards and turn downwards. You will see a shotgun + bullets blueprint on the wall > Loot the chest next to it. Grab the key > Progress forward and exit the area using the key > You are back at the bunker entrance. Head left towards the STAFF area > Enter the area and crawl downwards. Be careful, as there is a creeper enemy

>A. There are a total of four rooms here, including one in the back. In the back is a code, which is 0451. This code is used in the first room on the right-side. You will enter a room filled with TV’s. Interact with it and grab the saw from the chest. Make save #2
Explore the area and loot chests without using too much resources. You just saved so dying here will respawn you back at the save point. Go for two trophies within this area: 1) Hit the grenade (weakpoint) in the back: “That’s the Spot“ 2) Use a trash can to lure an enemy: “One Man’s Trash“
> Walk back to the same room you’ve entered, upwards. > Turn left towards section 2 > Enter the next door. Crouch towards the backside and enter the vent shaft. >B. Saw the hand off. Loot the many resources found here > Go back to the same door you entered > Exit again untill you enter the room with the creeper and the sign SECTION 2 on it. > In the right back-side is a switch that restores power and opens up a door. Interact with it. > Go through the door and use the sawed-off hand to gain access to the second door > Talk to the NPC and exit the vault

The Ranch
> Follow the path and make your way to the ranch > Loot any crates on your way and in the ranch’s garden > Enter the building and talk to the woman. Head left and make save #3 > Interact with the bookcase and watch the cutscene > Question your aunt about the cutscene and exhaust the dialogue. > Enter the room on the right, pick up the blueprints > Head outside and interact with the workbench. Build all available buildings, including: Scrapyard, Chopping Block, Water Pump, Stove, Garden, Workbench
It’s time to gather some materials from these buildings. Put a bunch into the machines and head back to the bed. Here you can sleep and skip time to make the progress go further. Craft some useful items afterwards, like a bandage. Make save #4.
Ghost Story #1
> Head back downwards towards your uncle and the broken bridge. Talk to him, then fix the bridge. >A. Cross the bridge, head straight and a bit to the left. You will eventually find a rope near a rock that you can climb >B. Head up and complete the ghost encounter, head inside > Grab the blueprint from the table > Interact with the glowing skull
You’ve entered a new world! Good luck >:)! You can use your flashlight to interact with objects within the world and even kill some ghosts of sorts.
> Make your way forward until you reach a mast with a ladder. Pick up both collectables here to progress the story > Follow your way towards the left, you will need to move down and up a bit to follow the path > You will reach a building, pick up the collectable in the garden and enter the door. > The locker code is 0721 > Walk the hallway and pick up the collectable from the table. As you walk back, another collectable spawns in the next room on the left side > Exit through the door, and you will be outside again. Walk downwards until you see a well with a ghost. Collect the collectable > Continue straight, and you will see a woman beneath a lantern. Interact with the door and select 1. “Eddie’s friend, Walter, Killed Eddie” 2 “Yes” >A.>A.>B.
The Church
> You will teleport back into the regular world. Pick up the two blueprints from the chest. (Spear Launcher & Greenhouse) > Go outside and make your way back to the Ranch > Speak to your Uncle and tell him Eddie has been murdered > Ask if he needs help with the bridge repairs > Select “A ghost of some crazy priest” > Make save #5
>A. Head towards the broken bridge on the right side, fix it > Speak to the NPC > Make your way towards the boathouse. Loot the place and make save #6 > Interact with the boat but don’t use it to travel. > Make your way towards the right alongside the angel statues to reach the church. > Speak to Father Matthew > Head inside the church and speak to Father Matthew again. Use all dialogue. > Head to the backroom and collect the two blueprints (First Aid kit & Fence) > Make save #7

> Head outside and follow the main path alongside the angel statues > Halfway, you turn downwards, and there is a broken path of wood > Follow it until you reach a small island of sorts with a tent. You may need to kill a couple of enemies here > Continue towards the right. Once again you will reach a new area. On the bottom side is a house, which you can enter > Head inside and shoot the blue plants with green eyes > Open the chest with the code 2222 > Head into the basement and collect the blueprint (submachinegun) > Talk to the NPC

Ghost Story #2
>A. Head towards the right, where you will find the spiked bat blueprint > Interact with the glowing saw. This will trigger another ghost story > Move forward, interact with the saw and the things on its sides. > Move forward until you reach the flashing barrels, interact with it > Move inside the building, interact with the gun and cultist mask. > Move outside and follow the path back > At the glowing saw you were earlier, turn left. Use the lamp to kill the enemies > Continue a bit upwards and you will find another building > Pick up both collectables and interact with the safety switch next to the fireplace > Navigate back to the glowing saw and interact with the door behind it > Select “The Gang shot him” and select “yes”
> You are now back at the swamp. Pick up the two blueprints (Buzz Saw & Distillery) from the chest on your left. > Head back to the church > Speak to Father Matthew and the cult member > Make save #8 > Head back to the broken bridge you fixed at the start of this chapter. The cultist will be there and you just completed his quest. > Head back to the Ranch.

