Welcome to the trophy guide for Sweet Witches. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Welcome to Sweet Witches! In this game you will play through the game multiple times and in multiple game modes (normal story mode, versus mode, and arcade mode). You will also have to play as both of the good witches (Praline and Vanille) and the two evil witches (Anis and Reglisse). The game consists of 6 Worlds about 8 Levels in each except the final world which consists of 3 levels to defeat the final boss.

Stages – Play through all Modes.

  • Custom Settings for Story Mode.

Play with the Custom Settings for Story Mode as shown in the picture above. Custom Mode will allow you to set the shown parameters to make these playthroughs easier. You can choose to play Adventure Mode if you desire more of a challenge. However, you will be able to earn all the trophies with this setting except for Arcade Mode and Versus Mode.

You will need to play (Solo or Local Coop):
A) Story>Custom>Praline for the “Praline & Vanille” Story.
– This playthrough is to learn the mechanics, enemies, how to use items; and earn some miscellaneous trophies:

B) Story>Custom>Vanille for the “Praline & Vanille” Story.
– After completing the game in A), you can play as Vanille and when the World Map is shown, move directly to the last World to face the final boss battle. You will earn the Chicken Wins trophy.

C) Story>Custom>Anis for the “Anis & Reglisse” Story.
— This playthrough is to learn the mechanics, enemies, how to use items; and earn some miscellaneous trophies:
~A call on hold
~Both are for monsters

D) Story>Custom>Reglisse for the “Anis & Reglisse” Story.
– After completing the game in C), you can play as Reglisse and when the World Map is shown, move directly to the last World to face the final boss battle. You will earn the I have low esteem for everyone else trophy.

E) Story>Arcade>Praline for the “Praline & Vanille” Story.
– Complete the entire game from World 1 to 6 with only 5 Lives to start. There is a bonus level to gain up to 5 Lives after each World is complete. If you lose all of your Lives, you will have to restart the game from World 1. You will earn the Are we there yet? trophy. When you successfully complete all the Worlds and defeat the boss, you will earn the Now you respect me trophy.

F) Story>Arcade>Vanille for the “Praline & Vanille” Story.
– Complete the entire game from World 1 to 6 with only 5 Lives to start. There is a bonus level to gain up to 5 Lives after each World is complete. If you lose all of your Lives, you will have to restart the game from World 1. You will earn the Nobody steals our chicks… trophy.

G) Story>Arcade>Anis for the “Anis & Reglisse” Story.
– Complete the entire game from World 1 to 6 with only 5 Lives to start. There is a bonus level to gain up to 5 Lives after each World is complete. If you lose all of your Lives, you will have to restart the game from World 1. You will earn the Agent Black trophy.

H) Story>Arcade>Reglisse for the “Anis & Reglisse” Story.
– Complete the entire game from World 1 to 6 with only 5 Lives to start. There is a bonus level to gain up to 5 Lives after each World is complete. If you lose all of your Lives, you will have to restart the game from World 1. You will earn the Dr White trophy.

I) Versus>Choose the Settings shown below in the picture.
– Play as Vanille (earn It’s time to duel! trophy as soon as you start a Versus game) and charge your Spell Meter. When it is eventually ready use your Spell Meter and you will earn the Opps trophy. See the picture below for the Versus Settings.

J) Story>Custom>Vanille in the “Praline & Vanille” Story.
-Using the Story Map, choose World 4. In one of these levels where there are rabbits you will need to plant 65 flowers in a single level. This is only possible if you let the rabbit(s) eat the flowers you have planted and then you need to replant them again. After you successfully plant all of them, you will earn the Mr. Rabbit, Wait! trophy.

K) Story>Custom>Vanille in the “Praline & Vanille” Story.
-Using the Story Map, choose World 5 as there are lots of enemies within this World’s levels. In one of these levels you will need to kill 7 monsters using one time of Vanille’s Spell. You will earn the Angry Chicks trophy.

L) Story>Custom>Praline OR Vanille in the “Praline & Vanille” Story.
-When the Story Map is available at the beginning of the game, choose World 6 to defeat the boss without dying once. If you die, pause and restart this World to quickly try again. You will earn the Golden Ticket trophy.

