Welcome to the trophy guide for The Bunker. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox One, Series X and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4/5 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Welcome to The Bunker! As the last remaining survivor in a nuclear bunker, John’s daily routine is the one thing that keeps him sane. But when an alarm goes off, his mind starts to self-destruct. Venture into long forgotten areas, recover repressed childhood memories and unlock the dark secrets of The Bunker. The Bunker is a completely live-action experience, filmed on location in a decommissioned government nuclear bunker with a plot crafted by writers behind The Witcher, SOMA and Broken Sword. Starring an incredible cast including Adam Brown (The Hobbit), Sarah Greene (Penny Dreadful) and Grahame Fox (Game of Thrones).


Stage 1 – Follow the Walkthrough.


Follow the walkthrough to play through the story earning the majority of trophies. Once you have completed the game once, you can continue the game to earn the remaining trophies as you will be very close to the end of the game where there is a choice based trophy that you will earn. It is recommended to read through the walkthrough and pause the game when needed so that you do not miss any collectibles or Quick Time Events (QTEs). There is no chapter select in the game so something missed will require another playthrough to obtain.

Walkthrough of the Story


Notes: 1. Before starting a new game, it is recommended to set the brightness to maximum and increase the cursor sensitivity to maximum.
2. If you do not see where to interact with on the screen, move the cursor around until an interaction point or points show up.
3. There are 6 different interaction points and they are:
a) The radiating white circle icon (like Breath).
b) White circle icon (most used throughout the game).
c) White circle icon with a black circle icon (you will need to drag the white circle towards that black circle).
d) White circle with footprints (move in the direction indicated).
e) White circle icon with a dial that is counting off ticks (QTE – a quick time event).
f) White circle icon with a horizontal meter bar that fills in as you interact with it (mash the white circle as fast as possible to fill the meter)
4.) Always leave documents open for a few seconds and make sure to look through all pages (left, right, up, and down depending on what is indicated).
5.) Always listen to the recordings of the Cassettes.

Start the game, there will be an introductory part and you will need to press on the white circle to continue the game by breathing. Then select the Bible (Book #1) (Last Goodbye trophy).

Interact with the page and select 1.) Medical – vitamins – dosimeter. Interact with the cabinet door, then select the brown bottle on the top shelf. Next select the gray tube from the shelf lower down in the cabinet. Interact with the white circle by holding it to continue the game. Next select 2.) radio. You will need to select the icon to the left of his hand and then do the same with the right of his hand, then select 3) Radiation Check. Interact with the bottom right to turn it on. Next select: Perform bunker radiation check? Select 4) Food. Select a box on the right side of the screen. Select 5) Mother. Important: Interact with the puzzle picture to the upper right of the bed first. Then select the spot near at the top where the missing puzzle piece is. If you do not do this, this puzzle piece will not appear later in the game from where you will need to collect it for a trophy. After select the person in the bed. Interact with the page (Document #1) and stay on it for a few seconds before leaving it. Next interact with the books on the small nightstand and choose the middle book (Book #2).

Interact with 1) medical and press and hold the circle. Select 2) radio then 3) perform bunker radiation check and lastly interact with 4) food. In the next part you will automatically read the third book (Bookworm trophy).

Interact with 1) medical and press and hold the circle, next select 3) perform bunker radiation check (The Routine trophy).

Interact with the toys and then press under them to open the drawers. Interact with the top drawer to find “My diary” (Document #2). Read through all the pages slowly, waiting 5 – 6 seconds before going to the next.

Choose the middle drawer and then open the bottom cabinet drawer to find the “maintenance book” (Document #3). Read through the pages for about 5 – 6 seconds. Afterwards he will take the doll of “mother” (Toy #1) (Mother trophy).

Next interact with the door to the left. Interact with the footprints to move towards the doors. Interact with the door on the right and then press on the left page on a clipboard (Document #4).

Go back to the hallway and interact with door at the end of the hallway. Interact with the page on the right bed and then press again to look at it more closely (Document #5) Inside this room press on the door at the back. Interact with the radiation warning map to its left.

