Make sure you are patched to version 1.01 or higher.
As of the new DLC (January 2020), the max level has been raised to lv 20.

Stage 1 – Complete the campaign

The game has a total of 36 levels which take around 1-3 minutes to finish each. You can replay levels if you would like to farm gold or experience.

A few tips to get started:
– All trophies can be earned on the lowest difficulty, beginner
– It doesn’t matter which champion you select at the beginning
– Replay level to farm EXP and gold
– Make sure to buy new weapons/armor and shields when you have gold for it.

Before combat:
1) Select a godpower in the temple, this will help you out a lot during battle. (Activated with L1 by default, only used once per battle)
2) Around the Afrikan campaign, you will be able to buy a animal.
3) At the butcher you can eat, granting you a massive bonus in health and damage (Roast Pig, 320 gold)
4) In the general store you can buy bandages to heal yourself or weapons to inflict extra ranged damage.

While in combat:
1) Staying towards the left or right of the arena, will make sure the enemies only come from 1 side.
2) Make sure to use the Block (Skill) & Shield pushback (Skill) combo. This allows you to block attacks and stun them. This allows you to attack enemies freely without taking too much damage. (Making 3 stars much easier to earn)

The block & Shield pushback combo

 Maximum Level
Reach the maximum level on your gladiator

As of the new DLC (January 2020), the max level has been raised to lv 20.

The maximum level is 15. You can level up by winning fights and earning exp. You should be close to level 15 when you complete all 36 levels.

To farm experience, replay some bossfight levels.

 Beast Slayer
Slay 25 beasts

You will encounter beast in the Afrikan cup. Kill a total of 25 and you will earn this trophy.

 Super Stars
Collect 90 stars

Stars can be collecting during each level. The minimum is 1 star, and the maximum is 3 stars.

The amount of health left at the end of the battle determinate how many starts you will earn.

You should earn 3 stars on all levels in the Greek & Afrikan cup, so that you can slack a bit during the harder Roman cup.

You can always come back with better gear and temporarily upgrades if a level proves to hard right away.

You can view the current amount of stars by visiting the Amulets shop.

 Backstabber
Kill an enemy from the back

For this to work you will need to following skills:
Dodge Roll & Backstab Strike

Start any level and roll behind an enemy, now stab his to death.

 Triple Kill
Kill 3 enemies with 1 hit

This trophy can be earned during any of the last two boss-fights. There will be plenty of enemies piling up, for you to kill three at a time.

Also, this trophy should come naturally during your playthrough of the game.

 Death pit
Kill someone by kicking them in a pit

For this trophy you need the “Kick” skill. This trophy can only be earned is very specific levels that contain a pit.