M) In any Story Mode, play as Reglisse in the “Anis & Reglisse” Story.
-In World 5 you will need to charge and use Reglisse’s Spell on the Cat Queen. Destroy flowers to charge her Spell while avoiding dying as this resets her Spell Meter. You will need to use her Spell on the Cat Queen so make sure there are no other enemies in the way while attempting this challenge. You will earn the Honor the fortunate dead trophy.

After earn all of the trophies above, you will earn the Sweet! trophy.

Tips

Tips:
~ Use the Custom Settings to make the game easier.

~ Use the Surprise Box powers that you can pick up in different levels. Once you have a power, you can use it immediately or in a different level of the game.

~ As your Spell Meter fills or it is filled, if you lose a life, it will be reset.

~ If you are stuck with no options to move left, right, and down, then place a ladder and go up it. Then at the top of the ladder, go in a direction that is clear to avoid the enemies. Ladders work upwards and downwards for this purpose.

~ Unless trying to earn specific trophies, always try to use your Spell and powers on the most difficult enemies for you. Try to eliminate all of the Queens as soon as possible from a level as they will produce enemy offspring that will fill the level.

~ Kittens and Dogs hunt you down to kill you.

~ Chicks and Ducks will plant flowers.

~ Rabbits will destroy the flowers.

 Golden Ticket
In normal/arcade mode defeat the boss without dying in “Praline & Vanille” story

Defeat the Boss in either Story>Custom without dying in the “Praline & Vanille” Story. After completing the Normal Mode of the “Praline & Vanille” Story once, this will be easiest if choose the World 6 directly from the Story Map. Avoid all of the attacks by the boss while moving around through the level.

Praline has the least challenging boss battle. You need to plant all the flowers. After planting all of them, you will be able to hit the boss (Anis) and this will take you to the next level (round of the boss battle). Repeat this same process a total of three times to defeat the final boss without ever dying to earn this trophy. See the pictures below.

Finish arcade mode with Anis in “Anis & Reglisse” story

Play either solo or local coop to complete the Arcade Mode as Anis in the “Anis & Reglisse” Story. You will start with 5 lives only and at the end of each World there is a level where you can defeat the Hearts to gain more lives. There are 5 Hearts at a bonus level and if you defeat one will gain you 1 Life, defeat 2 gain 2 Lives, etc. If you lose all of your Lives in Arcade Mode, you will have to restart this entire playthrough. Tips: Be careful, move as fast as possible to destroy all the flowers while avoiding all the enemies. Use the Gift Boxes to kill enemies, defeat the Dogs, Ducks, and Cats (especially the Queens as soon as possible).

Play as Reglisse in any Mode and in World 5 you will have access to the Cat Queen in a few of these levels. Charge up Reglisse’s spell by destroying the flowers without dying in the first couple levels of World 5. On the right of your screen you will see her spell readiness meter filling in as you destroy the flowers. This is indicated by the yellow that fills up the Spell Meter and is ready to use when the star is filled in. Then when you are on a level that has the Cat Queen you will want to move to as soon as possible to use your spell on her. Otherwise, lots of her Kittens will start to spawn from her and they will try to kill you.

Finish arcade mode with Praline in “Praline & Vanille” story

Play either solo or local coop to complete the Arcade Mode as Praline in the “Praline & Vanille” Story. You will start with 5 lives only and at the end of each World there is a level where you can defeat the Hearts to gain more lives. Free all hearts during a single bonus level

In Story Mode, at the end of a World there is a bonus level where you can kill Hearts to gain Lives. There are 5 Hearts available and there is only a limited amount of time (20 seconds) to defeat them. You will need to defeat them all in one bonus level to earn this trophy.

Finish a game in versus mode

Play any Versus Mode game against at least one local player or second controller. Death Match can be set to 1 Life and is very quick to accomplish. Another way is to use Timed: 30 seconds to earn as many candies as possible by planting flowers.

Complete a playthrough as Reglisse in “Anis & Reglisse” Story.
Choose Custom with:
~Enemies Speed: 50 %
~Number of Lives: 15
~ Friendly Fire: OFF

If you previously played through the Story Mode as Anis, then you can use the Story Map and go directly to World 6 for the final Boss Battle. Reglisse will battle against the same boss as Anis so see the ‘Both are for monsters’ trophy description.

Finish normal mode with Praline in “Praline & Vanille” story

Play through the Story>Custom through all 6 Worlds in “Praline & Vanille” Story from start to finish as Praline. You can lose lives, be defeated and then continue in the World that you died in. You will earn this trophy after successfully defeating the final boss. See ‘Stages: A’ for more information. Also, see ‘Golden Ticket’ for the pictures and information.

