Welcome to the trophy guide for Devil Jam. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox One, Series X and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4/5 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Stage 1 – Roadmap to platinum

Grab your guitar and shred some loud vibes, as you will need to defeat Death himself to please the Devil! On your journey towards the platinum trophy, keep the following in mind:

– Reach level 60 with each character (Falco, Amy and Lydia)
– Use a couple of skills for a trophy
a. Consume To Exhume
b. Bullet with your Name
c. Kickstart my heart
d. Green vision
– Kill x amount of specific enemies. You do not influence what will spawn, so just play.
– Please do keep an eye out for imps ( “Brass Beatdown“) as they spawn rarely, and you’ll need to kill a total of 5.000 units. Making it the final trophy you wil most likely earn during your platinum attempt.
– For the trophy “Redfog“, you’ll need to unlock a certain skill. It’s available after killing 50 Drum Snails. These monsters don’t spawn too often so make sure to kill them when you see them.

Note: Version 1.0 has the trophy “Beyond V” (Complete run at difficulty level 20) glitched. This will trigger at difficulty level 2. The guide, difficulty, and time to platinum are (positively) affected by this glitch.

The quests (interact with the devil in HQ) serve as your completion level and unlock new sins and items. Make good use of these upgrades by visiting the devil from time to time and unlocking them at the merchant.

Celestial Completion V
Complete all other quests

Boss Shredder III
Defeat Death

Death is the final boss within a run and spawns at minute 20:00. A run will be completed upon defeating him.

Death has a couple of attacks, but like all bosses within the game, they are fairly easy:

Channel attack: Death starts channelling at a fixed point and spawns a lot of enemies. This is a fairly large window to get free damage.
After the channel is complete, everything is knocked back, but no damage is inflicted.

Forward dash: Death dashes forward and deals damage
Sweep attack: Death attacks at a 90-degree angle to any position. This can be dodged by using a dash sideways
V-Attack: Death summons circular attacks at a V-formation moving inwards.
X-Attack: Death summons circular attacks at an X-formation moving outwards.

Beyond V
Complete a run at difficulty 20

Version 1.0 has the trophy “Beyond V” (Complete run at difficulty level 20) glitched. This will trigger at difficulty 2. The guide, difficulty, and time to platinum are affected by this glitch.

However, should this get fixed, refer to the information below:
The difficulty starts at level 0 and can be changed at the jukebox in HQ. Upon completing a run with the latest difficulty, the next one will unlock. So this means you will need to complete 21 runs to beat difficulty level 20.

This quest can be found in the 3rd tab, “Worship Decay,” in the 6th column, row 4.

The ability itself is part of the Sin Gluttony (Dog). Consuming a health pickup deals damage around you. This skill scales well with the ability ‘Sun Eater’ as it may drop extra health relics.

Celestial Completion IV
Complete 100 quests

There are a total of 180 quests available for you to complete. So you’ll need just a bit more then 50% to unlock this trophy. The available quests and their progress can be seen by interacting with the Devil at HQ.

Quests also unlock new content that will make your runs easier, so make sure to visit the Devil from time to time.

Boss Shredder II
Defeat T2 boss

A tier 2 boss spawns at 14:00 and is slightly stronger than a tier 1 boss. The spawn pool of bosses is the same for T1 and T2. However, if one spawns at T1, it will not spawn again at T2.

The available bosses are:
1. Carlos
A death priest with control over various hands which will attack you. Their attacks are predictable. Standing between the red lines and dodging the hands is your best chance at an easy win.

2. Meggy and the Speggies
An oversized harpy lady who plays a keyboard of some sort. She will shoot out melodies which may damage you. She will also spawn 2-3 creeps, which can be easily killed. 2 bats will pull her up from time to time, allowing her to briefly disappear and perform a slam attack.

3. Brutus
A one-eyed troll wielding a guitar. Unique for this boss is the soup-stations that spawn health relics from time to time. Destroying these will disable this effect.

Select the sin when available and keep destroying the flowers.

The specific quest needed is found in the 5th tab, called “Chaosphere Expertise” and is listed in column 2, row 2.

The skill itself is a summon weapon and is best combined with the skill “Metropolice” from the sin Pride.

Are you Dead Yet?
Trigger the bonus damage of ‘Bullet with your Name’ 300 times on infected enemies

To unlock this skill, you’ll need the sin called “Pride”.
This is unlocked by:

2. Defeating 250 imps
3. Destroying 300 breakables
4. Complete 50 quests

You can find this quest on the 6th tab called “Death’s decline” on the 4th column, 1st row. When you unlock it, purchase it at the merchant.

My Curse
Maintain the maximum amount of stacks for ‘Kickstart my Heart’ for 60 seconds

Dealing 20.000.000 damage in a single run will unlock the sin ‘Sloth’.

‘Kickstart my Heart’ is a passive ability from the sin ‘Sloth’. Standing still will start HP regeneration. It may be combined with many skills such as ‘Black Hole’, ‘Ice Queen’, ‘Rock of Ages’ and ‘Psychosocial’ to inflict a lot of slow status effects on enemies. If you are having trouble surviving for 60 seconds, make sure to play on difficulty level 0.

Debonaire

Green vision can be unlocked by doing the following:

1. Level up sinkfist to Demonic

The best way would be to play at difficulty level 0 and restart after the imps spawned on either map.

Drum nails are also fairly rare, but you’ll only need to kill 50 of them. Keep in mind that this quest will also unlock the final map called “Thorns of Crimson Death”.