Go back to the hallway and select the footsteps on the bottom of the screen. Then press the door on the other side of the hallway. Interact with the white circle by holding it and moving it to the black circle.

Interact with the door directly behind and then select the drawers on the right. Open the top and select the drawings and look slowly through them (Document #6). Open the middle drawer and press on the key in the top area to the left. Go back out to the hallway and use the key on the locked door by selecting the white circle and holding it towards the black circle.

Interact with the circle to continue. Now open the door on the left close to the level 2 sign (Failure trophy).

Near the middle of the screen you can interact to turn on the lights. Interact with the recorder under the lamp to the left of your character (Cassette #1). Press play and listen to the recording and interact with the stop button. Interact with the computer with the light shining on it. On the screen interact with all four of the items (1) Regional reports, 2) Medical reports, 3) Personal logs, 4) Misc.) and read each one slowly (Document #6). Back out of the computer after you have finished reading each item (Computer #1).

Press on the page that is left of the computer and read it slowly (Document #7).

Interact with the double door in the top left corner. Press on the toy in the bottom right next to the filing cabinet (Toy #2) (Sam trophy). Interact with the map on the left and then back out. Select the far right door. At the middle bottom area of the floor you will interact with the toy (Toy 3) (Doctor trophy). Next interact with the far right on the recorder for another cassette (Cassette #2) and listen to the message. Interact with the document (Document #8) that is right of the recorder. Press on the blackboard and the map and listen to the dialogue. Back out to get back to where you picked up the toy. Interact with the far left door and then select the filing cabinet and interact with the second drawer to find a vinyl record. Next select the door and you will be at the fuse box. Back out of this room and select the second door from the right. There will be a Quick Time Event that you will need to be successful with. Be ready in the middle of the screen as this is where it will occur. Next interact with the CRT monitors on the left to turn them on and then turn them off. Back out and select the toy (Toy #4) (Commissioner trophy) on the floor to the right.

Use the footprints to go to the computer and select it. Select NEXT on the bottom right of each page to read through all of them and then LOGOUT (Computer #2). Interact with the document (Document #9) to the left of the computer keyboard and read it. Interact with the microphone. Back out and go back to the room with the fuse box. Select the left side to open the panel up. Interact with the brown box on top and then the blue power box. Slide and hold the white circle to the black circle on the blue lever. Interact with the fuse on the right to replace it. Back out and select the blue power box. Slide the white circle by holding it to the black circle. Back up of the rooms to end up back in the stairwell. Interact with the footprints to go up the stairs.

Select the desk and then the computer. Interact with the door on the left and then select the far door again. Select the footprint to the left to go downstairs (Replace Fuse trophy).

Select the left light switch and interact with the toy (Toy #5) (Soldier trophy) on the table.

Press on the map. There will be a Quick Time Event next. This will be on the lower left of the screen. Select the toy on the left.

Interact with the map that is second from the left. Then interact with the map on the right. Interact with the door and then interact with the door on the left.

Interact with the pull cord light. On the right there are boxes and you will press on the middle one. Select the document (Document #10) and read it. Back out and to the right of the boxes is a Bag on top that you need to interact with. Next select the green suit on the left on the rack. Continue to select back out until you are out of the room that had the maps in it (Alarm trophy).

Select the footprints to go down the stairs. Press on the door on the left. Click on the lamp on the right and then click on the computer. Next press on the Enter button on the keyboard. Then select the draw below the computer and open the top drawer. Interact with the toy (Toy #6) (Engineer trophy). Press on the document (Document #11) that is left of the toy in the same drawer. Back out and then select the document (Document #12) that is below the lamp. Back out of this room and then on the right, select the ladder. Interact with the top rung of the ladder. Next you will continuously press on the white circle to close the valve.

Interact with the left side wall to select the filtration system. Select the top right valve and then interact with the filter on the right side. On the left side press on the small door and interact with the handle on the bottom right side. Opposite side of the filtration system will be a box that you can interact with to get a new filter. Interact with the left filter and then select the handle on the filtration system to open it and then place it inside where you took the broken one out. Back out and go to the previous room where the computer was located. Interact with the computer and press enter on the keyboard again (Floppy Disk Finder trophy).

