Welcome to the trophy guide for The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Follow us on twitter for the latest news and giveaways.

Stage 1 – Beat the game with the collectibles.

The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince is a short game with Stage Select, so no worries about missables. Most of the collectibles are in plain sight with a few exceptions. Not only is the game easy, but so is the trophy list. With the majority of them being Story and Collectible, you’ll have most of them by game end! Cross reference your levels with A Bouquet For You and The Collector to make sure you don’t miss anything and you’ll be fine!

(Note: When you reach the level Fish Bone Tunnel, refer to the trophy The Full Moon With You.)

Full Collectibles.

Stage 2 – Clean up!

There are Specific Level trophies that with collectibles don’t work with each other, so we’ll be utilizing Stage Select to earn:
Wind Chaser Clear “Hanging Moss Curtain” in less than 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
The Pacifist Clear “Dappled Sunlight Trail” without killing enemies.
Sound Chaser Clear “The Blue Ocean of Yore” in less than 3 minutes.
The Peacemaker Clear “Creamy Cotton Road” without killing enemies.
Light Chaser Clear “The Flower’s Lament” in less than 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
A Way Of Love Clear “Tears of the Starry Sky” without killing enemies.

Trophies

 My Truest Self
You obtained all trophies!

 Starting Point
Clear the game.

Story related. This trophy will pop after the final boss.

 A Bouquet for You
Collect all Flowers.

Flowers are collectibles that you need to give the Prince, picking them up alone simply won’t cut it. There are eight in total to collect and are designated by a Flower icon next to the level in Stage Select (beside the Petals’ icon). The Prince is never too far from the Flower Bed, but still be careful because you can’t transform or die with the Flower, or else you’ll have to re-obtain it.

Hanging Moss Curtain

At the top of the second Elevator, jump off to the left to reach a platform with this Flower.

Hanging Moss Curtain Flower.

Ivory Thread Bridge

You’ll have to bypass the flower at first and come back to it. Later into the level will be a pressure pad with a seed Spitting Flower nearby, have the Prince stand on this to raise it. Use this elevated seed Spitting Flower to shoot one onto the Mushrooms on your left and onto another pressure pad. This pressure pad lowers the gate to the previous Flower we passed.

Note: Take the Prince OFF the pressure pad, as you won’t be able to jump back with the Flower if you don’t.

Grave of Memories

You’ll have to unlock a door to reach this Flower. At the beginning of level, you’ll Mushroom up to a platform with a branching path to the right and left. Get the Prince to bring the block to the right and drop it into the hole. The rock will land on a pressure pad, opening the door which leads to the Flower and another Stone.

Hallow Tree Hill

This level is essentially “skippable”, but since we’re collecting everything, this is in the direct path towards the end level. After collecting all the 5 Petals in the level, return to the Puzzle at the beginning. The Puzzle solution is 5915. Go through the portal to find this Flower.

Tears of the Starry Sky

At the lantern at the top you need to light, there’ll be a platform you can jump off to on the left as the Wolf. It’s a dark unlit area, but it’s there. You’ll want to follow this until you “fall” into a still darkened area. Once you fall, go right to meet a wall. Transform into the Princess and you’ll fit into a crevice to fall through onto Mushrooms, left of these Mushrooms is the Flower.

Tears of the Starry Sky Flower.

Fish Bone Tunnel

From the first torch, wolf jump up to the left. Transform back into the Princess to find this very hidden Flower.

The Flowers Lament

When you need to break all the Chests, go through the path to the left that opened to find this Flower.

The Flowers Lament Flower

Crimson-Ebony Dance

In the level path beside the Yeti pit, you’ll find this Flower.

Crimson-Ebony Dance Flower.

 Ace Hunter
Defeat 100 enemies.

This will come naturally. Slaying enemies is one of the basic elements of gameplay.

 A Way of Love
Clear “Tears of the Starry Sky” without killing enemies.

The Hardest of the “without killing enemies.” trophies, but by no means hard. This level’s main concern are the Bats, quick to strike and got good reach. Bats have an exploitable flaw though, they’ll come at you at an angle until they’re grounded. Abuse this and lure one bat away from its friend and jump over it when it’s low enough, you should have enough time to lure the 2nd bat towards the first and jump over it too. If not, then next time lure it further. Besides, Bats in this level will be no trouble.

(Note: Touching enemies or anything on them will not kill you or the Prince, ONLY the attack animations will, so don’t fret about touching them or clipping their backs.)

 Light Chaser
Clear “The Flower’s Lament” in less than 3 minutes and 30 seconds.

The hardest of the “in less than…” trophies, but by no means hard. Like most speedrunning of levels, there is considerable wiggle room, as there’s enough time to even die, reload a checkpoint, finish the level and still make it in time. The problem with The Flower’s Lament is its luck factor. There’s a Pachinko-style Puzzle to solve somewhat of the way through the level, which is luck of the ball bounce. Managing to get it within 2-3 shots you’ll still make it in time. Beside that puzzle, at the end when you’re activating the platform to go retrieve the Prince, jump off to the left and ride it over too, or else you waste precious seconds waiting for it to come back. Those are the only 2 notable tips, just rush through the level and do the parts you already know.

 Blade of Words
Get called a liar by the prince.

Story related. Inbetween some levels and all chapters there will be story narration, most of these story narrations will pop you a trophy.

 The Collector
Collect all Petals.

