Welcome to the trophy guide for The Last Kids on Earth and The Staff of Doom. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. Follow us on twitter for the latest news and giveaways.

Stage 1 – Play through the main Questline.

GLITCH WARNING Some players in the North America territory have stated that some of the trophies are glitched, so before starting your platinum journey make sure you are playing on at least version 1.2. According to them the developer is aware and is preparing a new patch for the NA version. The trophies in question are associated with completing the bestiary, and upgrading all weapons and armor.

The first stage is to play through the main questline while picking up any chest and collectibles on the way.

A few things to point out: There are eight grindy trophies you should work on from the beginning. They are each tied to hitting 250 enemies with each characters’ triangle attack and for each characters R2 Summon. You should pick one character and use the triangle and R2 attacks whenever there is a large group of enemies. Once you unlock both trophies tied to that character, then switch to a different character and begin using their triangle and R2 attacks and repeat. If you are late on in the game and have still not unlocked these trophies, there is a good place to grind on map 4.1. Please refer to the video in the Spin to Win trophy description below for more info.

Additionally, there are blueprints for weapons, armor, and turrets you will have to collect. Some will be given to you for completing quests, others you will need to find in chests. It is recommended to open all chests as you progress first because you need to scrap, but also to find the blueprints. If you go into the treehouse, it will tell you which map to search for the blueprint. All chests are marked with a question mark on the map so they are not hard to find at all. It is worth mentioning that chests are also found inside buildings which are also marked on the map.

Stage 2 – Sidequests and Clean up.

Once you have completed the main quest, it’s time to clean up. Start by completing all the sidequests for the 4 map areas. You should also use this opportunity to collect any blueprints you may be missing. As mentioned, to do this, head to the tree house and look at the weapons/armor/turrets you are missing and it will tell you which map to go to.

Also collect any Comic Books you are missing and do any Big Mama challenges.

Finally, head to the tree house, purchase and upgrade all armor/weapons/turrets and upgrade the tree house itself and Big Mama (Speak to Melvin) if you have not done so already.

Release the Scrapken
Defeat Scrapken.

After Bellybuster has eaten the vines you will be able to fight Scrapken. It is a pretty easy boss fight, you just have to dodge its tentacles and the car projectiles. There is a lot of warning on where they will land so yo can easily roll away. This boss is much easier if you choose June or Quint as you can stand near the back and shoot, the tentacles will not be able to reach you so you only have to worry about the cars. Please refer to the video in the Bosses neonized! trophy description for a visual guide.

Make Melvin proud
Complete all Big Mama challenges.

In total there are 13 Big Mama Challenges. They are found in the following maps:
