Welcome to the trophy guide for Cat Quest 3. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox One, Series X and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4/5 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Stage 1 – Complete the game 100%.

Welcome to the trophy guide for the game Cat Quest 3, a game from GentleBros. Just like the predecessors of the series, you have to play 100% to get the platinum trophy. Feel free to play on Easy so that hard islands can be done sooner. It doesn’t matter if you want to dedicate yourself to the story first or just want to explore everything, because both have to be done. If you play the story first, you can simply press continue again, leave the boss dungeon and continue exploring the world. Watch out for a weird guy hiding somewhere on your travels, especially if you’re following the story. Talk to him to get more mana.

All sidequests, all equipment for the character and the ship have to be collected, all bounties have to be claimed and a few puzzles have to be solved. Few things aren’t obvious, like some items dropped from enemies, a secret passage at the bottom left of the map, or the weird mushroom from the Infinity Tower. Armeowry Furshionista
Collected all equipment in the Purribean.

You should receive this trophy once you’ve done everything else. There may be still a few pieces missing, as there are items that are only dropped by certain enemies, as well as a weird mushroom that is only available in the infinity tower, whose drop rate is not exactly high. It will be in any Boss’s chest.

You also need bird poop. You can get this by beating the parrot to heal until it flies away.

There is a secret place where there are 3 pieces of equipment. Take the ship to the bottom left corner of the map; there you will see a hole in the bottom edge. Drive through it and follow the brighter water until you see grey figures and complete their quest.

These items will be dropped randomly by specific enemies:

Ice Crystal | Dropped by Ice enemies. You can find them in the Ice Pi-rat Hideout on Straits Island.
Bomb Satchel | Dropped by enemies around Purricade Island.
Flame Crystal | dropped by the fire enemies on Main Sunset Islands.
Electric Circuit | dropped by enemies in orion’s ruins or electro enemies.

Before grinding enemies for specific loot, you should first take care of the weird mushroom, as some things can also be dropped there.

Paws Over Tentacles
Defeated Cathulhu, the menace of the ocean.

Cathulhu is a high-level optional Boss located in the northeast corner of the map. Since this boss is linked to a sidequest, see “A Painful Pawst, Avenged” for more information.

My North Star was Always You
Found the North Star Treasure!

Story related. This trophy is unlocked after the last boss fight.

Quack Goes the Ducky
Defeated the Duck of Doom, the ruler of the seven seas!

The Duck of Doom is a high-level optional Boss sailing everywhere on the map. To defeat him, you should have your ship very well equipped. Just drive right behind him the whole time and shoot your whole arsenal at him.

Purroblem Solver
Completed all 12 sets of puzzle stones!

There are 11 small puzzle stones and one with large pillars scattered throughout the map.

Sandy Island	Activate them all real quick. (With fire spell or Sword)
Purvanna, near the Cat face Mountain	Activate them in the following order: II, V, III, IV, I, VI.
Straits Island	Shoot them all once from down to up.
Long island	Activate them in the following order: Down, up, left, right.
Purvanna, above the monster researcher	Activate them from the smallest to the biggest.
Sunset Islands	Activate them in the following order from left to right: 4, 5, 1, 2, 3
Sunset Islands (West)	Activate them with your ship from I to IV.
Purvanna, Polaris Ruins	In this story dungeon there are 3 small puzzles, all of which have to be solved with magic.
Whole map	Activate the big ones in the following order: Long Island, Lovepurr Islands, Sunset Islands, twilight Isles, Furggy Island

Happurrly Ever After
Witnessed the Purrmaid find her Prince Charming!

To find the Purrmaid, sail north to the Sunset Islands. Approach her small lake from the north and fire your ship’s cannons at the barrier. She will then grant you the Shell Phone, a device that can reveal hidden treasures at Sea. There are eight whirlpools in total to explore. After collecting all eight treasures, return to the Purrmaid to complete the quest.

A Painful Pawst, Avenged
Completed the Mama Milka questline!

To initiate Mama Milkas questline, return to her the Jug o’Milk, a buried item located on the Purrier Beach to the right of Pawt Purvanna. Interact with the magic stone on the far left of the beach first. She’s the tavern owner in Pawt Purvanna. She will task you with defeating Cathulhu, a high-level boss situated in the northeastern corner of the map. Upon defeating Cathulhu, return to Mama Milka to complete the quest.

No Necromeowncy Here!
Completed the Mage Bonny questline!

