Welcome to Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown. Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown is a story-driven survival strategy game in which the fate of the iconic starship is in your hands. Take the helm, manage the ship and resources, and make difficult decisions. Will you be able to bring home the ship and its crew? Did you ever wonder what would have happened had Captain Janeway decided differently? If an important crew member had followed a different path? Or what the outcome would have been had the crew of the U.S.S. Voyager embraced Borg technology to increase their chances of survival? Restore destroyed rooms, secure life support and energy supplies, and start constructing. Ship systems, crew quarters, industrial and research facilities: You must decide what to build and when, to ensure the ship has what it needs for the perilous journey. Expedite research into different fields. New technologies and improved layouts will not only strengthen the ship but also boost your crew’s morale. Exotic and dangerous research, like the technology of the Borg, is also within your reach. As captain, will you embrace it for the potential it offers, or will you omit it for the dangers it presents? For away missions, put together a team based on the individual talents of your crew. A team with skills that complement each other might be best suited for the task, but it is up to you to call the shots. Minimize the risk for the team’s members, rush headlong into danger, or take a scientific approach – you decide. When diplomacy fails, the U.S.S. Voyager and its crew are ready to enter ship combat at your command. From the bridge, you give commands for offensive and defensive maneuvers, targeting enemy ship systems and using special weaponry. And even during ship combat, the individual skills of your crew members come into play: Assign battle stations to crew who bring precious skills to the table and trigger them in crucial moments to maximize your combat effectiveness.
Stage 1 – Play the Story while Recruiting Specific Characters.
Choose to play the game on Adventure difficulty as even this will have challenging parts due to the random number generator for all events and situations. You will need to have a specific set of characters recruited and have them return with you all the way back to earth. At the same time you will need to upgrade the skills of characters that you frequently use in away missions. It is recommended to play through nearly all of the side missions so that you will increase the skills of your characters that go on away missions. You will also need to research upgrades for the abilities of the Voyager (5 different Tech Tree categories), upgrade the Voyager by constructing, and upgrading rooms. This game has RNG in almost every situation that you encounter so you may need to restart a sector if you mess up in recruiting a character or you kill everyone on board the ship by mistake. Even small choices can have bad consequences in this game. If you ever have a Game Over happen, you can either load an autosave or restart a sector. After you complete the game you will be able to replay an earlier sector to earn trophies that you missed in the story. However, if you need an earlier choice to affect another possibility later in the story, you will need to replay from the earliest sector you need through to where you need it to have the affect. An example is if you missed recruiting a character in sector 4 and you need them alive and onboard the Voyager, you will need to play continuously from sector 4 to the end of sector 12.
Stage 2 – Clean Up
You should only have a few trophies to still obtain. You can replay any sector that you need to and some may require a series of sectors to be replayed to obtain the associated trophy.

There are a total of 11 life supports on the Voyager that you will need to repair. Each one has a different set of resources and amounts that are needed to fix them. You will also need to progress the story until you have access to more of the Bio-Neural Gel Packs which are made from setting the Bio Laboratory to produce these. You can upgrade the Bio Laboratory up to level 3 so that you can make more of these to achieve this trophy faster.

Only 38, Right?
Fire a total of 38 torpedoes.
The voyager will come under attack during story progression and when travelling through space from planet to planet and sector to sector. You will have 38 photon torpedoes to use in these battles. Manually fire them as you like and need during any battles or encounters. You will need to use them all up to earn this trophy. You will be able to produce torpedoes later on in the story so you do not need to worry about using them up.

Armed To The Teeth
Have a combined combat strength of 250.
You can press the Touchpad and under the Combat Tab, you will be able to see what your combined combat strength is for your Voyager. You can add Combat rooms, Reinforce the ship hull, and ??? to increase this strength. It is recommended to aim to reach far above the combined combat strength of 250 to around 400 as this will make the later sectors quite easy and give you more available choices when you replay the later sectors for all of the endings to the game.

Resistance Is Not Futile
Defeat a Borg Cube.
You will be able to do this in Sector 10 as part of the story progression. You will go into battle with a Borg Cube and be victorious. Choose the heroes with the skills and abilities that you like best and you can either play this manually or you can Auto Resolve. The Auto Resolve will be an automatic battle where you select the number of photon torpedoes to use. It is recommended to play the battles manually as you will have the most control over the situation.

Triple-Armored Hull
Upgrade your hull capacity to the maximum of 1000.
You will need to increase the hull capacity to the maximum of 1000 by researching under the Combat Tab of the Tech Tree, all five of the Hull Reinforcement levels (I – V).
Note: There are possible events that pop up saying that one of your resources has critters eating and living in it. You will need to choose to destroy all of that resource as there is a possibility that not doing so could potentially permanently decrease your maximum hull capacity.

To Boldly Go…
Complete 20 away missions.
As you are playing through the sectors, you should be completing both the main missions and any side missions, until noted in specific trophy descriptions like Fully Human and Heghlu’meH QaQ jajvam!. This will guarantee that you have at least 20 away missions during your play through. You will earn this trophy once you have completed your 20th away mission.

Against All Odds
Complete an away mission with less than the needed heroes.
It is recommended to attempt completing this trophy during the first few sectors when away missions involve less steps and lower level requirements to be successful. When you are choosing the heroes to include in the away mission, look at the skills/abilities that are recommended and any special traits. If the mission has only two or three steps, then this would be a good mission to try with only two of your strongest heroes. You will earn this trophy as soon as you successfully complete any away mission with less than the needed heroes.

Flawless Execution
Complete 10 away missions without injury.
You will need to complete any 10 away missions without injury. Within the first few sectors, you will have enough away missions, if you are doing all the side missions along with the main missions, to complete more than 10 away missions. Choose the heroes with the best stats and traits that match the requirements for the missions. There is a bonus in the final score after an away mission for not having anyone take an injury. Remember that when you are doing an away mission and you choose an available option, you can add one or more heroes to the different steps to guarentee success. However, after each time a hero is used, they will become tired from doing that step. Choose someone(s) else to complete the next step so their stats are higher. Alternating the use of heroes will help to keep their stats higher throughout the away mission.

Delta Quadrant Tourist
Visit a total of 150 points of interest.
As you visit the various sectors, you will need to scan planets and then travel to them or other points of interest. As you are playing the main missions and side missions, you should be aiming to go to as many places as possible so that you can collect as many resources as possible. Between places, you can research and then build/upgrade as many as possible to make the later sectors easier to play and to be successful. You will earn this trophy as soon as you have visited at least 150 points of interest.

More Than A Starship
Build 100 rooms.
You will need to build 100 rooms. You will need to remove the debris and then build any rooms. You can then destroy rooms and with the Engineering Tech Tree item called Material Recovery, you will be able to get back all the resources used in constructing a room. Quick and easy rooms to build are: Emergency Quarters, Small Battery Compartments, or Cargo Bay.

We Will Adapt
Unlock the borg Tech Tree.
In Sector 5 you will need to complete the side mission called Unity. Once this mission is completed you will have access to the Borg Tech Tree.

A Promise Kept
Fulfill 10 ship event promises.
As you are playing through the sectors, there are random events that will pop up where you are asked to complete an event that could be instantaneous like sending crew members on a vacation time or be an event to complete an outcome within so many cycles. Sometimes you may need to unlock the necessary items in the Tech Tree, use the Workshop to produce something, or research/analyze a specific thing.
