Welcome to House Flipper 2! It doesn’t matter if you’re a makeover veteran or if you’re only starting out – you’ll feel at home in no time!
House Flipper 2 introduces new mechanics and revamps the ones from the original game. The good old hammer, the trusty paint roller, and the sturdy mop, all await your return! The new visuals make our fixer-uppers look crisp as never before! Why renovate a house when you can just build one? Unleash your creativity in the Sandbox Mode! Use it to recreate real-life buildings or design projects that exist in your imagination. Remember: building from scratch is no easy task! But let’s face it, it’s definitely worth putting in extra effort to design the house of your dreams.

Stage 1 – Play the Story.

Play through the story to earn most trophies naturally. Some trophies will require you to complete certain tasks and these are explained below in the guide. Make sure to make note to collect all 9 Bessies along the way by referring to the Full House trophy description. You will need to buy and flip about 8 – 10 houses to fully upgrade the House Flipper Perks. Also, you will need to play the Sandbox Mode for a couple of trophies as noted below.

Stage 2 – Replay any Story Email and/or Flip More Houses.

If you missed a collectible for Full House you will need to replay the associated task to be able to search the house for the Bessie. After collecting the Bessie you can press Options > Go home and this will return you to your office. Any other trophies can be earned by referring to the details listed below.

World’s Best Flipper
Unlock all trophies.

Congratulations on completing all tasks and becoming a great house flipper!

With great power…
Unlock all perks.

As you play through the story mode you will be introduced to all of the different tools in the game and all of them have an associated Perk for each. There are 9 Perks in total and they each rank up to unlock new rewards/abilities.

The 9 Perks and how many times each needs to be ranked up to maximum is as follows:
1. Cleaning (5).
2. Collecting trash (4).
3. Painting (4).
4. Surface finishes (3).
5. Demolishing (3).
6. Building (4).
7. Flipper Tool (3).
8. Flipper Skills (5).
9. Selling houses (4).

Most will come naturally as you play the game. However, you may need to do extra Painting and Flipper Skills as these require more time to complete. It’s recommended to use the Flipper Skill (pressing L1) a lot during every task and house flipping when you are using a Tool that allows you to use this Sonar for identifying items that you are trying to locate like trash, items to sell, and stains.

Money sink
Spend your first 1,000,000.

As you play through the game, you will need to buy items to complete tasks and renovations from the Store in the game. As soon as you have spent 1,000,000 in the Store you will earn this trophy.

Millionaire
Earn your first 1,000,000.

As you play through the game, you will earn money for every task that you complete and from every house that you are able to flip and sell. As soon as you have earned 1,000,000 you will earn this trophy.

They come and they go
Sell 5 houses.

As you progress through the game, you will be buying houses, renovating the houses, placing the houses on the auction market, and selling them. As soon as you have sold your 5th house you will earn this trophy.

You did it!
And that’s the whole story.

The story will progress through 24 tasks/jobs through 3 different regions in the game. The regions and how many missions are listed below:
1. Pinnacove Suburbs (10).
2. Crayfish Coast (8).
3. Coralroot Forest (6).

Once you complete the tasks/jobs for a particular region, you will have the ability to look under the Emails for that region and under the Archives tab you can select any task/job to replay it. See the pictures below for more information.

Coralroot Forest
A job can’t hide even in the deepest forest.

You will need to complete all 6 tasks/jobs for the Coralroot Forest region. Refer to the You Did It! trophy for more information.

Business is booming
House flipping at its finest.

As soon as you buy your first house, renovate it, and then sell it on the auction market. You will then earn this trophy.

Tinkerer
You really love assembling items, don’t you?

On your in game Laptop, there is a tab for Assembly which allows you to learn how to assemble some items that you can place in your houses. You will need to complete 12 of them. For every time that you complete one of them, you will get a 2% discount for Simple difficulty items and a 4% discount for Moderate difficulty items on the cost of items in the Store. There are 5 Simple and 7 Moderate difficulty items to assemble. They will appear under the Assembly tab as you progress through the Story Mode. You do not need to 3 star these in order to earn the discount and count them as being completed for this trophy. See the pictures below for all 12 items to Assemble.

Marathon runner
Cover a distance of 42 km.

As you move around completing tasks and renovating your houses, you will naturally be moving around a bunch. This trophy should come naturally by playing through the story of the game. If it does not pop, then you can choose any task or house to renovate and walk around or sprint (hold L3 down and move forward) to increase your distance traveled to the needed amount of 42 km.