Back out of this room and go back to the ladder and onto the top rung and interact with the valve (Air Filtration trophy).

When you are back in the stairwell there will be a couple of times where you will need to continuously press on the white circle to progress the story. Interact with the white circle near his hand. Continuously interact with the forearm bone until it is not visible. Next there will be a Quick Time Event so have your cursor in the center of the screen. Interact with the it.

Select the cabinet and interact with the bottle of Lindane solution on the top-right shelf (Document #13). Make sure to click on the bottle to read the back label also. Back out and now select the long scissors and ruler on the bottom shelf.

Next you will have to move the white circle to the black circle for a total of three times to make the makeshift split for his forearm.

You will then be at a computer where you will need to continuously press on the white circle to the left of the computer (Broken trophy).

Interact with the footprints at the bottom of the screen and then select the toy (Toy #7) (Nurse trophy) above your head.

Select the box on the bottom left and interact with the document (Document #14) and read it (No Page Unturned trophy). Back out to get back to the hallway. Select the door in front of you (Radiation trophy).

Select the Emergency door and then interact with the toy (Toy #8) (Churchill trophy) on the left side of the floor.

Interact with the footprints on the right side. Select the map and move your cursor over the map to see the hidden information. Back out to the previous room and then select the map on the left wall. Back out and then interact with the bottom of the rectangular device in the center of the room. 

Next you will continuously press the white circle to move the device and then repeat the same process to open the floor’s trapdoor. There will be a QTE event while going down the ladder that will be in the center of the screen. Press on it when indicated.

Interact with the recorder on the bottom right to get the cassette (Cassette #3) and listen to it, then back out (Press Play trophy). On the bottom left will be a toy (Toy #9) (General trophy and Friends trophy).

Interact with the left side of the gate and continuously press the white circle to open it (Descent trophy).

Interact with the left wall to obtain a flashlight and then back out. Select the right bottom area and then press on the small door. Next there will be a Quick Time Event where you will have to press near the middle of the screen.

Interact behind your character and then press continuously on the white circle. Then select the end of the hallway door. There will be a Quick Time Event next so have your cursor in the center of the screen. Interact with it and then there will be another Quick Time Event where you will press to the lower right side of the screen. Select the door to the left. The keycode is 3786 and after you input it the door will unlock. Go through the open door (Awakenings trophy).

To the left you will interact with the indicated point. Next when your character points the flashlight to the left there will be a white circle to interact with and you will go into the vent (Cold Storage trophy).

Interact with the puzzle piece on the lower left inside the vent (The Missing Piece trophy). Interact with the footprints to move forward in the vent. Select the middle red key. Press the footprints to go up the stairs. There will be two Quick Time Event . Move your cursor near the middle right side of the screen where you will have to continuously press until it is over as quickly as possible. The next Quick Time Event event will be in the lower left of the screen where you will have to continuously press until it is over as quickly as possible.

The next part will be a choice where you will decide either the left or right choice to make. Select the choice to leave and you will then need to press on the white circle to breath (Leave trophy).

After the story ends you can skip the credits and continue the game where you are now back on the stairs. You will have to complete the two Quick Time Event that you previously completed and when you are at the option to stay or leave, you will need to choose to stay (Stay trophy and Platinum trophy).




Stage 2 – Collectible Cleanup (if needed).


If you missed any collectibles in the game, you will have to replay the entire game until you have collected the one(s) you may have missed during your first playthrough.

Platinum Trophy

During Chapter 3 there will be a puzzle picture on the wall above mother’s bed that you will need to interact with and then the missing puzzle piece area on it. See Stage 1 – Follow the Walkthrough above.

Read all documents.

There are 14 documents that you will need to find and interact with. Make sure to read through all of these slowly and carefully by moving in the direction of page turning – up, down, left, or right so that all pages will count as being read. See Stage 1 – Follow the Walkthrough above.
