Welcome to the trophy guide for We Were Here Too. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Follow us on twitter for the latest news and giveaways.

Stage 1 – First Playthrough – Good Ending.

For the first playthrough, you will be grabbing the good ending, this is done by finding and turning on all 12 levers hidden throughout the game. The developers patched the game so you can now die and the levers will stay switched, so make sure you are playing on the latest patch of the game.

Tips: Your solutions will likely differ from the examples that will be used in the guide as they are random. However, all of the puzzles are simply one player describing the solution (symbols, windows, directions) to the other. It’s recommended to send screenshots of the solutions via Discord/Playstation App to the other player if you want to complete the game quickly/avoid mistakes. Furthermore, it is also recommended to use Playstation’s Party feature rather than the in-game walkie-talkies to communicate.

Chapter 1

Lord – Go to the right of the door and look down the drain for the three symbols. Tell your partner the three symbols.

Lord – A new door has opened, go inside and on the left is lever 1/12 . Make sure the yellow light above the lever becomes illuminated.

Go back into the previous room. There are three coffins above and each one of them is a symbol that is needed, tell your partner these symbols.

In the book is an image with six numbered candles. The numbers represent the order in which the Peasant must light them.

Peasant – Light the candles in the correct order according to Lord’s book.

Puzzle 5 - Cube

WARNING! The next puzzle is timed and can be failed very easily! Also, selecting an incorrect cube will accelerate the falling stairs and increase your chance of failure.

Peasant - Enter the newly unlocked room and head to the left for lever 3/12 under the stair case.

Now head up the stairs to the barrier and describe the cross to the Lord.

Lord - One of the many doors in this room will open, and you will have to move around to find out which one has. Once inside you will have to find the correct cube that matches the cross and place it on the switch in the center of the room. This may be a little tricky to begin with, but look at the cross as if it was a cube and pay close attention to which way the compass is pointing. You can pick the cubes up and move them around to see all sides.

Peasant - Head up the stairs some more and describe the next cross.

Lord - Head back to the main room and to the next newly opened room and again select the correct cube and place it in the middle.

Peasant - Head up the stairs again to the final cross and describe it.

Lord - Head to the final room and select the correct cube again.

Puzzle 6 - Match weapons puzzle

WARNING! This puzzle can be failed as the walls in the Lord’s room are closing in and will eventually crush the lord. Meaning you will be unable to unlock the good ending. However to avoid this the Peasant can turn the steering wheel in the center of the room to move the walls back outwards.

Peasant – In the new room at the top of the stairs on the left before the lava is Lever 4/12

Lord – Head into the new room and head straight to the wall for Lever 5/12. Continue along the long corridor and open the wooden door.

Inside this room are four knights in armor under a shield with an animal, the Lord must describe the weapons and shields each knight is holding and in which hand.

Peasant –There are weapons and shields all around the room and you must select the correct weapons and match it to the knights in your room. When done correctly the knight’s eyes will glow red. Do this for all 4 knights but don’t forget to turn the steering wheel from time to time.

Peasant unlocks – The Pointy End

Lord unlocks – Astriction Constriction

Puzzle 7 - Stained glass puzzle

Lord – Enter the newly unlocked room, head to the left and behind the barrels is lever 6/12

Peasant  – Enter the new room, head to the left of the room and open the door. On the left of this small room is lever 7/12.

Lord – Describe the 3 stained glass windows found in the room.

Peasant – Select all 9 correct elements from the glass windows on the sides and place them into the frames on the back wall to make duplicates of the stain glassed windows found in the Lord’s room. Some elements can look very similar so pay attention to the small details!

Puzzle 8 - Chess

Lord – Head to the chessboard on the left of the room

Peasant – Head to the big chessboard in the center of the room and direct the lord (left, right, forward and back) to move the knight and kill the enemy forces.

For the second chess puzzle a second knight is added to the board but the Lord can only see one of the knights. The idea is to get the two knights inside the castle squares at the same time. You have to use the stones to adjust how far apart/together the two knights are by blocking one of the knight’s path whilst the other can move.

For the third puzzle the two knights must enter the doors of the castle at the same time, again use the stones to adjust the distance between the knights. This will take a few trial and errors but if you mess up the Lord can pull the lever on the left of the chessboard to reset the board.

Lord Unlocks – Gordian Knight

Puzzle 9 - Maze

Lord – Head through the door on the opposite side and onto the balcony.

Peasant – After completing the chess puzzles; get on the board which will descends and head through the door. Head straight and open the door on the other side and on the left is lever 8/12 Then head to the center circle and the maze puzzle will begin.

Tip – Press and hold L3 to run, also avoid touching the walls as this seems to slow you down.

Lord – With a top town view from the balcony direct the Peasant through the maze to to the correct circles. This puzzle is on a timer and is quite tight but you do not die. If you run out of time the Peasant must simply return to the center circle. You will likely fail the maze a few times before memorising the routes. Once you have completed four maze puzzles in a row the Peasant will fall through the circle.