There are 5 Petals per stage, totaling 100 over the games 20 levels. These Petals not only unlock a trophy, but artwork for you too! You’ll be able to track them via the Stage Select screen. Empty Petal = Uncollected, Black Filled = Collected. Below you will find all the Petal locations. Though most are in plain sight, some are not.

Petals 1 & 2 are found together after a drop, there’ll be a branch off to the left.

Radiant Floral Colony

After you pass the Chest, you’ll transform and hop up the platforms. You’ll have to walk ever so slightly into the tunnel to trigger the boar, but run out and transform quickly to kill it. This boar was guarding the 5 Petals.

Little Peering Game

Petal 2 – When you find a pair of ghosts, this Petal will be in the hole to jump down as the Wolf. (Petal 3 Immediately follows.)
Petal 3 – As you fall through the hole for Petal 2, hug right and you’ll land on a platform with Petal 3.
Petals 4 & 5 – When you come to a split path (Up & Down), it’s in plain sight on the upper path.

Dire Dragon Caravan

Petal 1, 2, & 3- All these Petals are in the beginning in the air above the Ghosts.
Petal 4 – After you obtain Fire, the next Portal will bring you to this Petal. Transform into the Wolf and walk off the ledge to the left.
Petal 5 – When you see a red spider in a tree, the Portal beside it will bring you to this Petal. It’s immediately left after going through the Portal.

Hallow Tree Hill

Petal 1 & 2 – Are at each end of the grassy weight platforms. Manipulate each platform around to reach these 2 Petals.
Petals 3 & 4 – In the 2nd leftmost Portal, there will 2 fires needing to be lit. This will activate an Elevator which will bring you up to these Petals.
Petal 5 – In the 2nd rightmost Portal there is an unlit Fire. Above this Fire is the Petal.

 Routine Hunter
Defeat 50 enemies.

This will come naturally. Slaying enemies is one of the basic elements of gameplay.

 The Peacemaker
Clear “Creamy Cotton Road” without killing enemies.

Creamy Cotton Road is an early stage and because of that there really isn’t anything to worry about. Rush through the stage and do the level as you know how. Because of the below tip, you don’t even have to time running under the bugs properly as touching them is of no threat.

(Note: Touching enemies or anything on them will not kill you or the Prince, ONLY the attack animations will, so don’t fret about touching them or clipping their backs.)

 Sound Chaser
Clear “The Blue Ocean of Yore” in less than 3 minutes.

Not much about this level. Some checkpoints will have a pair of Bats, be wary of them. The biggest time saving factor in this level would be the second Yeti. If you follow him as he’s walking towards the cave wall and you stand parallel to him, he will turn around and his arm will miss you. Align yourself to be thrown up, saving you a whole Yeti walking regime and setup.

 In Half Bloom
Collect 5 Flowers.

Refer to A Bouquet for You.

 I’m So Sorry!
Let the prince die 30 times.

A lot of the times you die in this game will be The Princess’ Death, meaning you may not earn this trophy by the end. This could be your last trophy, but it’s easily grindable. Load up a level with early enemy placement and drag the Prince to the enemy.

 Eat Up, Moles!
Give flowers to the moles.

Story Progression. There will a story narration with moles requesting your help, finish the next level for this trophy.

 Never Let Go
Hold hands with the prince 100 times.

As you have to constantly let go off the Prince’s hand to solve Puzzles, collect Petals and Flowers, and take different paths. You will achieve this naturally.

 The Full Moon with You
Look at the moon with the prince.

In the level Fish Bone Tunnel, you’ll come across a Yeti that will throw you a lantern for the Prince to light. Use this lantern to light all the Torches past this point right up to the Scarecrow. Once done, you’ll have to backtrack to this Elevator. As the lit Lanterns unlock it’s ability to go higher, it to go all the way up to a hidden area where this trophy will pop.

The Elevator

 Fledgling Hunter
Defeat 10 enemies.

This will come naturally. Slaying enemies is one of the basic elements of gameplay.

 The Pacifist
Clear “Dappled Sunlight Trail” without killing enemies.

The earliest of the “without killing enemies” trophies and the least worrisome. There is nothing to worry about just hop over the hedgehogs and keep running forward.

(Note: Touching enemies or anything on them will not kill you or the Prince, ONLY the attack animations will, so don’t fret about touching them or clipping their backs.)

 Wind Chaser
Clear “Hanging Moss Curtain” in less than 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

This being an early level, there are real no threats or anything to be overly cautious of. Just don’t stop moving and know the layout well. There is enough wiggle room too that if you die just once, you’ll still clear it in 2m30s.

 Eat Up, Goats!
Give meat to the goats.

Story progression. There will a story narration with goats requesting your help, finish the next level for this trophy.

 I’m Sorry!
Let the prince die for the first time.

This will come naturally. Dying is a very natural part of this game and you’d be extremely lucky or cautious not to cause a single Prince’s death. The most common deaths are falling too high, enemy attacks, or falling down a pit.

 Take My Hand
Hold hands with the prince for the first time.

When the Tutorial section is over in The Frosted Spiral Tower, you’ll grab his hand, as it’s essential to gameplay to start.

 Is This…Me…?
Transform for the first time.

Obtained at the beginning in The Frosted Spiral Tower where they teach you how to transform.

 First Encounter
Defeat an enemy for the first time.

This will be obtained at the beginning during the attack Tutorial against a Knight in The Frosted Spiral Tower.
