Welcome to the trophy guide for Darius Cozmic Collection Arcade. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Stage 1 – Darius


All trophies related to Darius have been marked orange.
You will need to play both the “Extra version” and the “New Version”.

Extra Version:
Complete the game while following the path below:
A → C → F → J → O → T → Z

While doing so, keep the following things in mind:
1) Collect all power-ups to maximize their powers (Red/Green/Blue)
Collect enough power ups until they reach “Wave”, “Multi” and “Hyper”

2) Find the power-up in zone “O” or “Z”
Refer to the “1-Up Item Obtained” trophy for detailed information on this.

3) Obtain at least 10.000.000 (10 million) points
Put “Stock lives” on 6, put “extra lives” on “every 600.00”. Collect both extra lives. Each extra life will earn you 100.00 bonus points.

4) Get hit by a Yazuka Takami’s bullet
Once the boss-fight starts, you will have 45 seconds to defeat it before the Yazuka spawn. Wait until they spawn, then a new countdown will start. Wait until this one runs out of time too! Now, they will shoot bullets upon being killed. Get killed by one of those bullets, for the trophy to pop.

5) New Version playthrough
Complete the game “Darius New version” , taking any path as long as it reaches zones “K” and “Z” . Collect the extra lives in zone “K” and “Z” to obtain the 4.000.000 (4 million) points.

Stage 2 – Darius II


All trophies related to Darius have been marked yellow.
It’s important that you finish your run in Zone “X” for the “Darius III: Coming Next Year” trophy. The preferred path is as followed:
A -> B -> E -> H -> M -> R -> X

While playing, keep the following in mind:
1) Collect all power-ups to maximize their powers (Red/Green/Blue/Yellow)
Collect enough power ups until you max-out the Yellow, Green, Blue and Red power-ups.

2) Find the power-up in zone “H” or “R”
Find the power-up in zone H and R.

3) Obtain at least 3 million points
Follow the preferred path and you should earn around 3 million points.

Stage 3 – Darius Gaiden


All trophies related to Darius have been marked green.
Darius Gaiden is the hardest game within this bundle. The bosses are incredible hard, even more so the final boss is the last Zone.

Put the difficulty on easy, and follow the preferred path below:
A -> B -> E -> H -> M -> R -> X

The boss in zone X is one of the easiest in the final zone, but still hard as hell!

While playing, keep the following in mind:
1) Collect all power-ups to maximize their powers (Red/Green/Blue)
Collect enough power ups until you max-out the Green, Blue and Red power-ups.

2) Find the power-ups in zone “E” or “R”
Find the power-ups in zone E and R. both are required to achieve 10 million points.

3) Obtain at least 10.000.000 (10 million) points
Just play the game and follow the preferred path. you should score around 3.800.000 points.Furthermore, you should earn 6.000.000 points by having a total of 6 lives in stock. you should also earn some bonus points for capturing mid-bosses. So in short:

1) Play and earn 3.8 mil points
2) Save a total of 6 lives for 6 mil points (put stock lives on 4)
3) capture as many mid-bosses as possible (200.000 per capture)

4) Have Yazuka Takami’s spawn
Can be done with the final boss, as this fight takes up a lot of time.

5) Capture mid-bosses
Mid-bosses can be captured by shooting the “globe” they carry on their back. Once they release the globe, pick it up with the ship.

Stage 4 – Sagaia Ver. 1


All trophies related to Darius have been marked purple.
Sagaia Version 1 is very short in terms of gameplay per level and the route towards the end. The bosses die very quick and offer little to no challenge.

Make sure to play on Normal (Picture 1/2) difficulty, otherwise you won’t be able to find enough of the Green power-ups. In the pictures 3/4 below you can see the difference between the “easy” and “normal” difficulty in terms of available power-ups.

The preferred path is as followed:
A -> B -> C -> E -> G -> J -> M

While doing so, keep the following things in mind:
1) Collect all power-ups to maximize their powers (Red/Green/Blue/Yellow)
Collect enough power ups until you max-out the Yellow, Green, Blue and Red power-ups.

2) Find the power-up in zone “B” or “E”
Find the power-up in zone B or E. Make sure difficulty settings are on normal. The power-up doesn’t appear on easy settings.

3) Obtain at least 2.000.000 (2 million) points
Just play the game and follow the preferred path. you should score around 2.400.000 points.

4) Have Yazuka Takami’s spawn
Once you reach the first boss (Steel spine), kill both fins. Then fly behind it and wait for the timer to run out. A Yazuka will spawn, earning you a trophy.

Stage 5 – Sagaia Ver. 2


All trophies related to Darius have been marked pink.
Sagaia Ver.2 is similar to Sagaia Ver.1 . Refer to Stage 4 for the roadmap.
One of the small differences is the amount of lives available to pick-up, as seen in the picture below. It only has 1 power-up in zone B. Version 1 has also one available in zone E.

