Welcome to the trophy guide for Fred & Jeff: The Atomic Sulfate. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox One, Series X and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4/5 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Originally developed as a pest repellent the atomic sulfate can turn insects into giants.

And now has been stolen! The world is in danger! Join our heroes in their quest to bring it back from the inside of a tyrant’s fortress.

Infiltrate, find the spray and come back home with it in this point and click style game.

Stage 1 – Complete the game.

Welcome to the trophy guide for the game “Fred & Jeff: The Atomic Sulfate”, a game by “Erbe Software” and published by “Ratalaika Games”.

This is a relatively short point and click adventure. Just follow the text walkthrough below to get the Platinum Trophy quickly and efficiently. At the top of the screen, you’ll find the different ways to interact, such as “PICK UP”, “TALK”, etc. With the circle button, you can access your inventory, where you can also access the actions. Press the circle button twice if you have activated an item or interaction but want to get rid of it.

Text Walkthrough:

  • Once you have control, press Circle to open your inventory and INSPECT the books to earn “A Hundred Ways to Cook Eggplants“.
  • PICK UP Jeff ten times in a row for “No, I’ll Get Tired“.
  • TALK to the Guard and select: “Good morning. It’s me, your downstairs neighbor.“
  • OPEN the car, PICK UP any Wire and try to connect it with some of the others at the bottom. It’s randomized which will work. This grants “Grand Car Thief“.
  • TALK to the Guard again and repeatedly choose Option 2 (The Insult) until you are arrested.
  • Switch to Jeff by clicking his portrait. PICK UP the phone and click ‘Alcachofa Soft‘ for “Technical Support“. Then “Oops, wrong number, sorry!“.
  • PICK UP the phone again, click ‘Oficina T.I.A.‘, and tell them: “We’ve been thrown in the dungeons in Bruteztrausen’s palace.“
  • Switch back to Fred.
  • INSPECT the barred window, then PICK UP the Fishing Rod and the Bar File.
  • Open your inventory, select the Bar File, and use it on the Window Bar (the metal bar itself, not the window) three times to earn “Foiled Escape“.
  • To get out, OPEN the door hatch, use Sulfate Spray on the spider, use the Fishing Rod on the keys, and finally use the Keys on the lock for “Escape Artist“.
  • Step through the door and INSPECT Fred to unlock “Mr. Universe“.
  • Head up the stairs and INSPECT painting (1/5).
  • Move left and go up the stairs to INSPECT painting (2/5), then move left slightly to INSPECT painting (3/5).
  • Go up the stairs and OPEN the W.C. door. PICK UP the Toilet Paper (press Circle twice to deselect) and leave.
  • Go downstairs and OPEN the door on the left to enter the kitchen.
  • PICK UP the Microwave and the Spark Lighter for “Careful, Stranger“.
  • Move Fred away from the oven, OPEN the left-most knob, and use the Spark Lighter on the top-left burner for “Just Missing the Frying Pan“. Use the Toilet Paper on the cooker.
  • Go downstairs and move right into the open room. PICK UP the outlet and use the Microwave on it to earn “Safety Tips“.
  • You’ll be arrested; just use the hatch and keys to escape as before.
  • Go up two flights and use Toilet Paper on the Alarm above the second door on the left.
  • Go down and move right into the open room. Use the Microwave on the outlet once more.
  • Exit, get arrested, and escape.
  • Go up three flights and OPEN the door to the right of the W.C. Enter, get arrested one last time, and escape the cell.
  • Go upstairs and to the right to find the computer. INSPECT it and turn EVERYTHING OFF under ‘Electricity‘.
  • Go up two flights and OPEN the left door. INSPECT the final two paintings (4/5 and 5/5) for “Art Lover“.
  • INSPECT the keypad and enter 57432.
  • Go through the wardrobe, OPEN the drawer, and INSPECT it to find the Invoice. INSPECT the Invoice in your inventory.
  • Leave and go to the room under the alarm. Bring Jeff to this same room. Move Jeff onto the out-of-place purple tile, then follow this sequence: 4 squares Left, 2 squares Right, 1 square Back, 2 squares Left, and 1 square Forward.
  • Switch characters and PICK UP the Atomic Sulfate.
  • OPEN the door, PICK UP the Portable Hole, and use it on the wall for “Does This Work?“.
  • PICK UP the worm from the bottom left.
  • Move right to the cave, switch characters, and enter. Use the MOVE icon (the palm) on the “Darkness” several times until you exit for “Can’t See Three on a Donkey“.
  • Move right to the river, combine the Worm + Fishing Rod, and use it on the water to get a Fish.
  • Move right one screen, INSPECT the bushes, and PICK UP the bushes to hide.
  • Switch characters, go to the bushes, and INSPECT them for “Sleepius Fastus“. Then talk to the bushes.
  • Move both characters to the house in the background. Go behind the house, combine the Fish + Sleepius Fastus Flower, and give it to the Bear.
  • Move one character left and the other right. OPEN the back door but don’t go in.
  • Switch to the other character and OPEN the front door. While the conversation is active, switch back to the character at the rear (do not pick a dialogue choice) and enter the house.
  • PICK UP the Special Grease from the shelf and leave.
  • Switch back to the front door character and say: “Oops, wrong cabin, sorry!”
  • Combine the Special Grease with the Axe.
  • Go back to the river and use the Axe on the tree for “Improvised Bridge“.
  • Finally, use the Atomic Sulfate on the anthill to finish the game and earn “Mission Accomplished“.

