Welcome to the trophy guide for Inferno 2. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Stage 1 – Complete the game
Select the easiest difficulty called “Warm”.
The first weapon (spread) you receive is good enough to last you through the game.
For all related upgrades, do the following:
1) Upgrade all weapons to level 1
2) Upgrade all missiles to level 1
3) Upgrade a single weapon to level 3
4) Spend both enhancements towards the same slot
4) DO NOT upgrade “power” upgrades
By the time you reach Level 20 the only trophies you should have left are Game Half, for completing level 20 and possibly Count Deaths for dying 5 times. The Game half trophy will pop after you have killed the boss and gone through the exit. Continue the game and allow yourself to be killed 5 times. Platinum!
Spending your upgrades
Stage 2 – “Level secret” (missable)
Level 7 and level 13 have secret areas, you will see an exit symbol but labelled Bonus Exit.
The Level 7 one is located in the bottom left of the map, get to it by going through the wall on it’s right.
Level 13 is accessed by destroying the pink orb on the far left of the map, shoot it with missiles, this will open up the pathway to the Bonus Exit.
Complete just 1 of the Secret levels for the “Level secret” trophy.

COUNT DEATHS
Get Destroyed 5 Times
Quite possibly your last trophy before the platinum. Just allow yourself to die by letting the enemies deplete your health.
COUNT XP
Reach 1,000 XP
This trophy should be no concern as it will pop during your playthrough towards Level 20, around Level 7. Kill enemies to gain xp, just be thorough and clear the level of enemies before you go through the exit.
UPGRADE EVERY WEAPON
Upgrade Every Weapon Simultaneously
There are 4 different weapon types, you will find the last one on Level 8. Pausing the game with the options button, will display the upgrade screen. Upgrade each weapon type at least once for the trophy.
COUNT KILLS
Destroy 1,000 Enemies
Shoot your main weapon and/or missiles at the enemies to kill them. Killing 1000 will get you this trophy. Be thorough and clear each level of enemies before you go through the exit and you will get this trophy around Level 6.
UPGRADE EVERY MISSILE
Upgrade Every Missile Simultaneously
There are 4 different missile types, you will find the last one on Level 17. Pausing the game with the options button, will display the upgrade screen. Upgrade each missile type at least once for the trophy.
GAME HALF
Complete Level 20
Kill the boss and then go through the exit for the trophy to pop. The boss is easy to kill, constantly shoot at him dodging any projectiles. Don’t worry about emptying your missile ammo onto him as you shouldn’t need them after this level, as this should be your last trophy.
If your only other trophy after this one is for dying, then play the next level and allow the enemies to kill you, it’s quicker than starting the game over again.
COUNT USE POWER
Use a Power 5 Times
The game teaches you about powers on Level 4. Use your power 5 times for this trophy by pressing L2. You will need to wait for the power bar to be fully charged before being able to use it again, located at the top centre of the screen. See the screenshot for an example.
COUNT SHIELD KILLS
Destroy 25 Shielded Enemies
Shielded enemies are ones that are behind a sealed off area that you need a key to access. You find keys during the levels or you can purchase one from the shop but not needed. This trophy should pop towards the last few levels before Level 20, just be thorough with clearing the levels of enemies and pickups.
COUNT FIRE MISSILE
Fire 500 Missile Shots
The game teaches you about missiles on Level 1, press R2 to fire them at enemies. This trophy will pop before you are half way through to reaching Level 20. Buy ammo in the shop if need be.
LEVEL SECRET
Complete 1 Secret Level
MISSABLE
Level 7 and 13 have secret areas, you will see an exit symbol but labelled Bonus Exit.
The Level 7 one is located in the bottom left of the map, get to it by going through the wall on it’s right.
Level 13 is accessed by destroying the pink orb on the far left of the map, shoot it with missiles, this will open up the pathway to the Bonus Exit.
Collect everything within the secret level, when the timer runs out the trophy will pop and you will return to the normal levels.

COUNT GOLD
Collect 10000 Gold – Total
This trophy should be no concern as it will pop around Level 3 during your playthrough towards Level 20. Just be thorough and clear the level of pickups before you go through the exit.
DOUBLE ENHANCEMENT
Apply a Double Enhancement
The game teaches you about Enhancement’s on Level 6 once you have collected a pickup with a ship on it. It is up to you which item you enhance but just make sure you do the same one again when you collect the next enhancement pickup on Level 16.
MAX MISSILE AMMO
Max Out All Missile Ammo
Once you have the last missile unlocked on level 17, you can go into the shop and purchase ammo for each missile. Buy them all at the same time, so you max out the ammo count for each, and the trophy will pop.
MAX UPGRADE WEAPON
Maximize The Upgrades on a Weapon
For this trophy upgrade a single weapon to level 3. This will cost a total of 9 upgrade points. Only use your upgrade points to those described in stage 1. Otherwise, you will be short on upgrade points and you will need to continue your game after level 20.”
COUNT CRATES
Destroy 10 Item Orbs
The orbs are purple coloured and when destroyed drop pickups. This trophy will pop around level 5, be thorough on clearing all enemies and pickups before going through the exit.