Bunker 2
> Make your way to the church > Go towards the back, there is a broken wooden bridge. Go upwards, use the rope and enter the bunker 2 > Loot the room, kill the enemy > Make save #9 > Enter the elevator, go to floor -1 >A. Take the first door on your right. Go straight ahead. Skip the door on the left, take the second door. > The middle door should be open, the side doors closed. Loot it, continue through the one-way door There is a workbench on your left. You may craft additional items >B. Open the big doors towards the right, there is a big window here. You will now reach a testing room with toys. > Make save #9. You will now encounter a hostile area for the upcoming 15 minutes. You will encounter more enemies than you are used to.

> Grab the taser from the corpse, hit the red button, shoot the electric box with the taser (“Electrician“) > Enter the next room, press both red buttons. > Exit the area through the broken area, go towards your left side (goes a bit upwards) where you see the door >A. Enter, follow the path down and head away from the big office. Here you will need to shoot an electrical box with the taser to open > Continue forward. You are now at the start area of floor -1 at the elevator again.

>A. Head upwards, you can now enter the room on the left you skipped earlier Be careful, enemies roam here > Power up both electric boxes with the taser, one on the left, the other on the right >B. Continue through the door; pick up the two blueprints (Water cooler & Electric Grenade) > Head back through the door you entered > Navigate towards the start area with the elevator. Go downwards towards the big office with the broken window. >C. On your upper side is a hatch, jump downwards

> Take the path on your left, you will see a corpse on the pipes here, go underneath > Take the right path and continue forward > At the intersection, turn left. This room is filled with the red creeping intestines > Crouch through the vent at the back. In the next room you can loot the keycard from the corpse and three blueprints (Vats, Taser, Battery) from the table > Move down and open the locked door, navigate upwards toward the intersection again. Turn right
>A. Open the door downwards, go through the water and take the door on the left. There is another locked door here, open it with the newly found key > Power up the generator >B. Navigate back upwards, where you just came from; now take the door upwards >C. Navigate the pipes, power up the second generator and restore power > Navigate back towards the elevator and pick floor -3 (doesn’t work), now select floor 0 > Make save #10

Make your way towards the big office at floor -1 > Interact with the PC, loot the elevator master key from the corpse > Navigate back to the elevator, go to floor -3. >B. Walk the hallway; pick up the blueprint (Battery charger) from the table > Interact with the TV, pick up the other blueprints (riot shotgun and Bean Bag) from the table > Interact with the vault; it’s locked > Go back to the elevator, go to floor 0 and navigate back to the church > Speak to Father Matthew

The giant hole
> Make save #11 >A. Navigate upwards, loot the container near the scarecrow for 2 fabric (You need them in a bit to craft a rope, you should have 3 now) > Loot some wooden logs from the rightside > In the middle of the cornfield is a bonfire. Talk to the NPC’s; gather 5 wood and provide it to him >B. Move upwards; you will find a treehouse. Interact with the boat (don’t use it) and climb the treehouse > Loot the place (Optional; make another save). Interact with the wall next to the bed > Climb down; move upwards until you encounter an apple garden of sorts. On the left of this is a farm with houses >C. Enter the farm on the left side. Gather the blueprints (Water tower & Hay Wagon). Exit on the left side again > Keep heading left, you’ll encounter a giant hole. You need a rope to climb down > Continue further left alongside the rails, and you will find a small house. > Enter, craft the rope (3 fabric). Craft any items you may need on your adventure > Make save #12>A.>B.>C.
> Return to the giant hole and enter. The locked code is 2022 (Gun part, needed!) > Enter the door on the rightside. Kill the two enemies. Open the electric door with your taser >A. Destroy the boxes, enter the shaft. Pick up the two blueprints (Stun grenade & Table) > Exit towards the left >B. You’ll see a corpse with the code 2022. Continue forward (left) and go through the door on the bottom side >C. Make save #13. Take the elevator downstairs. BOSSFIGHT
Use the electric switch once to enable power. Keep luring it through the electric area while shooting it with any guns of your preference. > After killing the boss, enable the three generators. >D. Move forward upwards. Grab the keys & blueprint (pumpaction) from the table. Exit towards the right door > Navigate back towards the entrance of the giant hole (Make another save along the way)

Navigate the fields
> Exit the cornfield towards the right, move downwards across the rails > Head left into the apple field. There is a blueprint (Flaregun & Flre) on the table >A. Like 3 meters ahead, you’ll see a goat. Interact with it. Kill the 2 spawned enemies >B. Interact with the newly spawned goat at the tree. Exit down and walk toward the right. You’ll see another cornfield with a big machine in it. Loot this chest for a blueprint (Parts) (The next mission is combat-heavy, you may visit the treehouse to make an additional save) > Head a bit downwards and you will find the bonfire inside a grainfield. Deliver the goat > Talk with both NPC’s and complete the dialogue. > Kill all the spawned enemies, loot all chests. A woman will appear > Head towards the tree house, make save #13 >C. From the treehouse, make your way towards the little house and open it with your taser. Pick up the blueprint (deerfeeder)

