Welcome to the trophy guide for YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. Follow us on twitter for the latest news and giveaways.
Stage 1 – Clear the Prologue.
Yu-No is a rather straight-forward platinum. Most locations and routes are given to you on the side of the screen to tell you how to advance! When at scenes, the game will tell you which items to use. So you almost always know when to use Jewel Saves and Loads and get around, but there are some routes that are hidden and some prerequisites to unlocking some paths. That’s what this guide is here for.
Note: The number of the jewel isn’t important, just that you use the jewel. If there’s a situation where my guide overlaps and you can’t use the numbered jewel, use any jewel, just remember which number you used.
The Prologue of Yu-No has no effect on anything, it is just an introduction to the story. Play through this and you will earn Obtainer of the Reflector Device and Beginner of Time
.
Stage 2 – Completing Mitsuki’s Route.
Mitsuki’s route is done first because the items required for her endings are acquired during her route, making it the easiest. After the prologue, you will always start back at the Shrine. Mitsuki’s route is the red/orange path.
Stage 3 – Ayumi’s Route
Ayumi’s Route is 2nd in line becuase Mio’s Route is branched from her route, and Kaori/Kanna’s route are together on their own branch and require some items. Ayumi’s route is the Pink route.
Stage 4 – Mio’s Route
Mio’s Route is chosen due to the fact it branches off Ayumi’s route and you have a Jewel Save conveninetly placed to start her route already. Mio’s route is the Orange Path.
Stage 5 – Kaori’s Route
Kaori’s Route is the next route. You’ll have 2 routes left, but Kanna’s route branches from Kaori’s route. So Kaori will be done first. Kaori’s route is the blue path.
Stage 6 – Kanna’s Route
Kanna’s Route is the last route of the characters. You have a conveniently placed jewel due to Kanna branching from Kaori. Kanna is also the character that will give us the item to open the Other World Chapter. Kanna’s route is green.
Stage 7 – The Otherworld Chapter
The Otherworld Chapter requires 2 things: All 10 Jewels and The Key to the Study. This is why this is the last chapter. There’s minimal steps to access this, and when you do it requires no walkthrough. There’s nothing to miss and nothing branches. It is VERY long, so strap yourself in. The route towards the Otherworld Chapter is purple.
Stage 8 – Clean Up
The final stage is the clean-up, not much left to do now. Maybe 1-2h of work if that! By this point you’ll have earned Controller of Time, so the only remaining trophies are:
Journey with Ayumi
Journey with Mio
Journey with Kanna
Listener of the Sound
So click above or refer to the trophies manually to see how to obtain those last 4. After these, you’ll have your nice Listener of the Chant!

Watch the location markers on the side and rush those locations and dialogues to get to her endings. Before the ending is enacted a Pop-Up will ask you which ending you want, choose ‘Go to Ayumi’s END.’ The ending with this option is the one where you will give Toyotomi the Secret Meeting Photo.

You will use this on a fresh start to access your Father’s Study, putting you onto the purple path. This pruple path will lead to a doorway on your map. That door is what leads you to the Other World Chapter. This chapter is straightforward and doesn’t require anything, play and investigate away.

Listener of the Sound
Find the Music Room.
After you obtain 100% of the map unlocked, you will be able to visit an ‘alternate path’ after choosing a new game. When you start on at the Shrine you’ll have to visit the Main Hall as your first place to visit. It won’t let you visit the school before you obtain 100%.
