Welcome to the trophy guide for Megaquarium. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Stage 1 – Play from Level 1 to Level 10 to complete the campaign mode.
The Campaign Mode can be played on Easy in order to earn all trophies the easiest possible way. However, choose to play at any difficulty to earn all the trophies and this will increase the challenge and length of time to earn all trophies.
There are 4 difficulties to choose from: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Brutal Modes. There is a Sandbox Mode that can be played with a variety of options.
By playing the Campaign Mode, you will learn how to obtain items, get the most Ecology Points to move up the Prestige Ranks, and complete each level’s objectives.
Note: Not all Animals, Items, Employees, etc. are available when you play through the Campaign Mode. If you play through Level 1 to 10 you will eventually unlock all of these and learn how to use them.
Tips:
-Immediately after starting a new level do the following: Hire all available employees, add equipment to any given aquariums that need it, add animals and decorations, turn the time on so that you will have visitors to start earning Ecology Points and money.
-Follow the objectives given at each stage of the game.
-As new items become available, buy and use them.
-Check your message center as new messages become available.
-the Message Log can include: objectives, trade information, employee leveling up their skills, animal growth information, donations, death reports, and animals available to purchase.
-As you progress through the Prestige Ranks, you might not have unlocked all the of specific items for a Prestige Level. However, you can choose what Ecology Projects and Science Research to conduct from any Prestige Rank that you have unlocked.
Cool feature in game:
There is the ability to zoom into your aquarium (push the Right Stick forward) enabling you to look around (use the Left Stick to move, Right Stick to look around.) your aquarium as your guests would see your aquarium. It’s possible to go into/through any structures, including individual aquariums. Press 
to zoom out to return to overview of the level.
Prestige Ranks:
Stage 2 – Trophy Cleanup.
Continue playing any level in Campaign Mode to obtain these or use Sandbox Mode to choose options (see pictures below), making it very easy to obtain these trophies:
Collector Trophy – Buy 1000 animals.
Trader Trophy – Complete 5 trades.
Re-name an Animal – Change the name of any animal.
Megaquarist
Collect all the trophies in Megaquarium.
Earn all other the trophies.
Grower
Grow 50 animals to full size.
Buy 50 animals and over time they will grow to full size. The best way to do this is to meet the specific requirements of individual animals: correct temperature, filtration, lighting, etc. Do this by giving the animals larger aquariums with less competition from other animals. The 50 animals required for this trophy will come through natural play progression.
Collector
Buy 1000 animals.
This should come naturally while playing through the campaign. If not, filling a large aquarium then selling those animals in repetition will earn you this. Eventually 1000 animals will be purchased.
Popular
Have 1000 guests enter your aquariums.
As soon as you begin the campaign, open your aquarium and allow guests in. Always hire staff, build aquariums, add the equipment to operate them, buy animals, and decorate the aquariums in that order. Then start to focus on the specific objectives for each of the 10 campaign levels. This way visitors are constantly coming to your aquarium, eventually assembling 1000 or more guests. Using this method should earn you this trophy by level 4 or 5.
Trader
Complete 5 trades.
As you progress through the campaign levels, check the Message Log as there may be another aquarium offering to trade an animal(s) for an specific animal(s). Sometimes you may have to wait for them to grow to full size, have a certain number of them, and/or wait until you have access to the Prestige Rank in order to obtain them.
Complete 6. Hartcliff
Complete all objectives in level 6. Hartcliff.
New animals and items become available in this level. Complete the objectives as they appear through natural gameplay. See the pictures below.
Complete 7. Myra
Complete all objectives in level 7. Myra.
New animals and items become available in this level. Complete the objectives as they appear through natural gameplay. See the pictures below.
Complete 8. Le Dufont
Complete all objectives in level 8. Le Dufont.
New animals and items become available in this level. Complete the objectives as they appear through natural gameplay. See the pictures below.
Complete 9. Carbon City
Complete all objectives in level 9. Carbon City.
