Welcome to the trophy guide for RetroMania Wrestling

Stage 1 – Story Mode.
Before starting choose whichever difficulty you like as there are no difficulty related trophies you can play on the easiest setting.
Start off by playing Story Mode, in this mode you will play as Johnny Retro. None of the dialogue options have any effect on the trophies so choose which ever ones you like.
At the beginning, complete the tutorial to unlock Learn the Ropes, Kid.
After your first match, you will unlock Big Debut! and The Real Star of the Show
During story mode there is a cage match, win it to unlock Nowhere To Run. Also if you are able to defeat your opponent in under 3 minutes you will also unlock Bonesaw is Ready!
After completing Story Mode you will unlock The Best-ler, Better Than All the Rest-ler.
Additionally progress will have been made towards the Established Talent trophy for twenty wins and the Main Eventer trophy for fifty wins.
You will have won matches in 6/17 arenas for the I Have Sailed the World, Beheld Its Wonders trophy. They are – School, The Ballroom, Japan, House of Hardcore, Stevie Richards Fitness, and British Arena.
Any loses will also count towards Can’t win ’em All trophy for twenty loses.
Stage 2 – Complete 10 Pounds of Gold
For stage 2 complete 10 pounds of Gold Mode five times with five different wrestlers to unlock the 5 Time, 5 Time, 5 Time trophy. The trophy is buggy and unlocked after completing 10 pounds of Gold for a sixth time so be prepared to play through the mode an extra time.
To save time at the end pick the following 5 wrestlers to unlock their trophies along the way.
) Zack Sabre Jr. – Win one match by submission to unlock Hurrah! Another Trophy!
) Colt Cabana – Win one match to unlock Boom Boom!
) Jeff Cobb – Win one match to unlock SPLX King
) Brian Myers – Win one match to unlock The Most Professional Wrestler
) Matt Cardona – Win one match to unlock Alwayz Ready
During the first playthrough of 10 Pounds of Gold you will unlock,
) Unforgiving Steel for winning a match inside the “Big Blue” cage.
) And Then There Was One for winning a 4 Way Elimination Match.
) Established Talent for winning 20 matches
As there are so many cage matches in 10 Pounds of Gold it’s worth going for That’s Why They Call It High Risk trophy for missing an attack from on top of the cage. To climb the cage first beat your opponent a bit and leave them on the canvas so they don’t interfere. Then climb onto the turnbuckle, then climb the cage by double pressing up on the d-pad. From the top of the cage wait for your opponent to move out of the way and press circle, you will miss and land on the canvas unlocking the trophy.
At the end of the first playthrough you will unlock The Real World’s Champion for beating the 10 Pounds of Gold mode.
Before finishing this stage of the walkthrough you will unlock Main Eventer for winning 50 matches.
Finally for beating 10 Pounds of Gold for the fifth time you will unlock 5 Time, 5 Time, 5 Time.
It’s very likely you will unlock the Can’t win ’em All trophy during this stage as it’s very easy to loose the 4 way matches. This is because your opponents will get pins/submissions while you are stuck in a grappling animation.
After finishing the fifth playthrough we will now unlock the And Still trophy for winning a match as the champion. Select the wrestler you used to win 10 Pounds of Gold last and defend your belt in versus mode. Select the arena Major Wrestling Figure Podcast for another arena towards I Have Sailed the World, Beheld Its Wonders trophy.
After this stage you will have won matches in 14/17 arenas needed for I Have Sailed the World, Beheld Its Wonders trophy. having added Pro Wrestlng Tees, STOMP in Paradise, NWA Power, Warehouse, Retromania, Too Many Games, NWA 70th Anniversary and Major Wrestling Figure Podcast.
