Welcome to the trophy guide for The Grinch 2: Saving Christmas. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox One, Series X and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4/5 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Stage 1 – Complete all 23 levels and collect at least 5000 decorations
Welcome to this trophy guide for The Grinch 2: Saving Christmas by Developer Casual Brothers and Publisher Outright Games. The sequel to the first Grinch game shifts the game’s style to a 3D platformer. The main aim while playing should be to complete all 23 levels and collect 5000 decorations, there are a lot more so there’s no need to collect all of the the decorations. once 5000 have been collected you can ignore them and just reach the end of the levels.
The unique ornaments are unmissable as they are needed to finish the levels and are easily found. The other repeating ornaments are not needed and can be skipped. Although one is needed to be stolen by a mouse for the trophy “Squeaky Thief!”. The following miscellaneous trophies will mostly unlock through natural play but could be missed so are listed below.
“Squeaky Thief!” – Recover a stolen item from a mouse
“Nice on the Ice!” – Slide for at least 5 consecutive seconds on ice using Rocket Skates.
“Freeze-A-Foe!” – Freeze a foe with a snowball.
“Out of Fuel!” – Use up all of your Jetpack’s fuel
“A Dashing Crash!” -Crash while using the Rocket Skates.
“A Jumping Grump!” – Jump on a bed.
“Treasure’s A Pleasure!” – Use Max to sniff out 5 buried treasures.
“Decoration Celebration!” – Collect multiple decorations all at once, and jump for joy!
“Storybook Look!” -Read through How The Grinch Stole Christmas! in Who-ville Square.
“More Grinch Lore!” – Read through How The Grinch Lost Christmas! in Who-ville Square.
Reward Hoard!
Collect every trophy in the game.
“4:00, wallow in self-pity; 4:30, stare into the abyss; 5:00, solve world hunger, tell no one; 5:30, jazzercise; 6:30, dinner with me—I can’t cancel that again; 7:00, wrestle with my self-loathing… I’m booked.”

Christmas Tree Spree!
Decorate your tree with all 23 unique ornaments.
At the end of each level, right before the portal, there will be a unique ornament, they are unmissable. At the end of each world, head to the Christmas tree in the hub world and hang the ornaments.
Squeaky Thief!
Recover a stolen item from a mouse.
Can be unlocked in Level 1. Collect one of the ornaments and let a mouse hit you and steal the item. Chase after it and hit it to get the ornament back.
Nice on the Ice!
Slide for at least 5 consecutive seconds on ice using Rocket Skates.
On any of the levels with the Rocket Skates, find some ice and skate around in circles until the trophy pops. The Grinch first gains access to the skates in level 5.
Cool Tool!
Pick up your first gadget.
Story related – The Jetpack is the first gadget you pick up in the tutorial level 3.
Freeze-A-Foe!
Freeze a foe with a snowball.
Snowball Maker is first found in Level 7, when equipped target a foe and fire snowballs at it until it is frozen.
Out of Fuel!
Use up all of your Jetpack’s fuel.
In level three, the Grinch is introduced to the Jetpack. Press and hold R2 until the fuel has run out; it will recharge once he has landed.
Tool Tag!
Pick up each gadget once.
There are three gadgets
Jetpack found in level 3
Rocket Skates found in level 5
Snowball Maker in Level 7
A Dashing Crash!
Crash while using the Rocket Skates.
When the rocket skates are acquired, hold R2 and make sure to hit a wall.
A Jumping Grump!
Jump on a bed.
In level 1 head to the Grinch’s bed and jump on it.
Snowball Fall!
Get hit by a rolling snowball.
Snowballs are introduced in the tutorial levels, get hit by one and press X to escape.
Big-Bang Box!
Activate an exploding box.
Have the Grinch jump on any exploding box and run away so as not to get hit. They are found in every level after the first tutorial ones.
Open Seussame!
Open a locked door.
Story related – In level 1, the Grinch is tasked with collecting three keys to open a door.
Acts of Max!
Use Max to bop a button.
Story related – In the tutorial levels, to progress press O on the the cage with a pressure pad in the middle utilising the Grinch’s dog Max to press it and open a door.
Treasure’s A Pleasure!
Use Max to sniff out 5 buried treasures.
In the first level, Max’s digging ability is explained as a tutorial. Around this area are 5 buried treasures total. Dig them all up to unlock.
Decoration Celebration!
Collect multiple decorations all at once, and jump for joy!
Will come naturally as you play if collecting multiple decorations at once and jumping.
Cherry on Top!
Unlock all visual enhancements for Who-ville Square.
Speak with Cindy-Lou, who will give the Grinch 5 visual enhancements, to unlock all items 5,000 total decorations will need to be collected. If you collect most of the decorations while playing the levels, it is likely 5000 will be collected around reaching the final world.
