Welcome to the trophy guide for Horizon Chase 2. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox One, Series X and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4/5 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Stage 1 – Complete the World Tour
Welcome to the trophy guide for Horizon Chase 2! Part 1 is named “Horizon Chase Turbo” and can be found here.
The world tour are individual races. Each country has around 10 levels for you to complete. During this mode you’ll need to win the race and collect all blue coins. This earns you a “Super Trophy”.
Countries available are the United States, Brazil, Morocco, Italy, Thailand and Japan. When you complete Japan, you’ll unlock a hidden chapter. It’s the MOON. Complete this too (quite challenging) and you’ll be done with the world tour.
Some levels are time trials. These are a bit harder than the normal races. Some tips to get the platinum time:
1. Collect all the time orbs
2. Use as many boost pads as possible
3. Don’t crash (Duh!)
4. Use turbo whenever possible
5. An upgraded car gives you a better performance
Stage 2 – Tournaments (+misc)
A tournament is a game mode in which you will race in 4 different levels. The tournament winner is the car with the most points. It is allowed to lose a race and still win the tournament. You need to have the most points in the tournament. Upgrades and blue coins are not present in this game mode.
Points won are as follows:
1. +20
2. +19
3. +18
And so on… Usually, the number 2 will be number 2 during all races. This means you need to become 1st three times and 2nd a single time.
Keep the following trophies in mind:
1. Race with a total of 10 different cars (“Eclectic Driver“)
2. Unlock 2 bodies for 5 cars. (“Customization Collector“) – Race with 5 cars 10 races to meet the requirements to unlock the bodies.

This trophy pops as soon as you beat the following countries: United States, Brazil, Morocco, Italy, Thailand and Japan.
Golden Master Champion
Finish all Master Tournaments with gold
The master tournament has 12 tournaments for you to beat, each with 4 levels. This has been made a bit easier than the previous instalment, Horizon Chase Turbo!
The tournament winner is the car with the most points. It is allowed to lose a race and still win the tournament. You just need to have the most points in the tournament. Upgrades and blue coins are not present in this game mode. Points won are as follows:

3. +18

Beat the World Tour with 100%
In Addition to the regular countries, you’ll unlock the “Moon” once you beat Japan. The moon is a challenging world tour. The maps have a lot of hard turns. Also, there are a lot of blue coins and you’ll only have a single go at them.

Finish all master Tournaments
Refer to “Golden Master Champion” for more information on this.
Car Specialist
Unlock 2 bodies for a car
Select Garage Shop from the main menu and select any car. Now select body and buy two bodies. Note that you need to buy 2 bodies for a single car.
USA – Check!
Complete 100% of all races in USA
The first country for you to participate in. It has 9 regular races and 3 time trials. You’ll be visiting San Francisco, the Golden City.
Brazil – Check!
Complete 100% of all races in Brazil
The second country for you to race in. It has a total of 11 regular races and 2 time trials. It has a cool track in Gramado & Canela with a giant Christmas tree.
Golden Amateur Champion
Finish all Amateur Tournaments with gold
The amateur tournament has 4 tournaments for you to beat, each with 4 levels. This has been made a bit easier than the previous instalment, Horizon Chase Turbo!
Golden Professional Champion
Finish all Professional Tournaments with gold
The professional tournament has 8 tournaments for you to beat, each with 4 levels. This has been made a bit easier than the previous instalment, Horizon Chase Turbo!
Customization Collector
Unlock 2 different bodies for 5 cars
The second body of a car requires you to have played 10 races with it. It’s vital that you switch cars early on, as the difficulty isn’t so hard. This is so the upgrades don’t matter that much. You may also do this during tournaments, as upgrades are pre-installed there.
Flawless Racer
Reach 1st in 20 consecutive races
Play first in 20 consecutive races. Best done during the world tour in United States and Brazil. The amateur tournament is also a fine place for it. The time trials don’t seem to void this trophy, but just ignore them while going for it.
Morocco – Check!
Complete 100% of all races in Morocco
The third part of the world that needs racing! Morocco has 9 regular races and 2 time trials. You’ll have fun in some of these cool desert tracks.
Italy – Check!
Complete 100% of all races in Italy
You made it towards Italy. 9 regular races and 2 time trials await you in the Manarola.
Thailand – Check!
Complete 100% of all races in Thailand
Thailand is almost your final destination. With 9 regular races and 2 time trials you’ll be seeing some beautiful landscapes with dragons and temples.
Japan – Check!
Complete 100% of all races in Japan
Japan is the final stop for the world tour (or so it seems!). You’ll be racing 9 regular circuits and 2 time trials. The Kanto region is one of the places where you’ll race between robots and Godzilla.
Fully Upgraded
Upgrade a car to max level
In order to upgrade a car to level 10 you’ll to need drive with it. After each race you’ll earn EXP. Use this to buy perks and level up your car. The stats such as top speed and handling will increase.

As you level up your car you can install an upgrade.
Trigger-Happy
Finish a Race with no Nitros left
Use all your nitro boosts during a race.
Nitro Saver
Finish a Race without spending any Nitro
Finish any race without using a nitro boost.
Eclectic Driver
Finish a race with 10 different cars
There are a total of 12 cars available. Most of them can be unlocked by completing tournaments and the World Tour. Race with a total of 10 different cars.
That was a Close Call!
Win a race with less than 0.1s of difference from the runner-up
This is can be tricky. If, you should earn it towards the end in the more challenging maps. If not, try braking just before the finish. Refer to the map to make an educated guess on when to accelerate.

On the bottom right corner is a throttle indicator. You can see a white line below it. The throttle needs to be inside that area when the countdown hits 0.
