Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4/5 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Stage 1 – Complete the game.
Welcome to the trophy guide for Goodnight Universe, an indie adventure game from Developer Nice Dream Games and Publisher Skybound Games. Thanks to Chapter select no trophies are missable and they can all be cleaned up pretty quickly. Therefore decide if you’d like to play through the game blind avoiding any spoilers the guide might give away first. If not then the trophies are earned in the following chapters by doing the following actions. The ‘Helping Hand’ chapter will need to be replayed as one trophy is awarded for nudging Orson the dog and one trophy for not nudging him.
Helping Hand – Can easily farm Cry/Laugh five times, Nudge and don’t nudge Orson and complete all chores
The Train Set – Fail the train test there times and skip the level.
Gilbert The Car – Pop all the balloons, let the car crash three times.
The Secret Mission – make it to Elliott’s office without getting spotted by the robots.
The Decision – Don’t save Isaac just let the counter run down.
Showdown – Choose to send a message home.
Goodnight Universe
Obtain all the trophies.
Phone Home to let them know you unlocked a Platinum trophy.
PETA Notified
Nudge Orson.
In the chapter Helping Hand one of the chores is to feed the dog. After opening the dog door, Orson will start walking towards the food slowly, use your powers on it to earn the trophy.
Baby Gamer
Pop all balloons.
In the chapter Gilbert The Car, pop all the balloons, including the ones that spell out ‘Welcome Isaac’ by pressing R2 on them.
The Babe Who Stares At Goat
Let Gilbert hit the wall over and over.
In the chapter Gilbert The Car, let the car crash three times until the trophy unlocks.
Cry Baby Cry
Cry five times.
At certain points in the game, a face will appear on the screen and encourage the player to use the left stick, press up to laugh for the Trophy “Bottle Half Full” and down to cry for Trophy “Cry Baby Cry”. A good place to farm this is the chapter Helping Hand as at the start of the chapter there is a chance to cry or laugh.
Bottle Half Full
Laugh five times
At certain points in the game, a face will appear on the screen and encourage the player to use the left stick, press up to laugh for the Trophy “Bottle Half Full” and down to cry for Trophy “Cry Baby Cry”. A good place to farm this is the chapter Helping Hand as at the start of the chapter their is a chance to cry or laugh.
Remains of the Playmobil
Complete all chores.
In the chapter Helping Hand, complete the following chores:
Do the dishes.
Feed dog.
Clean up toys.
Close cabinets and drawers.
Fold laundry.
Big Boss Baby
Get to Elliot’s office undetected.
In the chapter The Secret Mission, avoid all the robots to make it to Elliot’s office.
Time Valuer
Use the skip level feature.
During the chapter The Train Set, let the train crash until an option to skip the level appears. Select Yes.
Leave, Murph!
Abandon Isaac.
One of the endings. In the chapter The Decision an option to ‘Save Isaac’ will appear. Choose to let the timer count down. The alien will leave Earth.
ET Phone Home
Send a message home.
During the end of the chapter Showdown, choose to ‘Send a Message Home’.
You Can’t Pet the Dog
Don’t nudge Orson.
In the chapter Helping Hand one of the chores is to feed the dog. After opening the dog door, Orson will start walking towards the food slowly. don’t use your powers on it to earn the trophy.