Stage 3 – Retro Rumble
Retro Rumble mode is the world rumble mode where 16 competitors battle until 1 remains. You eliminate your opponents either by pin, submission or by throwing them over the top rope.
As you are facing many opponents and your health bar is likely to be low it’s a good opportunity to unlock the I Don’t Think So, Brother! for winning a match after triggering a second wind. The second wind occurs when you have low health and are being pinned or submitted your character will suddenly kick out and have more stamina to fight on. Before you start the match go to settings and move the second wind slider to 100% to increase your chance of unlocking this trophy.
To save time in clean up, select Warhorse and Warhorse’s Hell Arena and win the match to unlock What Is Going On Here?
Retro Rumble mode is also a good opportunity to unlock No One Gets Up From That which is for executing 3 finisher moves in one match. Warhorse’s finisher is Double Foot Stomp. To perform this move grapple your opponent and press triangle to whip your opponent into the corner, while they are dazed in the corner press circle and right and Warhorse will perform his signature move. If you prefer to use a different wrestler please refer to the No One Gets Up From That trophy below on how to perform your chosen wrestlers finisher move.
After winning the Retro Rumble you will unlock Skinning the Cat.
After this stage you will have won matches in 15/17 arenas needed for I Have Sailed the World, Beheld Its Wonders trophy, having added Warhorse’s Hell Arena.
Stage 4 – Clean up
Now we will be using Versus mode to clean up the remaining trophies. You can play against the AI or play against a second controller.
) Win a 6 Man Tag Team Match as the Blue World Order to unlock We’re Takin’ Over! Choose the Beach Arena for 16/17 towards I Have Sailed the World, Beheld Its Wonders
) Win a Tag Team match as Hawk & Animal to unlock What a Rush! Choose Universal Wrestling College Arena for 17/17 unlocking I Have Sailed the World, Beheld Its Wonders
) Win a Tag match as Cardona & Myers in the STOMP In Paradise Arena to unlock Major Marks
) Win a match as Nick Aldis against Austin Idol in the NWA Power arena to unlock Generation Clash and National Treasure
) Win a match as Stevie Richards in the SRF Arena to unlock Whipped into shape
) Win a match as Nikita Koloff in the NWA 70 Arena to unlock Kickin’ it Old School
) Win a 3 Way Match with Tommy Dreamer in the Ballroom to unlock I’ll Take ’em Both, I’m Hardcore and Innovator of Violence.
You may have already unlocked I Don’t Need The Ring! for winning a falls count anywhere match outside of the ring and I Hope The Ref Didn’t See That for hitting your opponent with a chair. If not go to Versus mode and change the settings to falls count anywhere match. Beat your opponent up and throw them out of the ring. Follow them outside of the ring by pressing up twice on the d-pad by the ropes. Pick up a chair and hit them with it then continue to beat them up outside of the ring until you can pin them.
An easy way to get Killin’ the Biz for kicking out an opponent’s finishing move is to go to settings and change the starting momentum all the way to the right. Play in Versus mode and use a second controller. As player 2 use Zack Sabre Jr. who has a Standing Kimura Lock as his special mode. To perform the special move press right and circle whilst grappling. Then as Player 1 quickly mash buttons to break out.
Finally to unlock I’m Just a Spectator go to Versus mode, then rules and select AI battle – yes. Then select the wrestlers and the arena and watch them fight. Do this five times to unlock the trophy. May be a little confusing because one of the AI will still have P1 as if you are playing but when you start the match the AI will take over.

