Big Sam killed by Tyler at the Desert Dream

In Chapter 1 – Holts Stormed the Motel

Big Sam is a cop who will visit the motel without realizing you are being held hostage. To get him killed you need to raise his suspicion.
To do this tell the Holts that you are with “Just my dad”. Then when Big Sam arrives, hide the earring on the floor. Tell Big Sam you are with “Just my dad”. When Michelle walks into the motel, choose “Let’s get out of here” leading to Big Sam’s death.

Alerted Big Sam without raising Tyler”s suspicion.

In Chapter 1 – Holts Stormed the Motel

Big Sam is a cop who will visit the motel without realizing you are being held hostage. To alert his suspicion without getting him killed.
Tell the Holts that you are with “Just my dad”. Then when Big Sam arrives do not hide the earring on the floor. Tell Big Sam you are with “Just your dad”, “Say you have a kid” “On the run”. Tell Michelle “nothing”. Tell Big Sam “Yep” when he asks if you are okay.

In Chapter 1 – Holts Stormed the Motel

There are a few ways to get this at the end, based on your decisions, either you’ll be fighting Tyler after he shot the officer. Or Tyler will take Michelle hostage and you’ll have the option to grab his gun. In both cases complete the Quick Time Events to unlock.

In Chapter 1 – Holts Stormed the Motel

There are a few ways to get this at the end, based on your decisions, either you will be fighting Tyler after he shot the officer, or Tyler will take Michelle hostage. You have the option to grab his gun. In both cases fail the Quick Time Events to unlock.

In Chapter 1 – Becky

During the burglary in order to succeed first make sure to pull Becky’s help button. Then successfully open the safe (code is 5926). Finally when Dante returns complete the QTEs without fail to leave the house undetected.

Successfully removed the bullet for Michelle.

In Chapter 2 – Escaped the Office

After escaping the office, rejoining your family a shootout starts with the police. Choose the option “Run for it” as a result Michelle will get hit with a bullet. Complete the Quick Time Event and once Michelle is on the sofa choose the option “Remove Bullet” and then complete some more Quick Time Events to successfully remove the bullet.

In Chapter 2 – Vince Held the Gun

Michelle cannot be injured at the beginning of Chapter 2. To get yourself tied up, when you get the options “Insult Tyler”or “Calmly defy him” wait a second and a third option will appear. Choose “Crack a joke”. Complete the Quick Time Event to escape being tied up and you will automatically ring Dante.

Dodged A Bullet
Warned Dale about the sniper on the water tower.

In Chapter 2

As Vince you will be outside the motel being held tightly as a hostage, you will notice a Sniper’s red dot on Dale’s head. Choose the option “Warn Dale”.

Lifesaver
Michelle reached the hospital for treatment.

In Chapter 2 -Escaped the Office

To get this trophy Michelle will need to be shot. Check the trophy description for “Paging Dr Walker” on one of the ways Michelle gets shot. Then the police will negotiate with the Holts to send one hostage out. Choose Michelle to save her life.

Keeping The Faith
Trusted Michelle about her relationship with Bruce.

In Chapter 2 – Relaxed on Balcony

During the flashback you will be suspicious of Michelle having an affair. For this trophy you will need to trust Michelle and choose the option “Okay I’m sorry”.

What”s Done is Done
Forgave Michelle for her affair with Bruce.

In Chapter 2 – Relaxed on Balcony

During the flashback you will be suspicious of Michelle having an affair. For this trophy you will need to learn about Michelle’s affair by choosing the option “No, there”s more to this”. Then choose to “sit and talk”, and finally “Forgive”.

Unforgiveable
Didn’t forgive Michelle for her affair with Bruce

Second Chance
Vince and Michelle saved their marriage

Can be earned in Chapter 2 if Michelle was shot and choose to release her as the hostage to the police. While outside speak positively about the marriage and the trophy will unlock.

In Chapter 3 if Michelle was not shot in chapter 2 you will have a conversation with her about the marriage choose “we can work on it”.

Told the Holts about Dante”s pager

In Chapter 3 – An Eye for an Eye

Dante will give you a pager, later on you will drop it, complete the Quick Time Event and pick it up, then when Sharon arrives warn her about the pager.

Long Arm of the Law
Kept the pager hidden from the Holts

In Chapter 3 – An Eye for an Eye

Dante will give you a pager, later on you will drop it, complete the QTE and pick it up, then when Sharon arrives Don’t Warn her about the pager.

She”s Coming with Us
Zoe was taken hostage by the Holts

In Chapter 3 – Attacked by Dante/Tyler

At the end of Chapter 3 the Holts will decide to take a hostage with them as they flee. In this scenario they take Zoe. Tell Sharon “I’ll Kill you”. This should make her take Zoe.

Take Me Instead
Vince convinced the Holts to take him as their hostage.

In Chapter 3 – Attacked by Dante/Tyler

At the end of Chapter 3 the Holts will decide to take a hostage with them as they flee. In this scenario they take Vince. Fight off either Dante or Tyler, then when Jay turns up lower your weapon and then tell Sharon “I can help you”.

In Chapter 3 – Drove Bear into Woods

Jay will go with his father to bury a body. You can either choose not to help from the start and Bear will begin to bury the body, or you can agree at the start, but when the stranger comes, refuse to complete the task and then complete the Quick Time Events allowing the stranger to escape.

In Chapter 3 – Drove Bear into Woods

Jay will go with his father to bury a body. Agree and begin to bury the body. When the stranger comes complete the task and bury the stranger alive.