Change of mind
This color looked better in the store.

You will be able to buy items from the Store when you are renovating a house. Using your Flipper Tool you can change what actions it does by pressing L1 and selecting Change Style (for this trophy). You can then select an item that you bought and then change the colors. After you have confirmed the color changes these will count towards this trophy. You will need to do this 50 times and you can look at your trophy tracker on your PS5 to see how many you have completed along the way. See the pictures below for more information.

Charming talker
It’s good to know who you work for.

When you are playing through the Story Mode, you will sometimes get a phone call that you will need to answer by pressing L3 down. This will answer the phone and then you will have a short dialogue with the person who hired you to do the task/job. You will need to do this at least 5 times throughout the story to earn this trophy and there is an associated trophy tracker. See the pictures below for a few example calls.

Pinnacove Suburbs
No job in the suburbs can be left unfinished.

You will need to complete all 10 tasks/jobs for the Pinnacove Suburbs region.
Refer to the You Did It! trophy for more information.

Crayfish Coast
Everything on the coast seems more fun, even jobs!

You will need to complete all 8 tasks/jobs for the Crayfish Coast region. Refer to the You Did It! trophy for more information.

That was a lot
No stain can hide from you.

You will need to clean (scrub away) 3,000 stains in order to earn this trophy. Make sure when you are completing tasks and renovations that you are actively scrubbing away stains that you find. It is highly recommended to be spamming the Flipper Tool sense ( by pressing L1) at the same time when looking for stains to scrub away (by holding R2) until it disappears fully. The stains will highlight in a yellow orange color.

First steps
It’s just the beginning.

Complete your first task/job for the Story Mode to earn this trophy.

Change of environment
Why sell a house when you can move in?

You will given a starting house (office) when you begin the game. As you progress through the game eventually you will be able to buy houses from the Houses tab from your Laptop. As soon as you buy your first house, you will be able to move your office to the house you just purchased. As soon as you do this you will earn this trophy.

Deja vu
This job looks very familiar…

After you have completed all the tasks/jobs for a particular region, you will be able to open the Emails from that region and under Archives you will be able to “Start from scratch”. See the You Did It! trophy for the Tasks/Jobs for a particular region. See the picture below for more information.

Everything matches
Use the Flipper tool to copy and paste the item style 5 times.

Using your Flipper tool, you can press L1 to change its function. In this case you will be changing it to “Copy Style”. You will need to point at an item to copy its style and then point and press R2 on a new item to give (paste style) it the same style as the other. Not all items will work with this function. See the pictures below for more information.

Mount Everest
Cover a distance of 8828 m with a paint roller.

You will need to paint a distance of 8828 m with a paint roller. As you complete more tasks and buy houses and flip them, you will need to be painting quite a lot in order to increase your total. You can check the trophy counter to see how much you have progressed on your PS5.

Full house
How many Bessies are there?

There are a total of 9 times that you will need to find Bessie, and they are within 9 of the tasks/jobs during Story Mode. These will not be available in the houses that are on the real estate market if you buy from the House tab on your Laptop.

The 9 tasks/jobs are:

In Pinnacove Suburbs:
1. So you wanna be a house flipper? (In the bedroom on a shelf).
2. I have a new quest for you (In garage on a shelf).
3. Out with the old! (In the front entrance near a yellow rubber duck).
4. Making room for our new baby (Near the fireplace in a box).

In Crayfish Coast:
5. Tiny House to Flip (On the upper shelf before the washroom).
6. My crew is moving here (Beside the washing machine in a box).

In Coralroot Forest:
7. My house doesn’t feel like home (On a shelf near the piano on the second floor).
8. Exterior Renovation (On a dresser in a child bedroom on the second floor).
9. Adding music studio (In the kitchen in the upper corner cabinet).

If you do not collect these while you are playing Story Mode the first time they are available, you will have to replay the task/job after completing all the other tasks/jobs for that region and start from scratch. Once you find the missing Bessie you can press Options > Go home to return back to your office. See the pictures below for more information.

Full control
Connect 20 items to 1 switch and turn it on.

You will need to buy 20 items that use electricity, like ceiling lights, and place them on the ceiling of a room. One of your available tools as you progress through the Story Mode will be Edit Wiring. Then interact with the light switch in the room with the Edit wiring tool to connect (Add to group) to each of the lights that you placed. After connecting them all you will need to turn the light switch on. See the pictures below for more information.

As instructed
Assemble 1 item.