Retro Rumble is the games World Rumble mode. In total 16 competitors battle it out to be the last one standing. You can eliminate your opponents by pin, submission or by throwing them over the top rope. Win the match to unlock this trophy.

10 Pounds of Gold is a game mode where you need to win matches to become champion, afterwards you must play some more matches and then defend your belt against Nick Aldis.

Go to Versus mode, play against a 2nd controller or the AI. Select match type 6 man tag team. Select Stevie Richards, Hollywood Nova, Blue Meanie and beat your opponents.
What a Rush!
Win a Tag Team match as Hawk & Animal
Go to Versus mode, play against a 2nd controller or the AI. Select match type tag team Select Hawk and Animal (The Road Warriors) as your tag team and then beat your opponents.

Win a 4 Way Elimination Match
The easiest way to unlock this trophy is to go to Versus mode. Play against the AI. Select 4 way match then beat your opponents. Will also be unlocked when playing the 10 Pounds of Gold mode.
No One Gets Up From That
Land 3 Finishing Moves in One Match
Each wrestler has their own unique finisher move, perform three in one match to unlock the trophy. You need to have momentum to perform these moves.

Go to settings and change the starting momentum all the way to the right. Play in Versus mode and use a second controller. Successfully Defend a Championship in Exhibition Mode
After winning the 10 Pounds of Gold mode, go to Versus mode and select the wrestler you won the 10 Pounds of Gold mode with. Choose any opponent and beat them. When you walk to the wing you will notice that you have the belt around your waste.
Generation Clash
Win a match as Nick Aldis against Austin Idol in the NWA Power arena
The easiest way to unlock this trophy is to go to Versus mode. Play against a 2nd controller or the AI. Select Nick Aldis, your opponent as Austin Idol and the NWA Power Arena, then beat your opponent.
I’m Just a Spectator
Watch Five AI vs. AI Battles
Go to Versus mode, then rules and select AI battle – yes. Then select the wrestlers and the arena and watch them fight. Do this five times to unlock the trophy. May be a little confusing because one of the AI will still have P1 as if you are playing but when you start the match the AI will take over.
I Hope The Ref Didn’t See That
Hit Your Opponent With a Steel Chair
An easy way to get this is to Go to Versus mode, play against a 2nd controller or the AI. Go to the Rules and change Ring Count to No Count Outs. Wear your opponent down and throw them out of the ring (Square and Up). Follow them outside of the ring and pick up a chair and then hit your opponent with the chair.
Can’t win ’em All
Lose 10 Matches
Lose 10 matches. Can be done in Versus mode by letting the AI beat you. A quick way to get this would be to set the ring out to 10 in settings, leave the ring and let the ref count to ten.
Kickin’ it Old School
Win a match as Nikita Koloff in the NWA 70 Arena
Go to Versus mode, play against a 2nd controller or the AI. Select Nikita Koloff and the NWA 70 Arena and then beat your opponent.
Learn the Ropes, Kid
Complete The Basic Tutorial in Story Mode
At the start of Story Mode you will have to complete a quick tutorial and then this trophy will unlock.

Win a match as Matt Cardona
Go to Versus mode, play against a 2nd controller or the AI. Select Matt Cardona and beat your opponent.
I Don’t Need The Ring!
Win a Falls Count Anywhere Match Outside the Ring
An easy way to get this is to Go to Versus mode, play against a 2nd controller or the AI. Go to the Rules and change Falls Count Anywhere to Yes. Wear your opponent down and throw them out of the ring (Square and Up). Follow them outside of the ring and continue to beat them and then pin your opponent outside of the ring.
I Don’t Think So, Brother!
Win a Match After Triggering a Second Wind
Go to Options and then Gameplay, change Second Wind all the way to 100%. Then play any match and let your opponent beat you up eventually they will go for a pin and a submission and your second wind should kick in. You will know if it has or not because you will glow blue. Go on to win the match after this to unlock the trophy.
Nowhere To Run
Win a Cage Match inside the “Chain Link” cage
Can be unlocked in Versus mode against a second controller or AI. Go to Rules and then Cage then select Chain Link. Then beat your opponent. Can be combined with Bonesaw is Ready! If you beat your opponent in under 3 minutes.
Unforgiving Steel
Win a Cage Match inside the “Big Blue” cage
Can be unlocked in Versus mode against a second controller or AI. Go to Rules and then Cage then select Big Blue. Then beat your opponent. Can be combined with Bonesaw is Ready! If you beat your opponent in under 3 minutes.

To perform a submission beat your opponent so their health bar is low and if you have 2 bars of momentum you can perform a submission by pressing O and a direction at your opponent’s feet when they are down on the canvas.