Art Lover
Look at all the paintings in Bruteztrausen’s place.

Inspect all 5 paintings in the Bruteztrausen’s place.

  1. ​1st Floor: Top of the first stairs.
  2. ​2nd Floor: Far left.
  3. ​2nd Floor: Slightly right of the previous one.
  4. ​& 5. Bedroom: Inside the room to the left on the top floor.

Improvised Bridge
Cross the river.

Story related. Obtain the Special Grease from the house and the Axe from the forest. Combine them in your inventory, then use the greased Axe on the tree by the river.

Sleepius Fastus
Learn about the plant.

Have one character hide in the bushes (one screen right of the river). Switch to the second character, walk to the bushes, and INSPECT them.

Can’t See Three on a Donkey
Go through the Super Dark Tunnel.

Enter the “Túnel del Lechuzo.” Use the MOVE icon (the hand/palm) on the Darkness several times.

Does This Work?
Escape the palace using the portable hole.

After solving the tile puzzle and getting the Atomic Sulfate, pick up the Portable Hole from the shelf and use it on the wall to the left.

Mission Accomplished
You finished the game.

Story related. After crossing the river, simply use the Atomic Sulfate on the large Anthill to trigger the final cutscene.

Mr. Universe
You made Fred dress up as a bodybuilder.

Once you have stepped out of your cell and into the hallway, simply use the INSPECT command on Fred himself.

No, I’ll Get Tired
You made Fred tired 10 times.

Stand near Jeff and use the PICK UP interaction on him repeatedly. You must do this 10 times in a row before interacting with anything else.

Foiled Escape
You tried to break out of jail using the file.

As Fred, pick up the Bar File from the cell. Open your inventory, select the file, and use it specifically on the Window Bar (not the window frame) until the file snaps.

Grand Car Thief
Get the car and reach Bruteztrausen’s palace.

Story related. Open the car outside the house and pick up any wire. Try to connect it with some of the others at the bottom. It’s randomized which will work.

Just Missing the Frying Pan
You made Fred dress up as a cook.

In the kitchen at Bruteztrausen’s place, turn the left-most knob on the oven, then use the Spark Lighter on the burner. Finish by using the Toilet Paper on the flames.

Safety Tips
Listen to the firefighters’ warning.

Go to the room on the bottom right at Bruteztrausen’s place. PICK UP the outlet and then use your Microwave on it to trigger a scene and get arrested.

Technical Support
Call the Alcachofa Soft team.

While in the cell as Jeff, pick up the phone and select the contact ‘Alcachofa Soft’.

Careful, Stranger
You made Fred dress up as a cowboy.

Enter the kitchen at Bruteztrausen’s place and PICK UP both the Microwave and the Spark Lighter sitting on top of the oven.

A Hundred Ways to Cook Eggplants
Examine the cookbooks.

At the very start of the game, before leaving the house, open your inventory with Circle and select the INSPECT option on the stack of books.

Escape Artist
You escaped from jail.

Story related. Open the door hatch, use the Sulfate Spray on the spider, then use the Fishing Rod to grab the keys. Finally, use the Keys on the door lock to exit.
