Welcome to the trophy guide for UglyDolls: An Imperfect Adventure. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Stage 1 – Play through the entire story as one of the two characters.
Play through all five chapters while collecting resources and coins. As you move through areas completing tasks don’t forget to pick up buttons, you’ll be needing 1600 of them for a playthrough. You will need to buy all 6 of the crafting abilities (100 buttons each and some are chapter related as to when they are available) from Dave who is just outside of the teahouse. It is possible to get items that you do not have the crafting ability for yet by buying some random selections from Wippy (for 30 buttons each) who is outside the teahouse beside Dave.
Before completing the playthrough (The Final mission is to collect 1000 buttons. The credits will roll if you hand them in at the Teahouse, finishing the playthrough) you need to get the 13 missable trophies:
Dance off!
– have 5 robots dancing at the same time
Can we keep it? Pleeease?
– trap 10 robots
Ice skating. Whee! – be on ice for 30 seconds
Hang onto your hat – fly with the hover hat for 30 seconds
Blowing bubbles – Trap 10 robots in bubbles
Sploosh – Lead 5 robots into water
Follow me! Actually, don’t
– Have 5 enemies chasing you
Ssshhhh… – spend 30 seconds in a box
I done a rummage! – Use 20 rummage points in one level
Left! No, right! My brain! – be reversed 5 times
So much shoving – get knocked back 10 times by the charger
Ahoy there! – spend 30 seconds in water
Wait, what just happened? – get teleported 10 times
Stage 2 – Play through the entire story again as the other character.
Playthrough the entire game again as the other character, only do the tasks for each chapter and collect 1000 buttons to finish the game.

Complete the game as Moxy
Play through the entire five chapters of the game as Moxy.

Use 20 rummage points in one level.
In one chapter open any 20 boxes as shown in the pictures below.
Wrench: cans, springs 
Recycle: cardboard, pink button, milk bottles 
Leaf: feathers, leaves, sticks 
Paintbrush: tape, paint brush

Dance off!
Get 5 robots to dance at the same time.
After getting the ability to craft a DECOY DEVICE (red music player) make a few of them so you are prepared when getting the robots all together. Look for a referee robot first as they sound a trumpet to alert other robots to come to them. Walk in front of the referee robot so that it becomes aware of you. When more robots come to you, move to avoid the robots’ attacks and lead them to collect the robots that are chasing you closely together. Place a DECOY DEVICE to get them to start to dance. You will probably have to place multiple DECOY DEVICES to ensure that all the robots are aware (green light activated) at the same time. See the pictures below. (Either be lucky or be patient as this is the most difficult trophy to earn.)

Rummage in 50 places
As you play through the game you will open more than 50 crafting material boxes so this will come through natural game play.
Blowing bubbles
Trap 10 robots in bubbles
After getting the ability to craft the BUBBLE GUN use it on any 10 robot enemies to trap them in a bubble. See picture below.
Uglyville is perfect(ish)
Complete the game as Ox.
Select Ox (green character) to play as for one entire playthrough of the game.
Everyone loves balloons
Rescue Wippy
Near the end of your playthrough after completing chapter 5, you will be tasked to rescue 10 UglyDolls in sets of 5 each. Wippy is in the first set that needs rescuing. You will need to find the UglyDolls so use the SEARCH BALLOONS to find them on the map and then complete their respective task (fetch/craft items). Once you complete their request(s) you will have rescued the UglyDolls and specifically Wippy here.
Stop eating the money!
Rescue Trunko
Near the end of your playthrough after completing chapter 5, you will be tasked to rescue 10 UglyDolls in sets of 5 each. Trunko is in the second set that needs rescuing. You will need to find the UglyDolls so use the SEARCH BALLOONS to find them on the map and then complete their respective task (fetch/craft items). Once you complete their request(s) you will have rescued the UglyDolls and specifically Trunko here.
Buttons for everyone
Pick up 1000 buttons
In a single playthrough you will need to collect 1000 buttons to complete the game. When moving around in the world try to take a path so that you are constantly collecting buttons to make this task as efficient as possible. Green buttons are worth 1, blue buttons are worth 5, and purple buttons are worth 10. To get the higher up buttons use the POGSTICK, AIR VENTS, HOVER HAT, and/or FEATHER WINGS as these are typically the blue and purple button locations.
Maker of many things
Craft 10 items
This will come naturally through gameplay by crafting 10 items. When you are moving through the world make sure to rummage through the crafting boxes that you see along the way. This ensures that you have a large supply for crafting any items to make your playthrough as efficient as possible.

