Welcome to the trophy guide for The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Stage 1 – Introduction


The Curious tale of the Stolen pets is a VR game that tells the tale of two siblings, who always had a fight as young children. The story is told through the eyes of their grandfather. While playing the game you will visit worlds of their imagination. In those worlds you will need to find all animals, coins & berries. You can find animals by solving puzzles.

While playing, keep in mind that each world has it’s own misc. trophy
Summer house – Poke the dog while it’s on the swing
Winter – Throw a snowball at the train
Aquarium – Transform all rocks into pearls
Prehistoric – Feed the plant a watermelon
Showtime – Pull all the unique items from the hat


Stage 2 - Summer House.

There are 3 animals in the Summer House, and they can be found doing the following:
The Dog – Poke the water bowl next to the swing.
The Kitten – Pour tea into the cup, hit the giant clock, then hit the leaves.
The Bunny – Hit the 3 hidden buttons, then open the chest.

There are 5 coins within the Summer House. Those can be found by looking out for sparkling stars on objects.

Coin #1: In the chimney of the house.
Coin #2: On the floating rock beneath the tea-cup.
Coin #3: Left next to the candle (180 degrees to the left from spot 2).
Coin #4: Between the house and the candle, on the grass.
Coin #5: In the three, where the branches start to split.

There are a total of 4 doors, which can be found here:
Door #1: Within the house, on top on the mountain
Door #2: Behind the giant tree, a bit below the house.
Door #3: Facing the tea-cup, on the right.
Door #4: Behind the candle

The berries within this level are the blue ones, which you can find in the green bushes.

Stage 3 - Winter.

There are 5 animals in the winter level, and they can be found doing the following:

The air blower can be found just before the train tunnel entry. To break the ice, have the train stop on the upper level, and attach the card behind it. (traffic light will be green). Once that is done, make the train stop on the lower level where you will see the air blower. Now press the button and a little hammer will break the ice.

The Polar bear – Make the train ride through the love entry (Use the air blower to melt the ice, making the switch visible). Once the train made it through, open the cart behind it.
The Penguin – Put the salt and sprinkle the slope with it. Snowballs will appear. Use these snowballs (total of three) to make a snowman next to the sign. Once the snowman is complete, use the salt to destroy the snowman.
The Mole – Inside the lantern hanging on the rock.
The Mammoth – Hit the ice cone above the Mammoth (left of the slope) to release the mammoth.
The Squirrel – Put the nut inside the tree trunk (defrost first with air blower).

There are 9 coins within the Winter level. Those can be found by looking out for sparkling stars on objects.

Coin #1: On the roof of the cabinet, next to the chimney. It lies left of the air blower. (Use air blower to clear the snow)
Coin #2: On top of the rail tunnel entry, just before the mammoth
Coin #3: On top of the giant beanie (cap) on top of the mountain
Coin #4: Between the trees on the floating rock that pillars the railway. To the right when seeing the “SNOWMAN” sign.
Coin #5: Where you found the air blower.
Coin #6: On the right of the mammoth
Coin #7: On the tunnel-exit of the rails (to the right of the lantern).
Coin #8: On top of the lantern.
Coin #9: On top of the highest mountain before the tiny house.

There are a total of 4 doors, which can be found here:
Door #1: Above the air blower.
Door #2: Door of the cabinet (left of door #1).
Door #3: On the backside of the giant beanie (cap). Look down and you will find a door (far left of the slope).
Door #4: On top of the giant mountain lies a house, it has a door.

The berries within this level are the red ones, which you can find in the green bushes.


Stage 4 -Aquarium.

There are 5 animals in the Aquarium level, and they can be found doing the following:

The Octopus: Attach the hook (on the right side, below the little bridge) at the rope (on the ship)
The Tortoise: Inside the diver’s helmet. The code to open the helmet is:
Left button: Triangle icon
Right icon: Star icon
Upper button: Square icon
Pelican: Raise the water, hit the submarine. It will shine light on an eel, revealing a Tuna opener. Lower the water, and you will find a ship drifting along. Use the Tuna opener on the ship.
Crab: Take the shell (On the left of the eel, behind the starfish) and place it next to the crab (inside a little can, on the left of the ship)
Seahorse: Raise the water, put a rock inside the clam (Little above the ship), it will spawn a pearl. Put the pearl inside the chest (left of the crab).

There are 9 coins within the Aquarium level. Those can be found by looking out for sparkling stars on objects.

Coin #1: On the floating island rock, left of the skull chest.
Coin #2: Between the ship and the pillar rock.
Coin #3: Left of the can with the crab inside, on the cliff.
Coin #4: Inside the ship, when you release the octopus.
Coin #5: Inside the shower head.
Coin #6: At the shower head conduit (lead), on the ground between the 3 rocks. Behind the diver’s helmet.
Coin #7: On top of the house with the leaves as a roof
Coin #8: Inside the ship, on the left of the flag
Coin #9: On the coral reef bedside, to the left of the diver’s helmet.

There are a total of 4 doors, which can be found here:
Door #1: Above the skull chest.
Door #2: Left of the diver’s helmet.
Door #3: On the right of the ship.
Door #4: The little house on top of the rock has a door.

The berries within this level are the green coconuts, which you can find in the palm trees. The trophy should pop once you collect them. This is the last level you collect berries in.


Stage 5 - Prehistoric.