 Chicken Wins
Finish normal mode with Vanille in “Praline & Vanille” story

Play through the Story>Custom as Vanille. Choose the “Praline & Vanille” Story and start at World 6, if you previously played through the entire “Praline & Vanille” Story as Praline. You can lose lives, be defeated and then continue in the World that you died in. You will earn this trophy after successfully defeating the final boss.

World 6 is the Boss Battle against Reglisse. Reglisse will chase you around the level and you can attack her when you have finished planting all the flowers in a level. There will be Puppies that try to kill you. You need to hit all of them. This will repeat for 2 more levels until you finally defeat her. See the pictures below.

Play through the Story>Custom through all 6 Worlds from start to finish as Anis in “Anis & Reglisse” Story. You can lose lives, be defeated and then continue in the World that you died in. You will earn this trophy after successfully defeating the final boss.

World 6 is the Boss Battle against Praline. She attacks with Cherries that fall to the ground. Move around to avoid running into any of them. Her other attack is when her Kittens. Hit the Kittens as quickly as possible and move around to try to corral the Kittens to one area. For example, along the bottom they will all line up and you can hit them as they move towards Anis. There will be 3 levels of this type of battle until it is finished. If you do NOT hit Praline in one of the levels, it will start that level over with the Cherries and Kitten attacks.

With Vanille plant 65 flowers in a single level in “Praline & Vanille” story

Play as Vanille in “Praline & Vanille” Story. In a level that has rabbits, you will need to move through the platforms planting the flowers. Do NOT kill all the rabbits as they will destroy the flowers. As you plant more and they destroy them, you will eventually have planted 65 flowers.

Play Arcade Mode and the first time that you lose all of your lives you will be defeated. You will have to retry and you will earn this trophy.

Play as Anis in any Mode and destroy flowers to fill her Spell Meter. In a level with Ducks, when her Spell is ready, use it to kill at least 5 Ducks in one duration of her Spell.

What is this button for?

Without killing any enemies, complete a level in any Mode by planting all the flowers and not using a collected Surprise Box power.

Continue after a defeat

In any Story Mode other than Arcade, after losing all your Lives, you will see a screen for either “Continue” or “Return to Main Menu”. Choose to Continue to earn this trophy.

Gimme some hearts

Play in any Story Mode other than Arcade. In World 3, there is a level with a code in the background. When you see this pause, enter the code as shown below:

Up, Down, Right, Left, Up, Down, Right, Left, Circle

You will earn the trophy and have 999 Lives. Tip: You can use this code in any Mode except Arcade to gain Lives. It’s also a great way to practice the levels and earn all the trophies NOT related to the Arcade Mode. See the picture below.

 It’s a bird?
Plant 15 flowers with Praline during a single spell in “Praline & Vanille” story

In any Mode, play as Praline in the “Praline & Vanille” Story. You will need to fill your Spell Meter so that the star is showing that it is ready to use. Activate the Spell on a Level that has many spots (more than 15) available to plant 15 flowers easily. When you use Praline’s Spell, she will ride on her witch broom and move very quickly. You can jump between platforms if needed by pressing the circle button. See the picture below.

Kill 7 monsters with one Vanille spell in “Praline & Vanille” story

In any Mode, play as Vanille in the “Praline & Vanille” Story. You will need to use a level that has at least 7 enemies. It’s preferable that it is many more than this as her Spell does not last for very long in duration. Use her Spell when you are close to a cluster of the enemies and can quickly use it on 7 or more of them at one time.

Begin a game of the Story Mode as any character and either Story. As soon as you start, you will earn this trophy.

Use Vanille spell on your teammate

Play a game of Versus with Time or Death Match Setting. You can play Solo with a second controller OR Local Coop. Make sure that you have Friendly Fire ON. As Vanille, you will need to plant many flowers to charge her Spell Meter. When it is ready, use it and you will earn this trophy.

Hit the same ghost 10 times

In World 5 there will be ghosts in some of them. Use a level with only one ghost in it. You will need to attack the ghost, it will then disappear and it will reappear in a different location. Repeat this process of continually hitting the ghost for 10 times to earn this trophy. Do NOT finish the level by planting all the flowers before earning this trophy.