As you play through the game you will be introduced to the new concept of assembling items. The first item that you will assemble is putting up a framed picture on the wall. As soon as you have completed this task you will earn this trophy.

I’m grateful
Find Reva’s lost journal.

When you are playing Story Mode you will need to locate Reva’s lost journal that will be in a second floor bedroom on the floor during the task called “More light, please” in Coralroot Forest. Interact with the journal to pick it up and recover it for her to earn this trophy. See the picture below for more information.

The tables have turned
Someone has to make a mess for someone else to clean.

In Sandbox Mode you can make a mess by pressing L2 to bring up the Menu>Stains and Dirt OR Menu>Trash Generator. You then should set the details as shown in the pictures below to make and throw trash around your property. You can also make stains and place them all over any surfaces or structures that you make. Continue to make a mess until the trophy is earned. See the pictures for more information.

House hoarder
I keep them out of sentiment.

While playing through the Story Mode you can buy Houses to renovate and sell. For this trophy you will need to own 3 houses at one time. Your starting house that you are given in the game will count towards this trophy.

I’m an architect!
Building from the ground up is so much fun.

In Sandbox Mode you can use press L2 to bring up the Menu and then create any house that you want. It must have a floor, walls, a roof, a few windows, and a door in order for the game to register it as a house and count towards earning this trophy. See the picture below for more information.

Trick shot
Throw a trash bag into a bin 3 times in a row.

There are usually a few large bins (black, gray, yellow, blue, or red) that are located on the property of a location that you are working at. Typically they are out front of the house, in the driveway, in the garage, or sometimes in a stairwell in the basement. Place the large bin upright if needed and open its lid. Next, pick up any trash bags that you have and throw it into the bin. Continue to repeat this so that you get at least 3 into the large bin in a row without missing to earn this trophy.

Hello?
Catch up with an old friend.

As soon as you start the Story Mode and you access your first task/job, you will earn this trophy when you arrive at the property.

Work smart, not hard
Who said an outdoor bin has to be outside?

At any property, pick up a large bin that is outside of the house and carry it into the house.

It ain’t that easy
Someone’s trash isn’t always another’s treasure.

Using the Flipper tool it is automatically set to the option to sell items. You will need to try to sell a bag of trash that you have collected.

The Fast and the Cleanest
Finish a job in less than 5 minutes.

During Story Mode, you can play the task/job called “So you wanna be a house flipper?” (Pinnacove Suburbs) and complete it in less than 5 minutes by earning the minimum of one star. To do this you will need to collect some trash in garbage bags and clean up some stains. It will likely be easier to accomplish this by waiting until after you have upgraded your Perks for Collecting Trash and Cleaning and finished all of the tasks/jobs for Pinnacove Suburbs. You can start this task/job from scratch under the Email > Pinnacove Suburbs > Archives > So you wanna be a house flipper?.

Fully prepared
Unlock all tools in Story Mode.

As you play through the early stages of the Story Mode, you will complete various tasks to learn the “how-to-do’s” of the game as tutorials. Once you have completed all of this part of the game, you will have access to all the tools in Story Mode and you will now be able to buy houses to be able to flip them.

Custom PC cooling
Put a laptop in the fridge.

In Story Mode, you will be in a house to start the game, your Laptop will be in the Kitchen on the counter. You can open the Refrigerator and pick up the Laptop (easiest if you close it) and then place it on a shelf inside of the Refrigerator.

Don’t try this at home!
Spray an electrical outlet while cleaning.

The tool that allows you to use Spray will be the Cleaning Tool (Scrubber). You will need to upgrade your Cleaning Tool by using it and unlocking the 3rd level Perk for it. This will give you the Spraying ability. Next, you will need to find an electrical outlet (not a light switch) and there is one in for example “DIY went so very wrong” (Crayfish Coast) in the upstairs washroom. You will need to Spray ( by pressing R1) directly into the electrical outlet and then use the Cleaning (holding R2) on the electrical outlet. See the pictures below for more information.

Bullseye
Throw a trash bag into a bin from 10 m.

You will be able to throw trash bags and if you hold a trash bag you can throw it even further (hold R2). However, you still are not able to throw a trash bag far enough when you are at the same level as it. Therefore, you will need to find a place where you are higher up and are able to throw the trash towards the bin that is 10 m away and get in. During the job “Tiny house to flip” (Crayfish Coast) you can open a large bin that you place a little ways from the house. Then you can go onto the roof deck and throw the trash bag at the large bin down below. See the pictures below for more information.
