Welcome to the trophy guide for Minecraft Dungeons. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Follow us on twitter for the latest news and giveaways.

Stage 1 – Complete the game.

You will need to complete the game, which includes the following levels:
– Creeper Woods.
– Soggy Swamp.
– Cacti Canyon.
– Redstone Mines.
– Pumpkin Pastures.
– Desert Temple.
– Fiery Forge.
– Highblock Halls.
– Obsidian Pinnacle.

Upon completing all levels and defeating Arch-Illager, you should be around Level 25 and will unlock the “Adventure” difficulty.

Additionally, there are also a few hidden levels that can be unlocked. For example “Underhalls” and “Creepy Crypt”. These levels are not required for any trophy.

Stage 2 – Grind to Level 55.

Once the main story has been beaten, you will unlock “Adventure” difficulty. Once you beat the Arch-Illager on “Adventure” difficulty, you will unlock the “Apocalypse” difficulty.

To beat the Arch-Illager on “Adventure” difficulty, you will need a Power of 56 or above.

To beat the Arch-Illager on “Apocalypse” difficulty, you will need a Power of 95 or above.

Beating all levels on each difficulty (Standard, Adventure and Apocalypse) should earn you enough EXP to reach Level 55. Level 55 is required for the “Maxed Out and Geared Up” trophy.

With the Gear shown below, you should be able to defeat Arch-Illager on “Apocalypse” difficulty.

Trophies

 Bragging Rights
Unlock all other trophies.

You survived the Dungeon! Congrats on your shiny trophy!

 Expert Explorer
Reach Level 50.

Reaching Level 50 is fairly easy. Completing all levels on each difficulty (Standard, Adventure and Apocalypse) should earn you enough experience to reach Level 50.

That means you need to complete each Level 3 times. A level takes around 20-30 minutes to complete. There are a total of 9 levels. You could also do some hidden levels (if you unlock them) to get more variety in terms of gameplay.

Playing on higher difficulty levels will unlock new loot and enemies to play against.

 Maxed Out and Geared Up
Equip a Gear set consisting of fully enchanted items (3 Enchantment Slots upgraded to Level 3).

For this trophy, you need 3 Enchantments on Level 3 on your Weapon, Armor and Bow.

It is best to use a “Common” Enchantment, and not a “Powerful” one, as these cost less Upgrade Points.

You will be able to earn this trophy at Level 55, as you have enough upgrade points then.

 High Treason
Defeat the Arch-Illager on Apocalypse difficulty.

The Arch-Illager is the final boss in Minecraft. It has 2 forms:

The first one is his tiny cute form, which can be easily destroyed.

First form will shoot some projectiles and spawn some low level mobs. It will also teleport often. Best to take it down with your bow or with a stun ability.

The second form:
An Enderman form that crawls on the ground and shoots massive lasers that can kill you very quickly.

Depending on your layout, your bow can be your best option. Another (specific) option is the “Gong of Weakening” (found in Desert Temple) and “Death Cap Mushroom” (found in Highblock Halls) power-up, that weakens the enemy and gives you massive attack speed. That way you can deal heavy damage in a few seconds, as seen in the video below.

High Treason Trophy.

 Saved the Overworld
Defeat the Arch-Illager at the Obsidian Pinnacle.

Refer to the “High Treason” trophy for more information on this.

  High and Dry
Complete Desert Temple, Fiery Forge and Highblock Halls.

All 3 levels will be completed on your first run and will come during the natural course of the game.

 Life of the Party
Revive a downed friend 20 times.

This trophy can either be done online or in local co-op. It can easily be farmed in local co-op with a second controller. Navigate to the Redstone Mines and go towards a rail track. Put player 2 on it and the minecart will kill him. Revive and repeat until you pop the trophy.

 Oooh! Shiny!
Collect a total of 5,000 emeralds.

Emeralds can be found in pots, chests and by killing enemies. If you play with multiple people, the coins are always divided among the party.

You can also sell items for Emeralds.

Playing in local co-op will favor Player 1 with more coins.

 Apprentice Adventurer
Reach Level 25.

Refer to the “Expert Explorer” trophy for more information on reaching Level 50.

Built On Sand, Set in Stone
Complete Redstone Mines and Cacti Canyon.

Both levels will be completed on your first run and will come during the natural course of the game.

 Worked Like a Charm
Enchant an item and upgrade the enchantment to Tier 3.

For this trophy you will need to upgrade a single Enchantment to Tier 3 on a weapon or armor piece.

