Stage 1 – Play through the Main Story.

Lapis X Labyrinth consists of 10 Quest Levels that make up the Story content of this game. Each Quest level has 6 maps + a boss map, nothing is missable so go through at your own pace. There are a few trophies to keep track of though, so be sure to read up on the compendium trophies and Clueless Adventurer to be aware of certain enemies and tips.

Stage 2 – Play through the EX Dungeon and Clean Up.

After the main story, an EX dungeon will open up. This contains the extra boss and is much more difficult than the Story. After you defeat the final boss, Penumbra, the only trophy you probably will have left is the Treasure Hunter trophy.

Trophies

  Abyssal Conqueror
Acquired all Trophies

  Dungeon Master
Cleared Quest Level 10.

Quest Levels are your story levels in Lapis x Labyrinth. These are unmissable.

Quest Level 10 consists of quest levels 300 – 2500, much more scaling than Main Game.

  Rare Hunter Guru
Found 3 Ultimate Rare items in one stage.

Ultimate Rare Items are the highest rarity in the game, designated by the rainbow chests. These are entirely RNG based making this an annoying trophy, except you can increase your chances with: More enemies defeated, higher score at treasure screens, picking up all chests on a stage, fever mode and high combo scores, anything that helps towards rewarding treasures. Late end game dungeon and EX dungeon are heavily recommended because they have multiple floors, lots of enemies, upwards of 8 turquoise chests after bosses, upwards of 9 points to spend on chests after dungeon clearing. So be prepared to do some dungeon farming.

Guild Master
Guild Level 50 attained.

Lapis x Labyrinth rewards you with experience every time you clear a mission. There’s just enough experience that level 50 will be rewarded when you complete Quest Level 10.

  Treasure Hunter
Completed Treasure Compendium

Lapis x Labyrinth has a lot of items. The Compendium covers everything: weapons, items, armors, grimoires, ingredients, etc. You need to nab it all! Luckily, this is just lengthy and not overly difficult. It’s easiest to get your equipment completed first, as they cost no money nor do you need prerequisites for them. Starting around chapter 8/9 make it routine to check your compendium after every mission and see the % of equips you have, then focus on grabbing chests at after dungeon clearance on the items you are close to completing and avoiding the ones you already have 100% on. After you obtain 100% on equips, the rest will come with time through upgrades and maybe some monster drops (The monster compendium will have 2 listings of drops per monster, with ??? if you haven’t earned it from them). You’ll have to buy the grimoires, exchange shop items, dismantle for ingredients, etc. Keep checking up on the compendium and work towards one goal at a time. This trophy will most likely not be earned by even the EX dungeon clearing, as there will be Grimoires you didn’t find useful, items you haven’t dismantled, exchanges you didn’t need, etc.

  Ancient Legacies
Defeated a Penumbra.

By far the hardest enemy in the game. It is the last Monster and Boss you will fight, at a grand level of 2599! Penumbra also has multiple stages, so don’t think it’s almost dead after the first HP bar is lowered. He can and probably will take multiple attempts as he can, let alone the enemies in the dungeon can one-shot your members if not prepared. Refer to That’s a Lot of Damage to learn how to put together a very strong offense. As for defense:
Dojo Skills for Health, Grimoires, fill in empty slots your equipment has with defensive stats (Vampire, Damage Reduction %, Damage Reduction under 50%, etc.). The rest comes down to your luck of his moves he uses, how well your crits activate, how on top of him you are, this is not an easy task.

  Monster Professor
Completed Monster Compendium.

Lapis uses a mechanic of locking you in a ‘room’ forcing you to clear out enemies. There aren’t any hidden or special monsters to summon either. Given these 2 things you will come across all monsters naturally by game end, as the last monster to face will be the boss Penumbra.

  That’s a Lot of Damage
Dealt 100,000 damage in a single strike.

This can be a daunting task. It mainly requires a lot of set-up, The Destroyer class is recommended as he has some of the highest base attack in-game. If you open up your status screen, you’ll see a stack of your bonuses. These are all applied to the character you use on the field and stack from your entire teams equipments. You will need to utilize this for this trophy. A few attributes you will want to have on your armor and weapons:
Critical Chance(At least 20-25%) which will allow you to hit crits.
Crit Damage (At Least 50%) This will hugely impact the damage your crit does.
High Tension (At Least 20-25%) This allows a Damage Boost when at full HP.
Attack Boost (At Least 40-50%) This increases your attack damage.
and if you can
Armor, Demon, Ghost, Flying or Plant ATK (The higher the level, the better) This will give a fixed % increase in damage against these types of enemies.

You will also need to utilize the Dojo as it can increase the character skills you will be using.
The 2 main Dojo skills you’ll want to buy are:
Attack Boost and Armor, Demon, Ghost, Flying or Plant ATK (Pair this up with whichever is the highest of these bonuses from your equipment.)