If Vince is taken by the Holts at the end of Chapter 3, he will be left in the car with Jay, who will have the option to unlock the door. Do so and Vince will escape safely.

To get here Ash must reveal the location of the Cabin earlier in the chapter, Then when the cops ambush the cabin as Jay choose “Help family”.

In Chapter 4 – Chased by Tyler

To get here Ash must not reveal the location of the Cabin earlier in the chapter. Later you will fight Tyler and end up being chased by him. Complete the Quick Time Events to run away and climb a tree, Tyler will also climb and will slip. Choose the option “Save Tyler”.

In Chapter 4 – Cops Ambush

There are a few ways to get this as long as Ash reveals the location of the Cabin earlier in the chapter, No matter what what options are take there will be an option to surrender or while escaping fail the Quick Time Events .

An easy way is when the cops ambush the cabin, as Jay choose “Abandon them”. A cop will chase you. Choose the option “Surrender”.

No Going Back
Jay killed the cop who tried to arrest him.

In Chapter 4 – Cops Ambush

To get here Ash must reveal the location of the Cabin earlier in the chapter, Then when the cops ambush the cabin, as Jay choose “Abandon them”. A cop will then chase you. Choose the option “Shoot cop”.

In Chapter 4 – Hid In Cabin

During a flashback, as Ash you will find a cabin and then run away from it and end up at a hospital. As Ash you will need to decide on whether to reveal the cabin or keep it a secret. For this trophy, Reveal its existence.

Ash didn’t reveal the cabin’s existence to Dante.

In Chapter 4 – Hid In Cabin

During a flashback, as Ash you will find a cabin and then run away from it and end up at a hospital. As Ash you will need to decide on whether to reveal the cabin or keep it a secret. For this trophy, keep it secret.

In Chapter 5 – Desert Dream Aftermath

In order to get this scene Jay must escape Chapter 4, by either running away from Tyler or the cops. He will find himself at a bar and will make a bet over a game of darts. Complete the Quick Time Event to win.

Refused to confess to Bradley

In Chapter 5

If Jay is arrested at the end of Chapter 4 or gets arrested at the start of Chapter 5. He will be with the FBI officer. During the dialogue choose not to give any information to the officer. Choose the following options “Don’t I get a lawyer?”, Don’t answer (X2), “Where’s the lawyer?”, “I swear, I”m innocent.”, “Didn’t do anything.”

Heart to Heart
Jay and Vanessa fell in love.

In Chapter 5 – Arrived at Todd’s Party

At Todd’s party – Decline the drugs, wait outside, leave them and let him get away with it. Then at the campground “Tell her you lied,” Kiss her back and choose “I do”. This will also unlock the trophy “Bonnie and Clyde”.

You”re On Your Own
Jay and Vanessa went their separate ways at the campground.

In Chapter 5

After Todd”s party, at the campground do not reveal your identity, choose to stay as friends and tell Vanessa it”s too dangerous to go together to Canada.

Bonnie and Clyde
Vanessa decides to go to Canada with Jay.

In Chapter 5 – Arrived at Todd’s Party

At Todd’s party – Decline the drugs, wait outside, leave them and let him get away with it. Then at the campground “Tell her you lied,” then kiss her back and choose “I do”.

Paul escaped to Cuba with Sharon.

In Chapter 5 – Dante came calling

Paul will find Sharon hiding in his trailer, later Dante arrives and Sharon will attack him, as Paul you will have to decide to either help Dante or Sharon. Choose Sharon.

Sharon was captured by Dante.

If Jay makes it to Canada either with or without Vanessa, Zoe will visit him there.

Whilst there choose the option “I don’t hate you” then “No you’re not” and they will share a meal.

Zoe reported Jay”s whereabouts to the authorities.

If Jay makes it to Canada either with or without Vanessa, Zoe will visit him there.

Whilst there, choose the option “Your family ruined my life” and then “Turn him in”

Stay of Execution
Jay”s execution was called off at the last second.

In Chapter 6 – Visited Jay in Prison

In order to not be executed it is important to play passively as Jay, so do not shoot or kill anyone and do not attack Todd at the party.

If Jay is captured by the police or surrenders, Zoe will go to visit him in prison. During the dialogue, choose the option “You looked out for me” then “Witness it”

Enough is Enough
Zoe didn’t stay to witness Jay’s execution.

In Chapter 6 – Visited Jay in Prison

If Jay is captured by the police or surrenders. Zoe will go to visit him in prison. During the dialogue choose the option “Your family ruined my life” and then “No more trauma”.

Into the Wild
Escaped the FBI and made it to Canada

In Chapter 6 – Entered the National Park

To earn this trophy you must be being chased by the cops. Either for not successfully hot wiring the car. Punching the guy at the house party or crashing into the Police car at the Police road check. If so, when being chased simply fail the Quick Time Events and you will be taken in by the FBI.

Free Bird
Forest ranger let Jay escape to Canada.

In Chapter 6 – Entered the National Park

In order to meet the forest ranger you must leave for Canada on your own but also not be being chased by the cops, so you cannot punch Todd at the house party, must hot wire the car, and do not hit the cop at the roadside police checkpoint. For the Forest ranger to let you go you must have not killed anyone as Jay. When you surrender yourself to him he will pity you and let you go.

If you have been playing Jay as a violent character then make a new save from the point of the hot-wiring scene,

Almost Made It