The enchantment costs for a “Common” upgrade are:
Level 1 – 1 point.
Level 2 – 2 points.
Level 3 – 3 points.

For a “PowerfulEnchantment, found on higher power Gear, the costs are:
Level 1 – 2 points.
Level 2 – 3 points.
Level 3 – 4 points.

 Blast Radius
Kill any 10 mobs at once with TNT.

TNT is dropped at random by enemies. It can be thrown by pressing R2.

Killing 10 enemies with it can be a bit tricky. The level Pumpkin Pastures has a lot of open fields that are great for this trophy.

Once you found a TNT, keep it on you until you spot a large group of enemies. Throw it towards them, and make sure they stay in the blast radius. It is easier to do if you stand in the blast radius yourself too, that way the enemies will walk toward you and the blast!

Make sure to try this on the “Default” difficulty.

Refer to the pictures below to see how it is done.

 Diamond Sword
Defeat 2,500 mobs.

Mobs are enemies that can be found in all levels of Minecraft Dungeons. Kill a total of 2.500 of them to earn this trophy.

 Break the Spell
Defeat 50 enchanted mobs.

Enchanted Mobs can be found on all difficulties and ca be spotted by their purple outline. In most cases you will find a summoner next to them, who makes them enchanted.

 The Plot Thickens
Complete Pumpkin Pastures and Soggy Swamp.

Both levels will be completed on your first run and will come during the natural course of the game.

 Cha-ching!
Collect a total of 1,000 emeralds.

Refer to the “Oooh! Shiny!” trophy for more information on this.

 Out of the Woods
Complete Creeper Woods.

This level will be completed on your first run and will come during the natural course of the game.

 More for Me
Open 100 treasure chests.

Open a total of 100 treasure chests. Please note that you will need to open the chests yourself. Having a friend open them in Co-op or multiplayer won’t make any progress towards your trophy completion.

It is easiest to farm this trophy in the hidden level “Creepy Crypt” which holdS many treasure chests. Make sure to do this on the “Default” difficulty, as more treasure chests are present. You will also be able to clear the levels faster, as enemies won’t damage you when you are a higher level.

To unlock the “Creepy Crypt”, go to the “Creeper Woods” Level and make your way to the location shown in the image below. Once there, make your way in and complete the Crypt by exiting via the second exit.

Now, complete the “Creeper Woods” level and you can select the “Creepy Crypt” from the Level Select menu.

Note: “Fancy” chests, red with gold and brown chests, ,count towards this trophy.

 A Friend in Need
Use artefacts to summon the Wolf, Llama and Iron Golem allies at least once each.

The wolf is summoned with the “Tasty Bone”, which can be acquired in the “Default” difficulty or higher.

The Tasty Bone is found on the levels: Creepy Woods and the Creepy Crypt (hidden level).

The Llama is summoned with the “Wonderful Wheat”, which can be acquired in the “Adventure” difficulty or higher.

The Wonderful Wheat is found on the levels:
Obsidian Pinnacle and the Cacti Canyon.

The Golem is summoned with the “Golem Kit” which can be acquired in the “Apocalypse” difficulty on the level Pumpkin Pastures.

Note: All Summon Artefacts can also be acquired from the Merchant on all difficulty levels.

 Fancy That!
Find and open your first ‘Fancy’ loot chest.

Fancy loot chests are the one that are red with golden. They can be found in all levels, hidden in various places. Each time you replay a level, chests may appear on different spots.

 Happy Camper
Complete Squid Coast and set up camp.

Squid Coast is the tutorial level for this game. You will get the hang of the game by killing some enemies with your sword and bow. Once you completed it, you can fast travel to other areas.

 Om Nom Nom
Eat 200 food items.

You will need to eat 200 food items during 1 level. This seems like a lot, but there are plenty of items that boost the drop rate of Food Items.

To start, you need the “Food Reserves” Enhancement at Level 3. This will create 3 Food Items upon using your Health Potion.

There are also Armors that have the -40% Potion cooldown ability, which allow you to use the Potion much faster.

Doing this in co-op will speed it up even more, having 2 players spawn food

 Passive Aggressive
Defeat 50 passive mobs.

Passive Mobs are animals (cow and sheep) that can be found in all levels.

 Scrappy Scout
Reach Level 10.

Refer to the “Expert Explorer” trophy for more information on reaching Level 50.

 Wooden Sword
Defeat 50 mobs.

Mobs are enemies that can be found in all levels of Minecraft Dungeons. Kill a total of 50 of them to earn this trophy.