With all the above done, you’ll want to head into an Ex Dungeon preferably as it gives you a lot of level ups. You’ll want a lot of stats increase so the bonuses applied from earlier will bring this up over 100k damage. So You’ll be aiming for Party Level 20+ and Achieved a Fever Mode (if you have Vampire, you’ll reach full health within Fever Mode easily) and you should be able to with full hp bonus + an activated crit to achieve this. If you have trouble with keeping your HP up for the High Tension bonus, end-game dungeons also work well for achieving a party level of 20.

  Millionaire
Collected 1,000,000 Gold Coins.

Lapis has a trophy for completing the Treasure Compendium, which will easily require more than 1,000,000 Gold Coins, so this trophy is of no worry. In the EX Dungeons, 50,000-100,000 per dungeon isn’t uncommon, so even farming this if you haven’t earned it is a rather quick task that’s done in less than an hour.

  Rare Hunter Veteran
Got a Rarity 10 item for the first time.

This is completely RNG, as the items you obtain fluctuate in rarity. Though this is more easily obtained in higher ranked missions as the rewards are often higher ranked. You can get this through any way of obtaining treasures. There is also a luck factor as at the rewards screen where you use points to open chests, sometimes a rarity boost will happen and change the item.

  Rare Hunter Amateur
Obtained your first Ultimate Rare item.

Given the name Ultimate Rare item, it’s not as hard to obtain as you think. An Ultimate Rare item can occur to any item from rarity 1 – 10 and is obtained by any means of treasure obtaining, in the attached picture you’ll see ‘Ultimate Rare’ in the “quality” status. That is what you are hoping to obtain, the item wording is a Bluish-Purple, Dory, is the Ultimate Rare item in the picture. Occasionally in the treasure results screen where you purchase chests, a chest will have a random “reshuffle” inside the box before opening and spit out a much rarer item though this is luck based.

  Night Fever
Entered Fever 10 times in one stage.

Later in the game, you will have dungeons with multiple floors with bonus switches that automatically enable fever mode. Pairing these 2 together with waiting out your fever mode, then starting more fights, will allow you to easily obtain this trophy.

Fever Activators

  Combo Master
Scored 1,000 Treasure Combo.

Refer to ‘Striker’.

  Striker
Scored 1,000,000 Treasure Combo.

Treasure Combo is located near the top right. It increases whenever you attack anything, fever mode, combos, treasure found, etc. For this trophy, you need to acquire a 1,000,000 Treasure Combo, which is simple. You will most likely earn this before finishing Quest Level 1. The final 2 quests in Quest Level 1 have multiple floors, a lot of enemies, and the maps are large. Use as much time out of the 5 minutes and explore everything! Even with being hit, combo disruptions, forgotten treasures, and some map portions skipped you can easily achieve over 1,000,000. If you don’t earn this before game-end, the EX dungeon is massive and large groups of enemies will net you upwards of 5,000,000.

Lapis x Labyrinth Treasure Combo

  Clueless Adventurer
Cleared Quest Level 1.

Quest Levels are your story levels in Lapis x Labyrinth. These are unmissable.

Quest Level 1 consists of quest levels 1 to 8.

Throughout the game some helpful enemies to keep cautious of are as follows:

Zombie: They can cause a poisonous miasma field which drains HP fast.
Ghoul:A variant of the Zombie.
Myconid: Mushrooms in this game cause various ailments, but these little buggers tend to paralyse you and turn you into sitting ducks.
Mayfly: Do the same things as Zombies, but they’re flying.
Magic Knight: These enemies usually come in large groups and fire ranged projectiles that can rip apart your health if not disposed of quickly.
Gun Knight: A variant of the Magic Knight.
Minibeast: This particular beast has a excellent tower knockdown that is ranged. You will lose party members easily with them.

Usually bosses are the toughest parts in games, which they can be in Lapis, except if you fill up 90% of your Fever Meter before going through the portal to the boss room, you can activate it at the boss. This will give you a great length of invincibility, abuse the Team Attack skills, and focus only on the boss. When they boss dies, all other enemies die as well.

During main story dungeons the first floors are the toughest due to underleveling. Buy food and use equipment with EXP Bonuses and you’ll level up and do just fine!

  Clean Sweep
Destroyed all seals in any one stage.

Seals are purple diamonds that need to be broken to activate the floor portal. There are more diamonds than needed to activate a floor portal though. The blue crown marker annotates the amount needed to open the portal, the orange is for the bonus of clearing the whole stage. What this trophy entails is that you break all the required seals + the extra, the previously mentioned orange crown. It is recommended that you do this within the first 3 stages of the game, as the enemies are easy and the maps aren’t too large.