There are 5 animals in the Prehistoric level, and they can be found doing the following:

Triceratops: Remove the giant melon. Behind the melon is the dinosaur.
Dodo: Take the brush (to the right of the watermill, underneath the rocks) and wipe the dust off the rocks (underneath the roots, right of the brush). Take the bone and feed it to the plant. You can now free your second dinosaur inside the cage.
Baby T-rex: Place the giant watermelon on top of the volcano, making it erupt. Now place the little watermelons on top of the volcano. Fire will erupt from the volcano for each watermelon you place inside it. While doing so, face a different torch (3 torches) or the campfire. This way, they will become lit. Once all 4 fire sources are lit, you will be able to open the door on the left of the campfire.
Pterosaur: Reroute the water to the flower by interacting with the rocks near the waterfall. This will reveal an egg, place it in the nest near the top of the volcano.
Lion: Fix the watermill by placing the 2 rocks, then reroute the water to the watermill. The crane with the box will start working, revealing the lion.

There are 9 coins within the Prehistoric level. Those can be found by looking out for sparkling stars on objects.

Coin #1: Behind the giant watermelon, where you can find the Triceratops.
Coin #2 On the platform where the A.I walks, on the far right.
Coin #3: In the waterfall, on the volcano.
Coin #4: Between the volcano and the flesh eating plant.
Coin #5: Behind the plant (lily) that spawns the yellow egg.
Coin #6: In the bird nest.
Coin #7 Behind the campfire.
Coin #8: In the archaeologist plate when dusted off.
Coin #9: In front of the archaeologist plate (where you can find the bone), in the plants.

There are no doors or berries in this level.


Stage 6 - Showtime.

There are 5 animals in the Showtime level, and they can be found doing the following:

From the castle roof, pull the magic wand.
Cat: Hit the three magic cups with the magic wand, revealing an animal.
Bunny: Hit the magician’s hat with the magic wand.
Dove: Hit the pack of cards with the magic wand, grab the flying card. Place it inside the theater on the bird’s swing. Close the curtains by hitting it with the magic wand, then open them
Mouse: Pull the key from the magician’s hat, use it on the backside of the tower with the red roof. Use the magic wand on the fuse to blow the rocket to the moon.
Unicorn: Line up the castle tower by matching the icons on it. Then pull the golden star from the magician’s hat and place it on top of the tower. Hit the door, revealing the unicorn


There are 9 coins within the Showtime level. Those can be found by looking out for sparkling stars on objects.

Coin #1: On top of the theater, in front of the magician’s hat
Coin #2: Near the little house, behind the balloons
Coin #3: Behind the book
Coin #4: On the right of the magic cups, on the ground
Coin #5: On the right of the magic cups, where the tulips are
Coin #6: In front of the card pack
Coin #7: Between the giant castle and the theater
Coin #8: On the left of the tower with the red roof (looking from the theater)
Coin #9: On the right of the tower with the red roof (looking from the theater)

The doors in the final level can be a bit tricky to find. This is because the castle has a lot of little doors for you to open.

Door #1: Above the magic cups, before the bridge.
Door #2: To the right of the magic theater.
Door #3: Above the magic cups, same level as the bridge, to the left.
Door #4: Above the magic cups, same level as the bridge, to the right.
Door #5: Behind the magic hat.
Door #6: Left of the magic cards (near the theater).
Door #7: Pink door that spawns the unicorn.
Door #8: Between the magic cups and the magic book.

 True Ending
Get the true ending by finding all the animals in all worlds

Find all the animals in each of the 5 levels. Refer to the stages for more information on this.


 Bedroom story
Complete the story

Complete all levels and this trophy will pop.


 Summer House
Find all the animals at the summer house.

Refer to Stage 2.


 Winter Vacation World
Find all the animals in the winter vacation world.

Refer to Stage 3.


 Aquarium World
Find all the animals in the aquarium world.

Refer to Stage 4.


 Prehistoric World
Find all the animals in the prehistoric world

 Magic World
Find all the animals in the magic world.

Refer to stage 6.


 Swing Spot
Poke the swing while dog is on it.

In the first level, one of the animals is a dog. You can find it by poking the water bowl. The dog will appear and jump onto the swing. While it is on the swing, poke it.


 Open all doors
Open all doors in all worlds.

Refer to Stage 2-6 for all the door locations.


 Pearl Jam
Create pearls of all rocks in a single round.

In the Aquarium level, you will spot an oyster with rocks next to it. Put all the rocks inside the oyster (one by one) and this trophy will pop.


 Meat eater goes vegan
Let the meat eating plant eat watermelon.

In the fourth level, Prehistoric, feed the plant a watermelon.


 Magic World special
Pick up all unique objects from the hat.

In the final level, Showtime, pull all the objects from the magic hat. It can take a few pulls before all items spawn.

You can pull a: Shell, watermelon, key, rubber duck, golden star, nut, clock,


 Fort Knox
Collect all the coins.

Refer to Stages 2-6 for all coin locations.


 Marauder
Throw a snowball at the train in the Winter Vacation World.

In the second level, Winter, throw a snowball at the train. A snowball can be spawned by using the “salt” on the slope.

Spawning a snowball is required to find the penguin, so you should not have too much trouble.


 Berries
Pick all the berries in all levels.

Refer to stages 2-4 for all the berry locations
