Welcome to the trophy guide for Brief Battles. This can also be considered a walkthrough and may be used for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. Achievements for Steam and Xbox are in almost all cases the same as the PlayStation 4 Trophies. A roadmap is provided in the stages below.

Stage 1 – Complete all the different battles, collectibles, and target levels within the game.
At the main menu you can choose to play either Battles or Challenges, this does not affect earning trophies. All the Battle trophies require you to play each type (classic battle, knockout, hold the gold, and underpants collector 30 times for each). The Challenge levels require you to complete various levels of difficulty, be it earning silver and gold undies.
NOTE: There is an option in the settings menu under gameplay settings to change the Butt-em-up enemies to be easier, this does not affect earning the two survival trophies. You can see which character skins you have earned from the Reward option in the main menu. All characters have equal abilities and skills, only Violet (and her skin called Yooka-Laylee) is slightly taller than other characters which is advantageous for collecting items that require higher jumps. The other skins are crossovers from Machinarium, Bit.Trip Runner, World of Goo, Toto Temple Deluxe, and Stumpt!
Tips: Accuracy, speed, and timing are key to achieving gold in all collector and target levels. Use portals when you can to get around more quickly or shoot at targets/enemies through them. If you use the toxic green goo balls on a target (tagged) there is a countdown before it is destroyed, so instead after tagging the target, touch it and it will instantly be destroyed. It is recommended that you repeat levels immediately if you didn’t earn the gold undies as the levels have the exact same spawning of enemies, underpants, and bonus letters.
Stage 2 – Earn 3 undies (gold) in each level of the Challenge levels.
There are no missable trophies as all will be earned by playing the Battle levels 30 times each and the Challenge levels by getting gold for each level.

Underpants Collector Skilled – Gold
Achieve gold for all levels of Underpants Collector Skilled.
Complete levels 11 – 25 of Underpants Collector Skilled by getting gold on all of them. Use the big jump, triangle button, to move quickly around the level while avoiding any spikes, death trap vines, or falling down off ledges. If there’s ghosts in the level make sure to destroy them as they will eliminate the underpants you are collecting to beat the clock.Replay levels if needed to learn the best pathway to take as the underpants appear in the same positions each time.
Butt-em-up Battles Act 1 – Gold
Achieve gold for all levels of Butt-em-up Battles Act 1.
Complete levels 1 – 5 of Butt-em-up Battles Act 1 by getting gold on all of them.
Butt-em-up Battles Act 2 – Gold
Achieve gold for all levels of Butt-em-up Battles Act 2.
Complete levels 6 – 10 of Butt-em-up Battles Act 2 by getting gold on all of them. Levels 6 – 9 destroy all enemies within the given time. Level 10 has two waves of enemies to destroy, and then a boss battle where you must destroy the blue gooballs that the large blue enemy is firing out. Position yourself on the level under the boss, there are four small waves of the blue gooballs you need to destroy and after each go, hit the boss once and move away so that you are not stunned. After the third gooball wave and you hit the boss, it will divide into smaller and smaller gooballs until you have destroyed all of them. Don’t worry about other enemies and only take out the necessary ones so you don’t loss health. See video below.

Complete levels 46 – 60 of Tighty Whitey Targets Master by getting gold on all of them. Use the big jump, triangle button, to move quickly around the level while avoiding any spikes, death trap vines, or falling down off ledges. Don’t spray bullets and hope to hit targets. Instead be precise in aiming to hit targets efficiently and quickly to beat the clock.
Tighty Whitey Targets Pro – Gold

Complete levels 31 – 45 of Tighty Whitey Targets Pro by getting gold on all of them. Bogus
Discover BOGUS .
When you have levels that have “B”, “O”, “N”, “U”, “S” letters appear you can collect them by touching these letters. If you are too slow in getting them they will turn a different color and disappear. If you collect the letter “G” you will get the “BOGUS” trophy. This can be obtained in Challenges > Underpants Collector > Level 8.
Able Underwearrior
Survive 5 minutes in Endless Butt-em-up.
Destroy all the enemies and avoid all obstacles for 5 minutes. I found it easiest to earn on the desert level by picking the location shown in the picture and camp there. Move up and down while shooting any enemies or their bullets at you.
Underpants Collector Pro – Silver
Achieve silver for all levels of Underpants Collector Pro
Complete levels 26 – 40 of Underpants Collector Pro by getting at least silver on all of them. Use the big jump, triangle button, to move quickly around the level while avoiding any spikes, death trap vines, or falling down off ledges. Battle Tested
Play either Classic Battle – Free For All or Team 30 times.
Play Classic battle >> free-for-all is classic free-for-all chaos or team is battling with 2v2, 2v1, or 3v1, player with highest kill count wins after 5 rounds. Repeat 30 times to earn the trophy. It is possible to do this as a single player with a second controller where you play only one character to ensure you win every battle.
The Basics
Complete all of The Basics lessons
Complete the four levels of The Basics to earn this trophy. The Basics are four levels-run, jump, climb; run jump climb advanced; roof hopping without stopping; and bare buns and basics.
Tighty Whitey Targets Skilled – Silver
Achieve silver for all levels of Tighty Whitey Targets Skilled
Complete the 15 levels of Tighty Whitey Targets by getting at least silver on all of them. Use the big jump, triangle button, to move quickly around the level while avoiding any spikes, death trap vines, or falling down off ledges. Don’t spray bullets and hope to hit targets. Instead be precise in aiming to hit targets efficiently and quickly to beat the clock.

Apprentice Underwearrior
Survive 2 minutes in Endless Butt-em-up

It is possible to do this as a single player with a second controller where you play only one character to ensure you win every battle.
Butt-em-up Battles Act 1 – Silver
Achieve silver for all levels of Butt-em-up Battles Act 1
Complete the 15 levels of Butt-em-up Battles Act 1 by getting at least silver on all of them.
Golden Achiever
Play either Hold the Gold – Classic or Bare Buns 30 times
This can be done either solo with a second controller or by playing local multiplayer. It does not matter who wins any of the 30 games of Hold the Gold – Classic or Bare Buns as long as you complete each game. It is possible to do this as a single player with a second controller where you play only one character to ensure you win every battle.
Butt-em-up Battles Act 2 – Silver
Achieve silver for all levels of Butt-em-up Battles Act 2
Complete the 15 levels of Butt-em-up Battles Act 2 by getting at least silver on all of them.
KO
Play either Knockout – Classic or High Health 30 times
This can be done either solo with a second controller or by playing local multiplayer. It does not matter who wins any of the 30 games of Knockout – Classic or High Health as long as you complete each game. It is possible to do this as a single player with a second controller where you play only one character to ensure you win every battle.
Underpants Collector Master – Silver
