Welcome to the trophy guide for Nephenthesys. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox One, Series X and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4/5 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Stage 1 – Complete the Game
Completing the game, by killing the Stage 5 boss, will earn you all trophies including the kill related trophies, the upgrade collectible trophies and the score trophy, which will be earned during Stage 3.
It is recommended to choose the 3rd ship available to you from the start called Green Dragon, as this has a wide spread shot (Scatter Gun) and a decent drone (Tornado Bounce).
Collect enough upgrades to fill the bar and have a drone appear to your left, just before collecting another upgrade, use the drone. Rinse and repeat. (Upgrades get dropped from killed enemies and will fly around the screen for a short while for you to fly in to and collect, they look like a blue orb).
The upgrade bar acts like a shield, so if you get hit you will lose 1 bar, collect another upgrade to fill it. If you are down to 1 bar and feel like you might die, then in order to not lose a life, pause the game and select restart. Yes, you will have to start the level again, like you would if you died, but you will still have all lives remaining, as losing all 3 lives means game over.
Wing Master
Unlock all other trophies.
Surviving until the end and killing the Stage 5 boss is all that is required for the platinum, as all the kill, score and upgrade collectible related trophies will pop during the 1 playthrough.

Hunter II
Kill 1000 enemies.
Hunter III
Kill 2500 enemies.
Simply killing this amount of enemies will pop this trophy, easily achieved during the one playthrough needed. Select the 3rd green ship available called Green Dragon. Hold down the fire button constantly, collect the upgrade orbs until you have a drone available, just before collecting another upgrade, use the drone. Rinse and repeat. This will help clear the screen of enemies and keep your shields up, and earn you this trophy.
Banker I
Collect 5 upgrades.
Banker II
Collect 50 upgrades.
Banker III
Collect 125 upgrades.
Upgrades get dropped from killed enemies and will fly around the screen for a short while for you to fly in to and collect, they look like a blue orb. Collecting them fills up a bar that acts like a shield, and when full gives you the ability to use your drone, which will be visible to the left of your ship. Just before collecting another upgrade, use the drone. Rinse and repeat. This trophy will easily pop during the one playthrough needed.

Beat stage 1.

Beat stage 2.
Protector III
Beat stage 3.
Protector IV
Beat stage 4.
Protector V
Beat stage 5.
Score King
Score more than 50,000 points in a single run.
Very easily earned during the playthrough on Stage 3. Killing enemies and collecting upgrades will earn you points. Dying or restarting a level will reset the score to whatever it was when you started that level, it won’t go back to 0. (Unless you do this on Level 1).
Hunter I
Kill 100 enemies.