Ghost Story #3
>A. Head a bit upwards, towards the left. You’ll see a phone in the woods. Interact with it and you’ll experience another nightmare > Pick up the lamp and kill all spiders coming towards you. Follow the arrows towards your next objective >B. You’ll reach a house, enter it. Interact with the phone, read the paper that spawns > On the right of the elevator is a door, enter it. Interact with the phone > Enter the elevator and go to floor 1. Enter the room that glows upwards > Interact with the phone, kill all spiders with the lantern. Interact with the spawned paper on the table. > Exit, go to floor 2. Interact with the phone, read the paper >C. Interact with all doors. Enter the last door, you’ll see a ghost. Read the paper, then talk to her > Pick the convo option when interacting with the door “The ghost is a dead actress and the avenger”
> You’ll spawn back in the regular world. Loot the crate for the blueprints (Firecracker + Silenced 9MM) > Make your way back to the Ranch. Craft items if needed.

The mine
> Make your way to the Church. Talk to Father Matthew and the cult member. Pick the “Holding someone captive”, “Tell him where the house is” > Exit and go to the backyard of the church. Enter bunker 2 (You used a rope here some hours ago) > Go to floor -3 and open the safe. Pick up both items. > Go back to the church and speak to Father Matthew. >A. Make your way towards the initial starting point of the game. >B. Use a C4 to clear the path. Towards the left of this is a mine > Enter the mine. Move a bit forward and interact with the switch to activate the light

> On the table towards the left is another blueprint (Military backpack). Next to it is a tape #1 and a regular clue > Open the gate and continue forward. Beneath the white text “LIFT” is a chest with 4 grenades > Use one of these to open the barricaded path towards the right > Follow this path and make save #14 > Enter the room above the elevator and activate the generator. Craft items if needed > Go to floor -1, enter the room > Next to the TV is a tape player. Play tape #1 > Next to the TV on the left is tape #3. Play this tape too. > Pick up the blueprints (Single shot rifle & .223) in the back of this room >A. Exit and head further down into the mines. Follow the path towards the right. You’ll find a giant skull. Read the note
> From the screenshot >A. Take the path towards the right. At the intersection, go downwards (upwards is electric on the floor) > Keep heading straight until you see electricity on the floor and a switch. Deactivate it. Continue this path. > Continue left and throw a dynamite to clear the path. > You’ll find an electric box and a door. Hit the box with a taser to open the door > Pick up the single-shot rifle next to the tv.
> Exit the room and keep heading upwards. Keep heading up until you reach the electric path you skipped earlier. > Proceed and hit the switch to turn it off. > Proceed and take the right turn. Follow this path and head right, here you will find Tape #2 in a chest along with a note of the floor. > Now head left and crouch underneath the beams. Turn upwards and follow the lift signs until you reach the giant skull > Proceed and make your way to the elevator (lift) following the lift signs. > At the elevator, enter the room again and play tape #2.
> Make save #15 > Enter the elevator and head to floor 0. Make your way towards the entrance > On the left is a staff room with a locked door. Open it with code 0513 > Pick up tape 4 and play it in the same room > Exit the mine

> Make your way towards the cultists’ hideout > Talk to Nat in front of the bar. Go inside and speak to the bartender >A. Make save #15, exit. Speak to the cultist lying on the floor (towards the right side) >B. Go towards the centre of the cultist hide-out. Saving Mother
A>. Make your way towards the spider lair (See screenshot) > Kill the spider, head inside the bunker > Continue, then head right. Make save #17 > Head back and crouch under the rusted bars >B. Continue forward until you reach the railtracks with an enemy > Throw a grenade to clear the path, continue this path >C. Crouch underneath the rusted bars. Clear the path with a grenade > Enter the room with a fence, clear the enemy near the electric on the floor > Pick up the handle from the cart in the corner > Exit the same way you came and turn left at the intersection of >C >D. Keep heading forward > You’ll reach a baricaded door, throw a grenade to clear it > Enter the mine and crouch underneath the small opening > Open the door and head left. Kill the red enemy spawner > Head left again and enter the door. You’ll enter a room with giant green pipes > Go straight and shoot the enemies. Exit through the door > Continue straight and crouch underneath the rusted pipes. Use a grenade to clear the barricade > Be careful for the enemy, turn right. Pick up the blueprint from the chest and the clue on the table > Head straight ahead and exit via the door. Kill the enemy spawner, speak to the NPC. > Go forward and forward again through the door. > Make the final save, you’ll be reloading this one for “Goodbye” and “Forever“
