Welcome to 28 Days Train Wreck Survivor trophy guide. Stranded after a brutal train crash, your survival begins now. You wake amidst twisted metal and shattered carriages, trapped between steep cliffs and a vast lake. With only your wits and determination, you must explore, gather, and fight to stay alive for 28 days — until rescue arrives. Every decision counts. Every resource matters. Will you endure or get all the trophies and never know what happens?
Stage 1 – Play the game.
You will need to follow some of the beginning missions to learn basic concepts and make certain items. This is very important because you will need to go to the village you past to find the compass and map inside one of the houses. Next you will need to do what the missions say so that you can unlock more missions, like: Find the Crowbar, find the Wrench, find the Bolt Cutters, and make a Decoder. Most of the trophies will be for hunting certain animals, crafting items, and cooking food. The last few are miscellaneous types of trophies and you unfortunately do not need to complete the story or survive 28 days.
Note: This game is has a cross save feature. If you like, you can first complete the PS4 version of the game and then you can autopop the PS5 version trophies by importing your save data file. The PS4 version of the game has less details and it is much easier to spot resources and animals.

Once a trap is set, focus on another activity or sleep to pass the time and then return to the trap to search it. A successful search will be you receiving the materials of the animal while the trap will fall apart in front of you and will not be reusable. You will earn this trophy once you have successfully searched 10 of your set traps.

You will be tasked with building a storage container early on in the game. You will need to have the necessary materials (wood and animal guts) to craft it at a workbench.
Note: You do not need to use storage containers in the game because if you drop any items that you have collected they will persist in that location, even inside the train engine car, throughout your play through of the game.

Comfortable Sleep
Sleep in a bed.
Inside of some houses you will find beds that allow you to interact with them. Use one of these beds to sleep in to earn this trophy.
Note: You can make a campfire beside the bed to stay warm through the night too.

Fearless Hunter
Hunt a bear.
Bears are typically found further away from the train tracks and mostly to the right of the train in the forest. You will need to hunt and kill a bear with either a bow and arrow or by using a spear.

Fashion Lover
Fill all the clothing slots.
There are 9 clothing slots that you will need to fill, with one item each, at one time. These include a piece of clothing for your head, neck, torso, upper body, privates, lower body, feet, and footwear. As you search through boxes, tables, dressers, etc., you may find various pieces of clothing that you can equip. You can even replace current equipped clothing with better stat clothing. There are a limited number of clothing items that you can craft and most are trophy related.

Skilled Hunter
Hunt a moose.
Moose are typically found in only the NW (Northwest) area of the forest where there is grass coming through the snow. From the train engine car, if you go from its right and follow the other train tracks that curve to the NW area, you will need to follow them and pass by about 10 – 12 of the poles with weights on them until you get to an area that has the most moose available. Once you find a moose it is recommended to try and hunt at least a few others (as you will need 6 moose fur for other trophies) in the area while you can. They do randomly appear in the forest but are much more rare in the game than other animals. You will need to hunt and kill a moose with either a bow and arrow or by using a spear.

Seasoned Hunter
Hunt a deer.
Deer are typically found further away from the train tracks in any parts of the forest. You will need to hunt and kill a deer with either a bow and arrow or by using a spear.

Not Afraid of Wolves
Hunt 5 wolves.
You will need to hunt and kill any 5 wolves.

Clever Foxes
Hunt a fox.
Fox can be found anywhere in the forest, but mostly further away from the train tracks. They are not as plentiful as wolves and rabbits. You will need to hunt and kill a fox with either a bow and arrow or by using a spear.

Train Robber
Open 15 train cars.
You will need to open 15 train cars. Some do not need a tool to open, but the majority of them do. These tools include the Crowbar, Wrench, Bolt Cutters, and Decoder. There will be missions that will tell you where to obtain them by following the indicated compass direction. The decoder is the only one that you will need to craft at a workbench by using the indicated materials.
Note: The game does not tell you, but you can jump in the game by pressing the circle button to help you get on top of the overturned train cars.

Handy Crafter
Craft a piece of clothing.
As you hunt various animals, you will be able to collect their fur and use them in the crafting of clothing and other items. In your searches you will also find cloth and other materials that are needed in crafting clothing. From any workbench you can craft any clothing listed when you have collected the specific number of certain resources to craft the listed clothing.

Field Medicine
Craft an herbal dressing from improvised bandages.
You will need to craft an improvised bandage (cloth and antiseptic) first and then make a second recipe called a herbal dressing (improvised bandage and herb).

Novice Hunter
Hunt a rabbit.
Rabbits can be found anywhere in the forest. You will need to hunt and kill a rabbit with either a bow and arrow or by using a spear.

Jack of All Trades
Craft any item at a workbench.
You will need to use a workbench to craft any item that you have the necessary materials to build it.

Tea Time
Brew rosehip tea or herbal tea.
You can choose to make either rosehip tea or herbal tea. You will need water and either rosehip (found growing anywhere in the forest) or herbs (found mainly in kitchens). At a campfire you will need to select cook and then select the appropriate recipe to make the tea and earn the trophy.

Tourist
Start your first campfire.
To make a campfire you will need to have some rocks and pieces of wood. To place a campfire you will need to press up on your D-pad and it will show the outline of a campfire in green when you can place it. Place the campfire for the first time to earn this trophy.

Silent Hunter
Set your first trap.
At the workbenches you will be able to craft various items like a trap. Make a trap and then place it anywhere outside of the train or a building.

Cook by Calling
Cook a meal from animal meat on a campfire.
When you hunt and kill any of the animals (rabbit, wolf, deer, bear, or moose), they will all give you one meat when you search them. When you light a campfire by using a piece of wood, you will get the option to cook and when selected it will tell you the available recipes showing you how much of each ingredient you have for each recipe. You will probably have a variety of cooking items (flour, potatoes, carrots, water, herbs, cooking oil, etc.) and will therefore have a choice to cook any recipe that has meat in it. You will earn this trophy as soon as you have cooked a meal that has meat included in the recipe.