Have 5 enemies chasing you
Find an area where there is a referee robot and get their attention by walking in front of them. The referee robot will alert other robots to come to it and then avoid the robots’ attacks. Maneuver so that you get the robots to line up behind you and chase you. See the picture below.
Chapter 4: Just Chilling
Rescue Ice Bat
In chapter 4 you are tasked to find 12 Super Hero Gear to get the ability to craft FEATHER WINGS. Then you will be tasked to find 27 Snowblower pieces (gold coins). To make it easier use Search Balloons to help locate these on the map. After this is done return to teahouse and see a cutscene.

Reach a height of 15 metres
Use Air Vents to reach 15 metres and above. See the picture below of how to complete this.
An ad-vent-ure (sorry)
Use air vents 10 times
Go into 10 or more Air Vents to earn this trophy. See the picture below.
Ice skating. Whee!
Spend 30 seconds on ice
In any chapter that has ice in it, simply go onto the ice and remain there for 30 seconds.
Switch it up
Flip 10 switches
This will come naturally as you play through the game as you will have to interact with lots of switches throughout the game. See picture below.
Wait, what just happened?
Get teleported 10 times.
When you find the robot that has a hole through its body, go up to it so you are noticed and it will beam you to a different area on the map. Repeat 10 times. See picture below.
Left! No, right! My brain!
Be reversed 5 times.
There is a small robot with no arms and it has whirl lines around it on the map. When you locate one of them go up to it to get noticed and then let it hit you. Repeat 5 times. See picture below.
So much shoving
Get knocked back 10 times by the charger.
When you find the robot wearing the red cape go up to it, get noticed, and let it hit you. Repeat 10 times. See picture below.

Play 2 player
Either play local coop as much as you like or login to play with a second controller and the trophy will be earned immediately.
Chapter 1: Extreme Plumbing
Block the pipe
In chapter one you get the ability to craft SEARCH BALLOONS after completing the task of finding 10 Machine Parts. Return to the teahouse to complete the chapter and earn the trophy.
Chapter 5: Dance Party
Rescue Ugly Dog
In chapter 5, you will get the ability to craft a DECOY DEVICE by completing the task of finding 8 pieces of Disco Stuff and then return to the teahouse to earn the trophy.
Chapter 2: Baking Stuff
Rescue Wage
In chapter 2 you will get the ability to craft the Felt Heart and Super Sneakers by completing the task of finding 10 pieces of Baking Stuff. Then return to the teahouse to earn this trophy.
Ssshhhh…
Spend 30 seconds in a box
After obtaining the ability to craft a BOX (or getting it from Wippy’s random selection), use the box to hide and stay under it for 30 seconds. See picture below.
Chapter 3: Inventing Stuff
Rescue Babo
In chapter 3 you will need to buy the TRAP craft ability from Dave outside the teahouse and find 12 pieces of Hacking Stuff. Use the TRAP on 5 robots to obtain WiFi Passwords and then return to the teahouse to earn this trophy.
Ahoy there!
Spend 30 seconds in water
Buy the crafting ability to make a WATER FLOAT or get one by buying Wippy’s random selection. Put on the WATER FLOAT and go into the water and stay there for 30 seconds. See picture below.
Sploosh
Lure 5 robots into water
Throughout the game make robots aware of you by walking in front of them and then having them follow you into water or have them fall into water because of you. Robots have a path that they follow so find ones near water as robots will not follow you that far away from their route that they take. You could use a Referee robot that is near water as they will alert other robots to come to the area. Then maneuver to lead the robots into the water. Repeat five times. See picture below.

Trap 10 robots
Place a TRAP near a robot and then move to get them to move through the open TRAP and then they will be captured. Repeat 10 times. See picture below.
Hang onto your hat
Fly with the hover hat for 30 seconds
Get up onto a higher building and then use the HOVER HAT to fly for 30 seconds. See the picture below.
