Welcome to the trophy guide for Frightence. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox One, Series X and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4/5 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Stage 1 – Complete the game and get all collectibles.


Welcome to the trophy guide for Frightence developed and published by Playstige Interactive. The game is a horror walking simulator that is very similar to games such as Infliction and Evil Inside. There are no enemies and no dying. Besides one very short segment, there is no running. The key to knowing where to go in the game is usually told by a clock on the left side after entering a floor. For example, when you go to the second floor and the clock says 2:33, the game wants you to go to room 233. There are 8 missable collectibles to look out for. They are “Lease Management”, “Good Old Times”, “Big Brother”, “Aisle Blocker”, “News Times”, “Landlord for Kids”, “Autopsy Instinction”, and “Murderess Father”.
Here are the trophies along with a text walkthrough in chronological order:

  • “Floor Dweller” – When you gain control of your character, go left and up the stairs. Go through the door ahead with the cross button and head up the stairwell. This trophy will pop.
  • “Lease Management” – Ignore the first floor for now. Head up to the second floor and enter the first door on the right; room 227. Directly in front of you is a collectible. Pick it up for the trophy.
  • “Big Brother” – Turn left in room 227 and on top of the TV is a VHS tape. Pick it up for the trophy.
  • “Pest Control” – Go into the bathroom in the left corner of room 227. Walk all the way to the bathtub. Turn around and head out of the bathroom. On the way, a cabinet will open and this trophy will pop.
  • “Scared Janitor” – Leave room 227 and turn right. Head straight down the hallway until this trophy pops.
  • “Meow Meow” – Head back to the stairwell and go down to the first floor. Head all the way to the end of the hallway and a cat will hiss at you and run off. The trophy will pop.
  • “Good Old Times” – Go left at the split in the hallway and enter room 134 on your left. Go straight ahead and around the couch. A collectible is on a table to the left of the TV. Pick it up for the trophy.
  • “News Times” – Leave room 134 and you are able to run. Run back towards the stairwell and a cutscene will start and you will be back in the basement where you began the game. Go left, up the stairs, through the door, and climb the stairwell to get to the second floor. Enter the third door on the right; room 230. There is a collectible on the table to the left. This will pop the trophy.
  • “Aisle Blocker” – Go into the room on the right inside room 230. To the right of the man, there is a collectible on the counter. Pick it up and the trophy will pop.
  • “Hide & Seek” – Leave room 230 and go back to the hallway. As you open the door, a child will run past you and the trophy will pop.
  • “Birdy Window” – Turn left after leaving room 230 and head down the stairs. As you pass the window, a bird will hit it and the trophy will pop.
  • “Landlord for Kids” – Head down to the first floor and walk to the end of the corridor. Go left and straight ahead to room 135. Go through the next door and the collectible is on a table to your left. Pick it up for the trophy.
  • “Toy’s Land” – Go through the next door into room 135 proper and you will be in a child’s room. The trophy will pop here.
  • “Funeral Home” – Enter the door on the right in room 135 and go towards the woman as close as you can. Leave and enter the door on the opposite side of the room. Go straight ahead until you are as close to the mirror as you can be. Leave the bathroom and the toys will be going wild. Walk towards them and wait for the doll at the table to talk to you. Go to the seat across from her and a cutscene will start. You will be back in the basement. Go left, up the stairs, through the door, and up the stairwell to go to the second floor. Go all the way to the end of the hallway and turn right to enter room 233. The trophy will pop when you are inside.
  • “Autopsy Instinction” – In room 233, go down the hallway to the left and through the first door on the left. There is a collectible on the nightstand to the left of the bed. Pick it up for the trophy.
  • “Room 128” – Leave the bedroom in room 233 and go through the door diagonally left from you. Walk up to the computer and turn around and try to leave the hallway for another scene. When you regain control, go all the way back to the stairwell and go down to the first floor. Go straight down the hallway and as you pass room 128, you will pop the trophy.
  • “Murderess Father” – Go forward to room 132 on your right. Go through both doors ahead. Straight ahead on a dresser is a VHS tape. Pick it up to pop the trophy.
  • “Welcome Back” – Facing the dresser in room 132, go down the hallway to the left and enter the first door to your left. Go all the way into the bathroom and leave it. Go right and right again to attempt to exit room 132. The room will loop so go forward, right, and straight out the door again. You will loop yet again so try to leave room 132 once more and you will succeed this time. Go right, then left at the split, and enter room 134 on your left. The trophy will pop.
  • “Good Morning Sunshine” – Go through the corridor into the room. Go up to the TV and then turn around. A cutscene will start and when you gain control again, the trophy will pop.
  • “Red Room” – Go towards the TV and get close to it. Head to the exit of the room and enter the door on the right instead. Go inside to pop the trophy.
  • “Residents of Nightmare” – This will pop after you get the “Red Room” trophy. To finish the game, simply leave the Red Room and go towards the TV on the left again to start the final cutscene.

Lease Management
What Kind of Landlord is this?

Collectible. Found directly in front of you in room 227.


Good Old Times
Mrs. Moore looked better naturally back then…

Collectible. After following the cat to room 134, this collectible is on a table to the left of the TV.


Big Brother
George’s surveillance tapes can be sold at black market…

Collectible. VHS tape on top of the TV in room 227.


Aisle Blocker
Albert’s diet prescription reads like poetry…

Collectible. Enter room 230 and go through the door to the right. To the right of the man on a counter is the collectible.


News Times
Extra Extra! Read all about it!

Collectible. On the table in room 230.


Landlord for Kids
He will kill me mommy!

Collectible. Enter room 135, then go through the next door and the collectible is to your left.


Autopsy Instinction
Autopsies are a dying practice…

Collectible. After entering room 233, go down the hall and enter the first door to the left. This will be on the nightstand to the left of the bed.


Murderess Father
Get me out of here, please…

Collectible. Enter room 132 and go through the door ahead. This collectible is directly in front of you on a dresser.


Birdy Window
Bye bye little bird…

As you go down the stairs after the first loop to get to the first floor, a bird will hit the window and the trophy will pop.


Room 128
Nobody likes a snitch!

As you walk past room 128 with the caution tape on it near the end of the game, the trophy will pop.


Red Room
Stalker neighbors are for real!

Before you leave room 134 at the end of the game after earning the “Good Morning Sunshine” trophy, check the door to the right of the exit door. Go inside briefly to pop the trophy.


Funeral Home
Those who remains will bury you in their bathroom!

This will pop when you enter room 233.


Welcome Back
Cat lady invites for a special gala event…

This will pop as you loop through room 134.


Good Morning Sunshine
When you wake up in strange places…

In room 134 after the loop, examine the TV. A cutscene will start and the trophy will pop.


Floor Dweller
Welcome to the building…please proceed to the exit…

This will unlock as you are climbing the stairs for the first time in the stairwell.


Scared Janitor
Why this fella walking so slow? Is he scared?

After leaving room 227, turn right and proceed down the hall until the trophy pops.


Pest Control
Who harvests insect hive in his bathroom?

Go into the bathroom in the corner past the kitchen in room 227. Go to the bathtub, turn around, and start to leave. The cabinet will open and the trophy will pop.


Meow Meow
Black cat in a sinister corridor is your dream date night…

After going back down a floor after first visiting the second floor, go to the end of the hall and the trophy will pop when you are close to the cat.


Hide and Seek
Feel the lights…

This will unlock as you leave room 230.


Toy’s Land
Pick up your toys…and repair your dreams…

Going forward through room 135 will take you to a children’s room. The trophy will pop here.
