Stage 1 – Complete the campaign + Scavenger runs
There are a total of 7 chapters you’ll need to complete on Veteran difficulty. Each chapters takes around 15-20 minutes to complete.
You should take the manchette as your main weapon (as soon as you obtain it in the storyline). Guns are totally overrated and aren’t effective at all in killing walkers.
With the manchette, take short stabs to the walkers heads in order to take them out swiftly. If a lot of walkers are present, go into a corner or building, so they can’t attack you all at once. You’ll create a chokepoint, in which zombies will become stuck to each order, allowing you to pick them off easy.
Upgrading weapons:
As mentioned before, it is best to use the Machete, as it kills walkers fast (1-2 hits). You should upgrade this weapon as soon as possible, so that it penetrates armor too!
Materials:
The game has a total of 8 materials for you to farm, those are:
– Wood (common)
– Metal
– Adhesive
– Abrasive
– Lubricant
– Chemical
– Electric
– Fiberglass (rare)
Purple and pink items are often found in the grey containers & red toolboxes.
Scavenger runs:
During Scavenger runs, focus on the following:
– Always check the wooden weapon boxes, you need to find all weapons/tools and get 1 kill with each. Finding all tools can be a pain in your ass!
– Check basements for rare materials.
– Collect purple and pink materials.
In terms of difficulty: Only pick veteran difficulty if you can survive. Dying will only grant you 50% of the collected materials.
We Are The Walking Dead
Earn all Trophies
Embrace All Death
Fully Upgrade All Weapons in the Armory
There are a total of 18 weapons with each 4 upgrades + weapon tools with 1 upgrade. That makes a total of 73 upgrades. You should not have to farm too much upon completing the story if you do 2 scavenger runs for each campaign mission.
In the final scavenger runs, you’ll get much more loot than the previous ones, so try to farm materials in there.
Green triangle: Mod upgrade already purchased
Yellow triangle: Mod upgrade can be purchased
Red triangle: not enough materials to buy the upgrade.
A New Beginning
Complete Alexandria by Gaining the Max Population, Building All Buildings, Upgrading All Buildings to Max Level, and Completing the Campaign.
Max population: 25
Reach maximum population by gathering food in scavenger runs, finding food in the campaign & upgrading the farm building.
Available buildings:
Town Hall: Grants extra max health
The Stockpile: Grant extra food after each mission
The Forge: You find extra ammo.

The Windmill: You salvage an extra recourse for every 3 resources found.
Building a building is quite expensive, upgrading them however is a lot cheaper. For the early game it is important to get the Town Hall maxed out quick. After that, you should focus on the Windmill.
Completing the campaign:
There are a total of 7 chapters within the campaign. Try to complete them on Veteran right away. A good strategy for that is explained in stage , or in the trophy below.