To initiate Mage Bonnys questline, return the Voodoo doll to her. The doll is hidden on Sunset Islands on a small island behind a red Bush. But first, you have to interact with the magic stone on the main island. Afterwards she asks you to bring the Book of Necromancers to her, which you can find on the Twin Islands in the Twin Castle after the boss is defeated there.

Meowsterwork
Completed the Kidd Cat Questline!

To initiate Kidd Cat Questline, return the hammer back to him. This buried item is located on Insel. Drive towards the island from the north and interact with the stone there. Now drive around the island and in to the save point and to the left of it the hammer is buried. Next, you have to look for a dragon bone, which you can get after the boss fight against the pirate king on the furggy islands.

Furry Shield	From Bonney at the Magic Bone – talk to her after clearing the Infinity Tower.
Firepurrism	Defeat the boss in “Fire Pi-rat Hideout” on Sunset Islands.
Flamepurr	Owned from the start.
Freezepaw	Defeat the boss in “Ice Pi-rat Hideout” on Straits Island.
Healpaw	Start the Lovepurr Chronicles Quest and talk to Clawford. You’ll find him on Lovepurr Islands.
Icepaw	Give the voodoo doll to Bonney. The voodoo doll can be found on a small island just east of the main Sunset Island in a bush.
Lightnyan	Talk to Bonney at the Magic Bone on Pawt Purvanna for the first time.
Lightwhisker	Defeat the boss in “Orion Ruins Tower” on Furtigua. Story related.
Mewteors	Defeat the boss in “Antares Ruins Tower”. Story related.
Pawer Up	Finish the side quest from Bonney. For more information, see the trophy “No Necromeowncy Here!“.

Found all hidden items!

Love is Furever
Completed the Lovepurr Dungeon!

To complete this quest, 3 books must be found and then completed in the Lovepurr Dungeon, on the Lovepurr Islands. The books can be found in caves, where there is a path of pages. The first book is on Twilight Isles, the second on Purvanna and the third on Lovepurr Islands. Once you’ve returned all the books, choose the following choices:

Book 1:

Approach the cat

I-I’m sorry… I don’t doubt that!

Book 2:

Devise a plan
Sneak their way to the raiders’ captain
W-Who are ye…?

No! Meeting Purrscilla has changed me for the better! I will protect her!

Book 3:

Grab Purrscilla and escape
*Squeak* M-My love, I’m just glad you’re safe!
I-I did what I could to save mom and dad…
P-Purrscilla… I can explain…
*Squeak* W-what ye doing? Yer my only family left too!

Defeat Clawford.

Purrsitively Golden
Completed the Golden Tower.

To the north of Purvanna is the golden tower. Drive through the small river through the island so that the barricades can be blasted away to gain access. To complete the golden tower, 4 golden keys must be collected and these are hidden in coins. These are scattered all over the world. After finding all the keys, go back to the tower and complete each floor and defeat the boss at the end.

Key is located between the Twin Islands and Furtigua.
Key is located on Sunset Islands on a small island with some coins.
Key is located on Furggy Island below the Pirate King’s hideout.

Completed the 8-bit dungeon.

The 8-bit dungeon is located at the top left of the map near the Sunset Islands. Take the ship to the middle of the maze, blast away the barricades and enter the dungeon. Defeat the boss and collect all chests.

Furry Spicy yet Supurr Sweet
Defeated Captain Takomeowki, the leader of the Spicy Squids!

Story related. Defeat Captain Takomeowki near the end of the game.

Opened 80 Treasure Chests!

This trophy comes naturally. Open every treasure chest you see. For the platinum, almost all treasure chests have to be opened anyway to get equipment and improvements.

Rock on, Supurrstar!
Defeated Captain Meowtallika, the leader of the Meowtallika crew.

As the story progresses, you’ll receive a concert ticket from Meowtallika after defeating his minions. Then go to Meowtallikas concert on Purvanna to defeat him.

Ship Mewster
Collect all the Ship Blueprints

You’ll find all of the ship’s blueprints during your “complete everything” run. They are in treasure chests, are dropped by bosses and one can be obtained through Mama Milka’s side quest.

King of Pi-rats No More
Defeated the Pi-rat King, the leader of the pi-rats.

This is a high-level boss. You can find the Pirate King at the bottom left of the map on Furggy Island. Enter the Pi-rat King Hideout and defeat him.

Bounty Domiewnator
Claimed all wanted poster bounties!

To earn the bounty-collecting trophy in Pawt Purvanna, you’ll need to find and complete eleven bounties. These can be found by interacting with posters in the tavern and opening the chests that appear. While many of the bounties are tied to the main storyline, there are also optional ones to discover.
