Stage 1 – Complete the game

JackQuest has a few missables, but the game is rather short. A complete playthrough takes about 30-60 minutes, depending on your skills. You should keep an eye open for all the hearts and gems in the game. They are all within the video guide provided below.

Video Walkthrough

JackQuest is rather short, but can leave you confused on where to go next. The video walkthrough below is 28 min long and shows you where to find the collectables (hearts, gems) and where to go next.

Trophies

  JackQuest
Obtained all trophies in JackQuest.

  Monsters
Kill 50 monsters.

Monsters are found throughout the whole game, and can be killed within a few hits. You shouldn’t have too much trouble killing 50.

  Secret
Find a secret room

Secret rooms are found in the game, and contain hearts and gems. Following the video walkthrough should provide you with plenty to earn this trophy.

Secret rooms are hidden in walls, which can’t be spotted with the naked eye. Jumping into a wall will reveal them.

  Slime
Kill the Slime boss

The Slime boss is the first boss within the game. You can kill him by staying close to him and hitting him with the sword. When he shoots the green slime projectiles, make sure to dodge him. After a set amount of time, it will jump in the air. Make sure to dodge his jump, as this will damage you. A video is provided below to help you beat him.

  Spider
Kill the Spider boss.

The Spider boss is the second boss of the game. He will crawl onto the ceiling and shoot webs at you. While dodging the webs, make sure to hit the spider. This will make him fall down and stunned. Hit him 6-7 times and he will move up again. When he spawns little spiderlings, kill them while keeping an eye on the big spider.

  Serpent
Kill the Serpent boss.

The Serpent boss is the third, and perhaps the easiest boss around. If you save your mana, you will be able to defeat him pretty easily from up close by spamming the special attack.

  King
Kill the King boss.

The king boss shoots purple slime projectiles towards you. You can dodge them while attacking him. After a while, he will become stationary and you will be able to inflict even more damage while he throws scythes at you.

  All Gems
Collect all gems.

There a total of 8 gems to be collect within the game. Sadly there is no map available, making it impossible to mark them for you. The video walkthrough covers all of the gems, making it easy to spot and collect them.

  All Hearts
Collect all hearts

There are a total of 4 hearts to be found within the game. Sadly there is no map available, making it impossible to mark them for you. The video walkthrough covers all of the gems, making it easy to spot and collect them.

Collecting a heart will increase your total lives with +1, and will also fully heal you.

  Nara
Redeem Nara.

This trophy will pop once you defeat the final boss, Korg.

  Korg
Defeat Korg.

Korg is the final boss of the game and is not too challenging. He will slam his first on the ground, make sure to dodge those! Once he hits the ground, stones will fall from the ceiling. These are to be dodged by standing in the clear. Every once in a while, he will summon enemies that will damage you. Ignoring these enemies and dodging them is probably the best method.

Jumping towards Korg’s head while attacking will damage him. Mana could be used to rush him down when he is low on health.

  Spiked
Impaled first time.

Spikes are found in many areas within the game. Simply touch one and you will earn this trophy.

  Heart
My first heart.

  Gem
My first gem.