Darius II


The prefered path is as followed:
A -> B -> E -> H -> M -> R -> X

Once the game ends, make sure to watch the credits! If you skip anything, the trophy will NOT pop.


 4 Million Points Scored
Rack up 4 million points in Darius (Old or New version)
Darius New Version


Complete the game “Darius New version” , taking any path as long as it reaches zones “K” and “Z”. Collect the extra lives in zone “K” and “Z” to obtain the 4.000.000 (4 million) points. The extra lives will boost your points in the final score screen.


 2 Million Points Scored (Sagaia Ver. 2)

Sagaia Version 2


Just play the game and follow the preferred path. you should score around 2.400.000 points.

Darius II


Follow the preferred path and you should earn around 3 million points. If you a low on points, reload a save and try killing another final boss.


 10 Million Points Scored Rack up 10 million Points in Darius (Extra version)
Darius (Extra Version)


Put “Stock lives” on 6, put “extra lives” on “every 600.00”. Collect both extra lives. Each extra life will earn you 100.00 bonus points. You should be able to reach around 13-14 million points without any problems.


 10 Million Points Scored Rack up 10 million points
Darius Gaiden


Just play the game and follow the preferred path. you should score around 3.800.000 points. Furthermore, you should earn 6.000.000 points by having a total of 6 lives in stock. you should also earn some bonus points for capturing mid-bosses. So in short:

1) Play and earn 3.8 mil points
2) Save a total of 6 lives for 6 mil points (put stock lives on 4)
3) capture as many mid-bosses as possible (200.000 per capture)

Endboss with some massive healthbar. Firstly, you need to destroy its belly. After that, go for the face.

Get hit by a Yazuka Takami’s revenge bullet after shooting it down during a boss battle

Wait for the timer to expire and the Yazuka will spawn. Now, kill them and they will fire a bullet. Don’t dodge the bullet and let it hit you.

The 1-up items are found in Zone K/L/M/N/O and Z/V/W/X/Y/X/Z’/V’.

Make sure to pick up both for extra points!

Aim for the head and dodge the projectiles.

Stick close and keep shooting. If all done correctly, you should be able to kill the snake before he can perform his first charge attack.

Darius II


Stay in front of him, towards the floor. Now shoot the first few guns of the ships. Then kill the ones on the back. Once the crab spawns, keep shooting and dodge the projectiles.


 Round 7 Cleared
Clear Zone Z, V, W, X, Y, Z’, or V’
Darius II


Kill both fins in order to disable the many projectiles. Then aim for the head.


 Maximum Shot Power
Reach maximum shot power by collecting red medals
Darius II


Collect enough red power-ups to max-out the shot power. Make sure to reload your save file upon death, as this will reset your power-up progress.


 Maximum Bomb Power
Reach maximum bomb power by collecting green medals

Collect enough green power-ups to max-out the bomb power. Make sure to reload your save file upon death, as this will reset your power-up progress.


 Maximum Laser Power

 YAZUKA Encountered
Encounter a Yazuka Takami in a boss battle
Darius II


You will have to wait for 2:45 mins in any boss battle until the Yazuka spawn. Keep dodging projectiles and save often.


 1-Up Item Obtained
Acquire a 1-up item
Darius II


1-ups’s are found in Zone G/H/I/J and P/Q/R/S/T/U. Collect both to earn more points.

Earned during the beginning of zone A. It requires no particular action.

Sagaia Version 1


The bosses in Sagaia Ver1 and Ver2 are the easiest within the collection and can be killed within seconds.
Stay close to bosses to inflict more damage upon them.

For the fish in zone A, just aim for the head.

Sagaia Version 1


Stick close and keep shooting. If all done correctly, you should be able to kill the snake before he can perform his first charge attack.

Clear Zone G, H, or I
Sagaia Version 1


The Needle has a total of 4 hooks. Kill the lower 2 first. Then work your way up and kill the upper 2. It will shoot a bunch of needles, make sure to dodge those. Now kill the brain.

Firstly destroy both fins, then aim for the head.

Collect enough green power-ups to max-out the bomb power. Make sure to reload your save file upon death, as this will reset your power-up progress. Note that you need to play on Normal difficulty otherwise there will not be enough green power ups by the end of the game.

for the final boss it’s important to end in zone”X” as that one is the easiest.


 Mid-boss Captured
Successfully capture a mid-boss

Mid-bosses can be captured by shooting the “globe” they carry on their back. Once they release the globe, pick it up with the ship.

Each capture will earn you an additional 200.000 points in the post-game section.

The captured boss will fight alongside you for a short period of time.
