Cave Digger Trophy Guide

 End: Dimensional War
Send the nuke into another dimension 

 End: Apocalypse
You brought about nuclear war. Great job!

You’ll need to buy the giant bomb and the red switch. Place the bomb somewhere in the saloon and take the red switch with you down the shafts. Now activate the red switch. Upon arriving back in the saloon, the trophy will pop. 

 Blind Pass Toss a valuable into the bin without looking

This trophy is earned for throwing a gem into the bin without looking. The bin is located in the middle of the elevator. This trophy could trigger itself while you are mining.

If you are having trouble, try the following:

Look a bit up, while still being able to see the basket. Throw in an item, and the trophy should pop.

  End: Chaos Gauntlet Become a new deity

For this trophy you will need you buy the chaos Gauntlet and find all 5 gems in order to destroy the world. The gauntlet can be bought for 400 gold.
The 5 gems can be spotted really easy, you will see a glow coming from a rock, as seen in picture 2.

 End: Unlock the Mystery Vault
Find the 4 keys and unlock the ultimate secret

You will need to collect 4 keys and open the secret vault. The 4 keys can be found at:
1) Lava section: Hidden in a random rock. Key looks brown. Position: second one at the vault.
2) Radio: smash the radio, the key is inside. Key looks golden. Position: fourth one at the vault.
3) Mushroom: Eat a mushroom and you will start tripping. One of the trips will take you into space where you will find a floating key. Grab it and keep hold onto it until you make your way back to the vault. Key looks colorful.
Position: first one at the vault.
4) Shop: The last key can be bought in the shop for 1000 coins. Key has 5 diamonds on it with different colors.
Position: third one at the vault.

When all keys are inserted make your way inside and you will find a little box with a microphone in it. Pick it up and the trophy will pop.

  End: Space Elevator
Launch yourself into space

Throw the nuke down the shaft(on the left side) and wait for a few seconds. Now trigger the red trigger box and you will fly into space, earning you this trophy.

 End: Nuke the overworld
Trigger the nuke in the saloon

Activate the nuclear bomb + switch while both down in the elevator shaft.

 End: Useless Tech Unlock Self referential irony mode

Buy the VR glasses and put them on, this will unlock a world that looks an awful lot like Minecraft, which will earn you this trophy.

 My Preciousss
Bring a valuable with you to a new run

Mine a gem and keep it with you (in your hand) while you make your way back upwards. Keep hold onto it and press the red button to go on a new mission. The trophy will trigger once you go down.

 Explode In Hand
Let an explosive explode in your hand

Hold any explosive in your hand and let it explode. Just keep holding it, you won’t die.

 Luck With The Drill
Drill an oil pocket without scanning

You will need to buy the drill for this trophy. Drill at random spots without using the scan function. Oil is most likely to be found in corners, so try those first. A bit of luck is involved in this trophy.

It’s best if you use the 3rd upgraded drill for this.

  To rule them all
Find a hidden Magic Ring

The ring can be found in the ice/crystal section. While driving the train, you’ll notice a large gap in the wall. It’s a path that seems to lead nowhere. Follow the path and you’ll end up finding the ring.

 End: Groovy Ending Groovy, man

For the final ending, you’ll need to unlock the final section of the train (Levitate upgrade). Then, find the golden seed and place it next to the giant tablet. Note: Make sure to find the golden seed in the final part of the level. The game bugs out when you try to move the golden seed from another part towards the final section.

 Space whaling
Spend all your money for no return

You’ll notice some giant golden statues in the early sections. You’ll need to “feed” all 3 of them enough gold for them to turn fully gold. If they stop eating, you’ve given them enough jewels/gems. Doing this will unlock the Alien ending at the base. Once this is done, you can purchase the painting for 99.999 money, which will unlock “Space whaling”.

Drop the toilet paper in the chasm

Behind the train (outside) is a little wooden toilet house. Pick up the toilet paper and throw it off the cliff.

 Party in the caves
Fully upgrade sound systems on train

The sound systems are unlocked when buying all the other upgrades. Just make sure to buy everything that’s for sale. The sound system upgrades are the cheapest among them.

 I got the cash baby
Reach 20k monies

Hold a total of 20.000 monies in your inventory/bank. This will unlock naturally, as you’ll need 99.000 for a final upgrade.

 Feed me with treasures
Find the pet

The little chest (pet) can be found in the earliest stages of the cages, next to some mining areas. Interact with it and it will keep following you. You can feed it jewels, making you gain money.

 Mr. Conductor
Drive 5km on the train

Driving from the base to the final area will unlock this trophy. It’s very likely that you’ll get this way earlier, as you’ll need to farm a lot of money.

Die by poison

Enter the poison area without buying the gas mask. If you buy the gas mask BEFORE entering the area, you’ll lock yourself out of this trophy!

 All maxed out
Buy all the upgrades to town

Purchase all upgrades towards the buildings that are available on the board.

Note: Sometimes new items don’t show up. It’s recommended to restart the game.

Unlock the Train

Once you exit the saloon you’ll be able to unlock the train. It’s recommended to unlock the saloon endings before doing the train part.

 Frutti Di Spelunca
Eat a mushroom

When going down the shaft in the saloon, there is a chance some mushrooms will spawn. Eat one and you’ll earn this trophy.

  I Have The Power
Use only a pickaxe for the duration of a run

Unlocked during the tutorial.

 Mine Everything
Mine every valuable from a single floor

This trophy is unlocked during the tutorial, as the floors holds only a few gems there.

If it didn’t pop during the tutorial: Equip the gauntlet (with 4 gems) and you’ll be able to clear floors quickly.

Feed Mimi a dynamite

Feed the little chests (pet) a dynamite.
Dynamites are unlocked in the saloon.
